Jenix worked in our house for over a month and the crew was always respectful of our space, prompt, polite, and tidy with cleaning up at the end of each day. Although Lee did not perform the job himself, Ivan and his team came out to repair the drywall and replace the carpet. Ivan was really great - he was courteous and efficient throughout the whole project, which took about 1.5 days to complete. Some highlights were: 1) The crew was able to start working almost immediately after I called Master's Construction. 2) Ivan worked very hard to find the closest match to my existing carpet. It sounded like he was checking out quite a few places until he found someone all the way in Richmond that had our carpet! In addition, I was not told which brand or color of paint would be used until the last minute. I just happened to have a color swatch for the brand of paint that this painter would use, so I was able to select the color that I wanted, although I did not have time to test it on my walls first. Nonetheless, the paint job of the walls, trim, and ceilings ended up looking good. My husband, in-laws, and realtor complimented the painter on the paint job. One reason why I chose this business for the painting was because it is a husband-and-wife team, with the husband doing the painting and the wife doing the cleaning. If there was a delay with the painting, it would be easier to coordinate the scheduling of the cleaning. After the painting was done, the wife cleaned the entire house. I would recommend this business for a reasonably priced and high-quality painting and cleaning job. Just make sure to get all details in the written estimate well before the job starts.

One of my wife's co-workers had hired Proper Painting and Home Improvements to do their similar home and were impressed with the results. My wife hired Dave and his team and they did the job quickly and correctly with an outstanding job on both the interior and exterior paint jobs. The results COMPLETELY changed the look and feel of the house, and, after new flooring went in, they came back and did the final touch up to ensure everything remained tied together. After 8 months, we decided to convert a former utility closet into a wine cellar. It formerly housed a large boiler and fuel tanks and was, to be frank, a disaster. Dave and his team came in, surveyed the requirements and then went to work. Not only did they do the priming and painting, they repaired loose concrete bricks, built a closet for the water heater and then did an outstanding job getting new tile flooring in.
