Dr. Jonathan Davis is my cardiologist, and no, he's not the lead singer of Korn but he's 20 times cooler!! And he's one of the best cardiologists in the state! He totally takes the fear and anxiety out of the whole heart process. I am so happy to have Dr. Davis looking after my heart for the rest of my life! He is as nice as he is knowledgeable and his assistants and nurses are outstanding health professionals as well!! The best!! And they are in a sweet new suite #112 in the Highland Clinic! The entrance faces Millicent Way! It's all new and clean and renovated!

Five different, local Ophthamologists had various diagnoses for worsening symptoms. The symptoms…read morebegan with cloudy vision and progressed to the point that the discharge, discomfort and inability to keep my eyes open severely impacted my quality of life. I was unable to drive, lost depth perception, and balance issues became part of a constant challenge. When a local (Gulf Coast of Mississippi) Optometrist referred me to Ophthamologist #6. he performed many in depth tests and was confident the problem was mechanical. He told us the best he knew was in Shreveport, LA. We were able to get an appointment with Dr. Vekovius in a reasonable amount of time. During that visit and with thorough testing, he confirmed the diagnosis as mechanical. He offered the solution of surgery with confidence. He explained the procedure. His very caring and knowledgeable staff supported all of the testing and coordination to facilitate this long distance. The results have been remarkable.
