We just moved into our new home and the bedroom that my daughter was going to sleep in was dark blue. My husband and I wanted it painted purple with a gray accent wall and an Eiffel Tower mural painted on one of the walls since the room is Paris themed. Some of the professional painters I contacted were just as or more expensive than Closet Prep and Paint and they were only offering to paint the walls without doing a mural. Teressa and her staff member did a wonderful job painting my daughters room and the finished product nearly brought my husband, daughter, and I to tears. She exceeded our expectations. She pointed out flaws and mistakes made by the last person who painted the room and her and her staff member corrected them for us. The finished product was amazing! Also, before coming to paint my daughters room she promptly responded to all email and text message questions and concerns. She also gave me a little gift of appreciation for hiring her. Closet Prep & Paint has done two jobs for me. One was to paint my master bathroom, and the other was to stain my back deck. They did a fabulous job on both. The first job was the master bathroom. The paint lines were perfectly clean, no spots were missed...and they even fixed a significant crack above the door from where the house had settled. All nail pops seams and cracks were corrected, spackled and painted so professionally that you can't even tell there ever was an issue. The walls and ceiling look perfect!! We liked their work so much, we called them back to stain our deck. Not only did they do a superior staining job...but we didn't even have to be home when they did it. We left for work in the morning and returned home to a beautifully refinished deck!! There's no better service than that!! Closet Prep & Paint just stained the entire exterior of my cedar home. They did a GREAT job. The experience was enjoyable and the results outstanding. I obtained 6 quotes and reviewed each bidder's references. Teresa had a good price and great references. So I used C P & P and am glad I did. The results were amazing. They applied the stain evenly and did not miss anything. The house has a nice rich color all over. I was home while they were working so I had the chance to interact with the crew during the day. Whenever I had a question or observation the addressed it. They were always polite and friendly. They kept the area around the house clean and neat as they worked, and returned anything they moved to its original location. The work was completed to perfection. This was the second time we used Closet Prep & Paint. The first job they did was our Sunroom and we were extremely happy. They were on-time, professional and the job looked fantastic! The 2nd area we did was the stairwell and upstairs hallway. I had made the HUGE MISTAKE of hiring a different painter for this job out of convenience (he showed up at my door and was a lot less expensive.. big red flag!) He completed the job using 2 different shades of paint (it was supposed to be one color) and the paint lines were unmistakable! He also got paint on all of the trimwork and the railing. Needless to say, you get what you pay for and I've learned my lesson! Closet Prep and Paint came out and repainted everything, and it looks fantastic! I will never use another painter again. I hired Ms Teressa to paint my mother's master bathroom in July. Since it was a trial run I just wanted her to paint the walls only. She was very helpful in that she explained her policies and services thoroughly. Even though I was not there to watch the process the end result was exactly what I wanted! The lines are clean, the layers are evenly coated, everything was neat. My mom was impressed with her room and currently is now looking into what room to paint next! I am very pleased with the professional workmanship provided by this company. We had water damage to all three levels of a home that damaged the sheetrock ceilings and walls. After making a mess of painting a newly built room, we needed to have someone fix what we had done. We were in a time crunch to get the room painted before the carpet was installed. Teressa was able to coordinate the job in about two days. They did a very nice job, and got it done with enough time for the paint to dry before the carpet came in. She then coordinated additional touch-ups after the carpet installers marked up the brand new paint job. We'll certainly use them again if the need arises. read more
