I came down with strept throat-- I couldn't get in to see my doctor because Im not gonna pay for his "premium package" -- Im really careful about going to other doctors because you can get slammed with extra costs and unnecessary outta pocket expenses that insurance won't cover. I called these folks and they said my cost would be my 25.00 deductible for Blue Cross. I was in and out in just about 1 hour. It was a fast visit with no fuss or driving to Dallas! I liked how this went-- we shall see what happens in the next 3 weeks if they send another bill! Or it remains just 25.00 co-pay. Yet this was a good experience and fast! No screwing around

I brought my mother to CHRISTUS Urgent Care in Sulphur Springs after she slipped and fell and was…read moreconcerned she may have injured her knee. Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, Christy at the front desk was rude and unprofessional toward my mother. That kind of attitude is unacceptable, especially when someone is already hurt, worried, and coming in for medical help. Heather, the nurse who took my mother's vitals and asked what brought us in, was kind and professional, and I do want to acknowledge her for that. The visit became even more frustrating when the nurse practitioner came in and told us they did not have an x-ray machine on site. We were also told he would not order an MRI or outpatient imaging for her knee, even though it was Saturday and her primary care physician's office was closed. We were not expecting miracles, but we did expect a more helpful plan, better guidance, or some direction on how to get her properly evaluated. I understand that urgent care facilities have limitations, but patients should still leave feeling like their concerns were taken seriously. Between the poor front-desk experience, the lack of imaging availability, and the lack of helpful next steps, this visit left us feeling dismissed and frustrated. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location. What made the experience even more frustrating is that we later found another urgent care that was willing to evaluate the injury further and help with imaging options. That tells me we were not asking for anything unreasonable -- we were simply trying to get proper care after a fall.

I recently moved to Texas after being with the same doctor in Florida for seven years. I had all of my medical records transferred, including my history with anxiety, panic disorder, depression, and severe sleep issues. Over the past year, I have gone through significant life events, including the loss of both parents and a divorce, making consistent and reliable care especially important. From the beginning, communication with this office has been difficult. I have called numerous times seeking assistance and often felt dismissed. When I asked if the doctor could return my call, I was told she "doesn't usually call patients back," which was discouraging given my situation. There have also been ongoing issues with my medications. Initially, I was only prescribed my antidepressant despite providing my full medical history. At one point, I lost my antidepressant and contacted the office to request a refill in order to avoid withdrawal symptoms. I was told by staff that Lexapro is a controlled substance and could not be refilled, which is untrue. Overall, the level of support and clarity provided has been inconsistent. I understand that policies and regulations exist, and I am willing to follow appropriate steps. However, the lack of communication and professionalism has made it difficult to receive proper care. I will be seeking care elsewhere. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in communication, staff training, and patient support--especially for those managing serious mental health conditions.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my review on google. Unfortunately, your reply has…read moreadded to the discomfort of my experience rather than helping to resolve it. As someone who works in management and customer service, I was hoping for a professional, empathetic, and apologetic response that acknowledged my concerns. Instead, the tone of the response felt defensive and dismissive, which was disappointing. My original review was written professionally and with the intention of voicing my experience in hopes of constructive improvement. I have nothing personal against anyone at the clinic. However, being met with hostility rather than understanding does not reflect the level of care, respect, or professionalism patients should expect--especially in a healthcare setting where feeling safe, heard, and respected is essential. I would also like to clarify the statement regarding my insurance. I was very clearly informed that I was waiting due to a clean room, not because of insurance-related issues. Referencing my insurance instead of acknowledging this miscommunication further demonstrates a lack of accountability. Additionally, mentioning having a biracial child does not negate or invalidate my experience. While representation and inclusivity are important, that statement raised additional concern, as it does not address the issue at hand and should not be used as a defense against a patient's lived experience. There are many free and accessible resources available that offer guidance on responding to reviews from a professional, business-oriented perspective rather than from a place of personal emotion. Utilizing such tools could help ensure future responses are constructive and aligned with best practices in patient care and customer service. I am sharing this feedback not out of malice, but in hopes that the clinic will reflect, take accountability, and move forward in a way that ensures all patients feel understood, respected, and safe.

I would honestly rate them 100/10. They were attentive, kind, and made a very difficult situation much easier. While my overall stay had some challenges -- particularly with response times and delays in assistance at certain points -- it seemed like this may have been related to staffing levels rather than the individuals themselves. I also experienced some concerns around discharge timing while I was still dealing with significant pain, weakness, dizziness, and fluctuating blood pressure, though I ultimately stayed longer due to a heart-related issue. One small note: food delivery was often delayed, so ordering ahead may help. Overall, the standout staff I mentioned above truly made a difference in my experience, and I'm very grateful for the care they provided.

The Good: Nearly every nurse I had was personable, knowledgeable, and willing to answer my questions. I'm not great at remembering all the names, but almost the entire staff on the 4th floor of the Houston tower were just phenomenal. Also, when I was admitted, I was on a "cardiac diet" that was from an incident from many years ago, but I was also cleared for outside food (imagine not being able to get a packet of salt from the cafeteria, but I could order Whataburger if I wanted to.) I appreciate that the lady working at Food Services took the time to call around and find out what was up, and get it fixed so that it reflected my actual health needs. Also, the paramedics who transported me were kind, skilled, and calming. The Bad: I had one nurse by the name of Annabelle who did not flush my IV for a full day, leading to it needing to be replaced, and who would not get the charge nurse. During my last IV antibiotic infusion of her shift, I told her it was painful (it shouldn't have been) and she told me the IV was probably just tired, then left for an hour and didn't come back to check on me, just left it going. She also basically manhandled me, rather than allowing me to move my own pajama sleeve out of the way, pulling on my IV and causing additional stress.

You will not be able to submit any records of your treatment to your insurance company because they will not give you any. They will charge you hundreds and hundreds if not thousands of dollars for a couple of hours of "treatment" and then refuse to give you any record of it. When your insurance company states that your treatment would indeed be covered if a patient submits records, this outfit upon insistence will send you only an "encrypted" message that supposedly contains the records, however you will be unable to open the message DESPITE MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS and will thus have no idea what it says. This is clearly an attempt to obscure whatever so-called "treatment" was rendered and is nothing but a cover-their-asses tactic. I have never encountered such disgraceful, appalling, shameful business ethics or a more hateful business operation in my many decades of life. STAY FAR FAR AWAY.
