I wanted a Japanese selvedge denim jacket, particularly interested in Iron Heart, so this was the place to come. They have a huge selection of many Japanese brands. The problem is...all these brands use a leather patch. I guess they are going for the midcentury Americana authenticity but it left me out of luck on the vegan front. Fortunately the staff was very upfront and helpful about the lack of vegan options in the jackets, though they noted some pants were patch free. So no fault on Self Edge at all! Adrienne took such great care of us on what was clearly a very busy day; you'd never have known it from the attention she gave us. The women's selection here was the largest we've come across -- it was genuinely fun to explore all the styles and actually try things on. And when we were done, Adrienne offered to ship our order home so we didn't have to squeeze everything into our carry-ons. And inside there weren't really the t-shirts I had originally thought I was interested in meeting but there were all these other tops and bottoms and quiet chill super helpful and engaging three then four shop people that wanted me to simply give them my wire transfer information so they could swap out all my savings for really cool clothing. I almost did! Though at the last minute elected to just procure a trousers and a t-shirt that wasn't even remotely what I had been considering but which also was actually perfect so there you go. Simply, you should just pop in. It doesn't matter your mood. If you're blue, your frown will turn upside down. If you're already having a good day, the rest will be better. If you've been cocktailing try really hard to not just volunteer access to all your accounts with an invitation to have at it. The employee (or possibly the owner) brought me several pieces to style the pants with and surprised me with how well everything fit my body (which is a challenge). I told him my situation and I was able to purchase it in about 1 minute. Brian promptly sent me the invoice via text. I told him my daughter works near TS and she would pick it up. Once she arrived there was no parking. I called and spoke to Brian again. I asked if he could run out and throw the bag in her car. He said he would! I describe her car, and gave Brian her name. Both times when talking to Brian I felt like he was more than happy to accommodate me (which he did). When my daughter got home with the product, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pants. They are beautiful! Some may think it's a little pricey but I think you get what you pay for and I can tell that this item will be worn for a long time. The only thing I must regrettably say is that the website wasn't as easy to get through or else I probably would have purchased shirts there too.
