The French onion hit the spot, and I really appreciated the baguette used in the soup. My risotto was really nicely cooked, and I don't think it really needed chicken. My friend also ordered the French onion, but she got an earl gray tea, spinach and goat cheese tart, and sticky toffee cake. All of the food was delicious. The portions were very generous - especially for the entrees. I wish we could have carried out the rest of leftovers, but our hotel didn't have a fridge. Lastly, the dessert was delicious. My favorite part was the toffee surrounding the cake, which was a bit dense for my liking. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. SERVICE: Our servers were strllar, though I wish I could remember their names, which weren't on the receipt. Great job being attentive and helpful in being knowledgeable about their menu. The 4 stars are for the food and ambiance. When I ordered, I asked our server about the salad - what was the lettuce that comes with the dish. She replied "iceberg". I said I cannot eat iceberg is there another lettuce? She pointed to the lettuce at another table and it was NOT iceberg - it was butter lettuce. They do not train their staff well - the food nonetheless is very good. She obviously did not know about food. I highly recommend this restaurant bu be careful if you get a non trained server.
