Recently we picked up some ordered items as well as 1 gallon of engine oil. My husband is disabled and an employee carried out and placed oil on the floor in our passenger backseat area. When I went to get the oil out, it had leaked from the lid all over and under the back floor mat, the carpet was saturated! Almost the entire gallon was spilled. Because I have the entire back seat covered by our pet seat and my front passenger seat back there is no way that if the oil was placed standing up it could have fallen to be laying flat as to allow the spill. We didn't open the container or note the way it was initially placed but it did not have a plastic tum seal on the lid. Beeler's ultimate is finding us that we shouldn't have left it in the car for a day...They finally agreed to give us another oil and would try to clean up the mess themselves although admittedly they had no clue how. I've soakes up all I can with paper towels, applied pressure with a plastic spackle tool to bring up more oil, and applied baking soda to absorb more. We are now looking for businesses that can clean up with degreaser and shampoo and hope oil hadn't migrated seeping through carpet/padding.

The yellowing you see is how my entire countertop looks and the part I posted is underneath my dish drainer so no one can claim it's from heat. The countertop is actually separating from the sink because they did not seal it and the wood underneath is now swollen."Custom" means custom, I asked for the drop on my island to be 3 inches but they decided not to make it 3 inches because it wouldn't "match the rest of the countertops". Did I mention "custom"?? They also did not bother to measure to see how far down to put the stencil behind my stove so I actually had to buy a new oven so the stencil would show. The stencil was very very important to us. And they went ahead and cut out a hole for that outlet after I asked them not to. The wife of this business accused me of owing her an additional $500 even after her husband came out here and offered me $300 towards the cost of the purchase of my new oven so my stencil would show. My point is, the quality of work is extremely lacking and don't expect any customer service afterwards. The photos say it all. Now I wait for my phone to blow up!

Not having much gardening experience and being new to the area, the employees at Sperbeck's helped me pick out some plants and mulch that would work nicely. A year later this bed is looking so pretty. This past fall we decided to have our back yard redone as it was basically a patch of weeds (Bermuda grass we later learned) and thorny, mangy rose bushes. Chris came out and spent time doing a design for us and made it clear that we were in no way obligated to use them for the install. To us it made the most sense to have Sperbeck's team install the design. Their crew worked hard for about 2 weeks during December rains to install irrigation and a completely new back yard and as it is beginning to bloom this spring, it is GORGEOUS! We are also taking advantage of their Garden Girls service to tend to our pruning, weeding, and fertilizing. They come quarterly and the price seems very reasonable to me. I recently noticed aphids all over some of our new plants as well as the Bermuda grass starting to reappear. I headed down to the nursery, and once again the employees were very helpful. They stock ladybugs for the aphids and had helpful tips about releasing them and were also able to give me advice on killing the Bermuda grass without killing our new sod. Overall, this is a great local business with knowledgeable employees. The owners who run the landscape design and install side as well are so nice, accessible and responsive. Highly recommended.

Our well went out Thursday 5/22/25 (no water at all on our…read moreproperty), we had a company out of Dixon come on Friday 5/23/25 morning they were great but did not have the equipment (because of the well location) to get the pump out, they gave us the number of (Monde, someone with this company) because they have the necessary equipment to get the job done. When we called for service the Monde told my husband they would possibly be out Saturday 5/25/25 (this was a holiday weekend), if not then it would be Tuesday 5/27/25. No one came on Tuesday and when my husband called he was told they would be here Wednesday 5/28/25 morning. Two guys came Wednesday morning at 9:30, left at 1:26 to get parts in Sacramento, they said they would be back to layout the tubing (part), get everything ready and be back In the morning to finish, he said it would be a quick finish In the morning. They returned at 4:05 and then left at 4:43. When I went outside I noticed that they left a mess. Today, Thursday 5/29/25 they have not shown up, my husband called Monde (the man who originally set the appointment) at 9:02 and again at 11:03, then also sent a text at 11:06. He did not received any response so at 12:00 he called the company # directly and spoke to a woman who said they were at lunch but did contacted someone and said they were going to call in a few minutes. He never received a call so called back at 1:09 to let the woman know that he had not heard from anyone and he asked for the owner but was told he was not available and was transferred to Molly who then told him they were at lunch and she could not contact them until they "clocked back in". My husband told her that we needed to know what was going on because if they were not coming we needed to contact someone else as we are now without water since the previous week. She then passed phone to another man who told my husband that they would not be coming today but in the morning (tomorrow) because they had an emergency, my husband told him that this is an emergency (no water for a week) and that was bull *, the man then said he would be sending a bill and hung up on him.

Pump has since failed again, simply worn out - that happens, fixed same day I called. Same thing when my pressure tank failed out recently. I have also had "ants in the switch" a time or two, again it was fixed same day. When I wanted to connect to the Colusa County Water District system for irrigation water, Alsco Geyer took care of everything and I have never had a problem. The parts department manager, Rocci, is FABULOUS. I call her the irrigation guru. She always goes above and beyond to answer my greenhorn questions and find the parts I might need.
