He came into the room, murmured his name, didn't acknowledge anyone, not even me as the patient. As a matter of fact, his back was turned to me the entire 3 minutes he was in the room. He didn't know if it was me on the bed or someone else...never asked my name only, "what's wrong with you?" I was in so much pain. He is insensitive, rude, unprofessional, and does not need to be in the Healthcare profession. My coworker and aunt were in the room as well. My coworker asked if they could check my glucose because I had gotten lightheaded. He typed something on the computer and then looked at her and said, "anything else?" I then asked if I could get something for the pain if it wasn't too much of a bother. At that point I felt like I was in an inconvenience for him. I asked the nurse if there was another doctor on duty, but she said patients can't change doctors. I was in too much pain to go somewhere else. I also plan to file a complaint with the CEO and/or hospital's president. He slammed the door on his way out without saying what would be done.

The Oncology Department is over the top fabulous. The nurses give the best care your could ever…read morehope for. They are the most loving and caring. If you have to go through chemo treatment WKHS is the only place. Unfortunately the radiology department is the complete opposite. The staff lacks compassion, caring, and have no overall people skills. The treatment area is not well maintained. There are burned out light bulbs so it's dark and depressing. There are no good magazines to read. There are always bags of dirty laundry and trash in the hall. I shared my feelings with my radiologist and nothing changed, which was disappointing. I'm so tired of being yelled at by the radiology technicians. Can't wait till I'm finished with my treatments.
