My experience with Allison Days Pediatrics was extremely upsetting and, in my opinion, completely unacceptable. I felt that I was intentionally spoken to in a verbally abusive, condescending, and insulting manner. I was subjected to bold statements questioning my intelligence and my ability to understand information. As a parent advocating for my children, I found this treatment degrading and deeply inappropriate. I was also given information regarding communication with my pharmacy that I believe was false or inconsistent with what actually occurred. When a medical practice provides conflicting or inaccurate information about something as important as prescriptions and pharmacy communication, it seriously undermines trust. Even more disturbing, I was accused of emotionally abusing my own children. I completely reject that accusation. I found it deeply offensive and extremely distressing to have my character and parenting questioned in this way. Parents should be able to ask questions, seek clarification, disagree with a provider, and advocate for their children without being insulted, belittled, or subjected to serious accusations. Based on my personal experience, I strongly encourage prospective patients and parents to proceed with caution and carefully consider whether they feel this practice will treat them with the respect, professionalism, and communication they deserve. I am posting this review so other parents can make an informed decision before placing their children's care and their trust in this practice. I also do have audio recordings of all conversations and have made reports to medical board.

I was sold hearing aids that were never properly explained to me, including the return policy. From the beginning, I repeatedly told Dr. Zambrano that the hearing aids were making my life miserable and that I hated wearing them. Instead of listening to my concerns or suggesting I return them, I was constantly told to "keep wearing them." The hearing aids caused me daily pain and made my tinnitus unbearable. When I brought this up, all I was told was, "It shouldn't be doing that," yet nothing was ever done to actually help resolve the problem or improve the situation. What's even worse is that I had to seek opinions from a different audiologist, and he confirmed the hearing aids I was prescribed can actually make my hearing worse. Appointments were difficult to get unless I personally called and pushed for follow-ups, and at no point did I feel like my well-being was the priority. This experience left me feeling ignored, frustrated, and taken advantage of. If you value honest care and your quality of life, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

His SLP, Ms. Annette Barron, reported that my son had bitten her and that his behavior had become aggressive over the course of three weeks. He was then discharged from speech therapy after the owner claimed to have had a multidisciplinary meeting with Diego's OT and Feeding Therapist. We were called in for a meeting where the owner mentioned that since speech therapy was a structured environment, Diego would need to have his behaviors addressed first. However, the discharge was final. There was no opportunity to seek medication or involve the parent in the goal-setting process, which was one of my struggles with the center. The owner offered support to my son's school therapist but did not attempt to build the capacity of her SLP, Ms. Annette. We followed the suggestions of the SLP by not observing his sessions and changing his time as recommended by Ms. Annette, only to later be told that we did not participate in his sessions and that he would thrive with OT followed by speech. The challenges arose as we advocated to see more growth in our son since he was thriving in school. Following the recommendation of his pediatrician, we dropped my son from all programs, and he is now thriving at his new center. Many of the reviews on this page are at the request of the center. The therapists will continuously ask for positive reviews. If you have a challenging situation with your kids, want to be part of the goal-setting process, or have the utmost respect for your child's physician, then this is not the place for you. They will continuously assert that the doctor is not the expert or professional in their area. As a leader in education, all I can do is inform the parents I work with about the experiences we had. Not all the therapists are unethical, but at least in my son's interaction with Ms. Annette, it was.

After a few weeks, I was able to get her breast feeding. That lasted a few months up until she was reaching her 1st birthday. We started having bad latching episodes. Long story short, after insisting that something isn't right, and my motherly intuition & google photos, my daughter was finally diagnosed with lip, tongue and cheek ties. After changes of physicians, both dental and primary, we somehow got into paths with New Beginnings. We contacted and met with Kendra, whom we shared our long detailed story. She was very kind and made me feel not only heard, but she genuinely cared for my little girl's treatment plan/evaluation. She is kind, gentle, informative, professional and understanding. She even offers weekend appointments which is incredibly important for us to also include dad in on this journey. It's very important for both of us to be present and learn. Kendra is an accredited, educated speech pathologist and I feel confident in her ability to treat our children and get them the help they need. New beginnings has a waitlist and I'm sure Kendra is on a team full of educated, special health professionals! I am currently going to be placing ourselves on the waitlist for another (new eval) since I am so impressed with Kendra and New Beginnings.

It's frustrating with waiting but then again they are fighting with insurance and giant X-ray scanner type machines that may not always cooperate. They offer a free water fountain and have a waiting room to that's usually set to the cooking network. Check in staff seem smart but frustrated but who can blame them. You check in and deal with insurances and what not then you wait to be called back. After being called back you go into which ever area you need whether it's Mri, X-ray, ultrasound, etc and work with the staff in charge of that section. Once you get called back it's much easier and faster and you get out sooner.
