We scheduled service for the next day, and they spent hours digging up hard clay soil to replace the backflow preventer. After the new backflow preventer was installed, they proceeded to hydro jet our main sewer line from the ground and through a roof vent until it was completely clean. It was Wednesday morning when I called four or five local plumbing companies and they all seemed to be booked for at least a week. I called Joe Seabolt at Joe Seabolt Plumbing and told him my plan to dig the trench on Thursday and have him replace the pipe on Friday. He said he would be able to make that work. He told me he would stopped by sometime in the afternoon on Thursday and check on our progress. Well turns out the trencher I reserved could only dig a trench at most three feet deep. And we found out pretty quick that my sewer line connected to the main somewhere around 5 to 6 feet underground. My stomach sank because I was unsure if I could still get my sewer line fixed before the weekend and didn't want to have to burden my in-laws with me and my family of four crashing at their house for the entire weekend. By the time I returned the trencher and went back home Mr. Seabolt arrived to inspect our progress. He was un-phased with the lack of digging we had accomplished and said it would be no problem to get a backhoe to dig the trench on Friday. Sure enough, Friday morning he called me and said him and his crew were on their way to my house. By the time I went home for my lunch break they had already dug and replaced the sewer line and were backfilling the trench. I was very pleased with the efficiency and quality of work they did. The price was also below what other plumbers had quoted me. I highly recommend this plumber!

The only problem I had with them was they told me they would send someone out the following week to clean up the yard. That never happened. I was left with deep ruts where they ran the backhoe. I also had several deep low spots and random high spots where they didn't fill the trench back in after replacing the water line. They also left several large roots laying around that they had dug up. I've been trying to clean up the mess myself so I can reseed, but that's not easy when you are a little old lady like me. Overall, I would recommend them for most jobs since they did a good job repairing the problem and did not overcharge for the work. Just don't expect a lot of follow-up once the job is done.

He explained that the pipes were crushed from construction trucks when the house was built & it needed to be replaced. He estimated $10,000 to re-run the pipes, cut the concrete & re-place cement. He billed me about $275. No photos just explanation & a VERY high quote. I calle Rotor Rutter for a 2nd opinion. They came, ran an 80 foot snake, showed photos that the pipes were o.k. & not crushed, billed us $185 & problem was solved. I REALLY feel this guy is a scammer.
