They have everything you can think of from a bookstore, outside seating, copy area, computer room, fireplace with cozy seating to children's area. The personnel are knowledgeable and friendly. We purchased books from the Friends of the Library bookstore as well as browsed books that were lining the many rows of shelves of books. I especially enjoy reading the magazines and newspapers. If you are in the area, stop in, relax and read for a bit.

They have a lot of little toy areas that they can play with. They have an imaginary play puppet area too. When you check out, they have a self checkout where you can scann the card and then the items. They have bags to check out too for carrying the books in. You can print a receipt which will tell you when items are due back. I also took a photo just in case. The desks have people working there that are super helpful. They answered so many questions. My husband went to the other side up top and looked at some books while the kids were playing. They also have activities and storytime classes that you can attend. While in the process of packing and moving, the kids and I took a break from visiting our library. I didn't want to borrow material and then possibly loose items during the move. The Graubner Library is located just north of 30 Mile Rd, on Van Dyke and was the closest to our new home. On our 1st visit I was throughly impressed. Not only with the size and amenities available at this public library but with the staff, that was more than welcoming, friendly and helpful. They signed me and 3 of my children up for our own library cards. My kids got a kick out of having their own cards, as this was a first for them. Since moving to our new home we have been to this library a half a dozen times, in just 8 weeks. We have borrowed approximately 30 items, including books, magazines and DVDs. Can you tell we really love the library! This library, as with all other libraries I've been to gets 5 Stars from me. How can they not!? This is a FREE service and resource center available to EVERYONE!! Kids and adults should really take advantage and make use of your public library. People "read" too much on their phones/devices. I've been saying, for years, books will soon be extinct, and then what!?! That would be a sad day, to not have anymore documented text/reading material. 24 Hour Library…read more Kresge has been my dwelling place for late nights of cramming. The library has wonderful amenities that are available for students as well as guests. I love the interlibrary loan and the writing resources for students. The library website can be the best resource a hard-working student can have. Library OneSearch is a new search engine that features everything from the library catalog and other library databases. OneSearch also includes scholarly content publishers and view results ranked by relevance. The library is now open 24/5 for OU Students from Sunday through Thursday and closes at 2 on Fridays and Saturdays.

Great library. Much smaller than the one I usually go to. They have conputer areas with time…read morelimits. The basement has a community room for groups. They also have a lot of activities and classes throughout the months for adults, teens, and children. Each activity lists the age requirements and a mini memo on what will occur during the session. Some require you to reserve a spot and most are walk-in. All events are free through the library, which is awesome. It's a great way to meet people in the community. Library cards are free as well. The only time you would have to pay is if you are overdue on a book, movie, etc. They do charge for that, but are understanding for those that are forgetful. Once, they took off the amount I owed because I was a day late and got my days mixed up.

Today was a dreary, rainy, cold day here in Michigan; what a better way to while away the day by visiting a cute, quaint library located near the water. This small, yet fully functioning, library is located in downtown New Baltimore, MI. You can walk to a park located on Lake St. Clair or visit nearby antique stores, eateries and mom & pop shops. Mom requires a transporter when there is a lot of walking. I was able to use the ramps to get her in and out of the building but there were scooters inside or big comfy chairs for her to sit in. It's a smaller library so I can see where it would be difficult to store a scooter but a nice comfy chair here and there would be a good addition. There was a main section of the library, a friends of the library store and a children's/teen section. The personnel were friendly and helpful. Bonus, they have a room in the back where you can do crafts such as quilting. Take a stroll down New Baltimore and this library and you will feel the stress leave you.
