I was naïve and thought that I could dig up my sewer line (all 75 feet), with the help of my…read morefather-in-law and a rented trencher, and just have a plumber come in and replace the pipe. It was Wednesday morning when I called four or five local plumbing companies and they all seemed to be booked for at least a week. I called Joe Seabolt at Joe Seabolt Plumbing and told him my plan to dig the trench on Thursday and have him replace the pipe on Friday. He said he would be able to make that work. He told me he would stopped by sometime in the afternoon on Thursday and check on our progress. Well turns out the trencher I reserved could only dig a trench at most three feet deep. And we found out pretty quick that my sewer line connected to the main somewhere around 5 to 6 feet underground. My stomach sank because I was unsure if I could still get my sewer line fixed before the weekend and didn't want to have to burden my in-laws with me and my family of four crashing at their house for the entire weekend. By the time I returned the trencher and went back home Mr. Seabolt arrived to inspect our progress. He was un-phased with the lack of digging we had accomplished and said it would be no problem to get a backhoe to dig the trench on Friday. Sure enough, Friday morning he called me and said him and his crew were on their way to my house. By the time I went home for my lunch break they had already dug and replaced the sewer line and were backfilling the trench. I was very pleased with the efficiency and quality of work they did. The price was also below what other plumbers had quoted me. I highly recommend this plumber!

These guys coordinated entire project, and the drilling crew that had to drill under road for me to replace pipe. Tony's crew had to dig a new ditch to miss most of tree and dug across entire yard. I was shocked at the piles of dirt, tree roots and rocks. Two days later, all pipe laid and the crew had my yard looking great. They were extremely easy to work with and did a meticulous job. Tony, the owner, came out to estimate. After we approved the estimate, his brother (Mason) and son-in-law (Kyle) arrived about 30 minutes later, along with any materials that they might need. The actual cost was less than the estimate, despite the additional work/cost of replacing both shut-off valves and doing a quick fix on the bathroom sink drain. I could not be more pleased with their knowledge, workmanship, prices and promptness! I love that All City Plumbing is local, family business, and I found them to be honest, professional, polite and very pleasant to be around. I had Joel out to give me an estimate, he called me the next day and said the job would be $2500 unless they ran into problems and it might go to $3500. I had them do the work, it went as scheduled, no problems. Joel then gives me a $3500 bill. I said to him why is it a $1000 higher then your estimate because you had no problems and I even told them I would do the clean up, which was a lot of shoveling. He said well we had some hand digging. That hand digging was about 10ft and about 1ft deep. I said that cost an additional $1000? He knew he had price gouged me. Words of advise, GET IT IN WRITING before you hire them!!!
