Went through my medical past asked all of right questions inorder to get a practical treatment plan inplace that would benefit me health wise for the future . Offered me practical health advise that would'nt cost me any out of pocket cash on expensive medications that I could do on my own. Very short wait time from reception to seeing the Nurse Practitioner. I ran out of life saving medication on the weekend after my appointment , called the office on Monday for some samples until I received my new perscription. Fifteen minutes after my call , I had 6 bottles of samples which would last me about a month were waiting for me at the front desk. Yes it is true I havent had an appointment with the Chief Physician of the practice Dr. Douglas Alorgbey but he is the person that approved or hired all of the people that work with in the practice which means to me he must be a well respected Physician that is looked up to as a leader in the medical profession. A week before, I had obtained my blood test orders and gone to Quest Diagnostics at (06:00), where Lluvia efficiently made the draw and later faxed the results to Dr. Munoz. I got over my initial shock upon seeing a former colleague, Carmen, who was accompanying her husband; my pleasure was doubled to meet receptionist Lulu, an exceptionally friendly professional who quickly got me in. She surprised me a bit at her magnificent ability, considering the large waiting room was rather full of patients (only a portion of whom were to see Dr. Munoz). I was taken aback slightly upon meeting Dr. Munoz, anticipating that he would shower me with good news about the results. Although all my numbers looked good, he was a bit grim about my white cell count--until I told him that I had donated platelets at UBS. To be on the safe side, he gave me a follow-up draw orders, not to be completed for at least a week, giving my bones time to make new blood. He also understood why I moved a bit slowly--my orthopaedist, Dr. Urrea, had told me a decade ago that I had premature arthritis, and now it is MATURE arthritis. Regardless that my knee is a bit gamey, I can still pedal. Indeed, I participated in the Rio Bravo segment of the international Chupacabra bike race held just South across the river, in Cd. Juarez, Mexico, Saturday. Talk about a great event; even better was my unwitting participation! Anyway, if you need superior primary care, you can certainly get it here, especially from Dr. Munoz. Horrible. They…read morestarted off pretty good, but apparently knew injury laws better than I did. I had a car accident approximately two years ago and worked with a horrible law firm that I hired right after I was "bird dogged" which is just like ambulance chasing. Unlawful, but because the event had just happened I just accepted their services. They knew that two years on a case was the maximum time frame I could go on this claim even though I had referrals to two specialists that I was never able to see. The first an orthopedic surgeon who agreed that I required surgery on my right knee. I could never get "permission" to get this done, and according to the Injury Specialist this exacerbated my back issues and has now caused a left knee issue due to compensation of the skeletal and muscle structure. The second referral never happened. I finally made contact with this ambulance chasing lawyer's office and they informed me that Denise from this office called them telling them that I have not been compliant with their treatments. Not true at all. They were being scheduled so frequently I was having issues getting off work for them. Please remember that this accident happened approximately two years ago. Denise of this office supposedly followed up with referrals but I never received any correspondence to unanswered questions. I recently requested a call back from her but have yet to hear from her, this was just this Monday. She apparently contacted the "attorney" and told them to settle the case. Again, this all goes against what the MRI's show, that there is damage to my knee and back. Very disappointed as I'd originally given this office a very high review. Hindsight.

Unfortunately, the front desk experience ruined everything. The receptionist, who spends her time browsing Pinterest on the company computer, was rude and unhelpful. She made it extremely difficult to schedule an appointment, and that should have been my first red flag. She even canceled my appointment, blaming it on Tricare's new referral system. In reality, everything had already been submitted correctly, but their billing department mishandled it. To make things worse, she later called me accusing me of missing the very appointment that she herself had canceled. This was nothing but unnecessary chaos. It seems they want everything handed to them without doing their job, and patients end up paying the price. I feel bad for Miss Roth, but hiring someone like this at the front desk is a huge mistake. They don't work well with Tricare. Save yourself the headache and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
