I was a long time patient of Newsome, there was a time that he "seemed" to really listen. He even…read moreused me to teach interns one-on-one care of patients with rare diseases. He was open to treatment options I brought to the table and even used them with other patiants. Unfortunetly, he turned to invasive practices that would have a much higher insurance pay out regardless of the risk to me, including temporary parilization that almost cost me my job. Then came his legal problems that lost him the majority of his practice and forced the AMA to get involved. He is now only available one day a month (he sets the time for 10AM and he might finally call at 7PM). He has stopped paying rent on his practice, he has 5 differant numbers that no longer work and now I do not have access to any of my medical records so I can go to another pain doctor. I have also discovered he has not submitted any claims in over a year, leaving me with a mess to clean up to proove that I have met my $3600 OOP costs before I can finally have a much needed surgery. Bottom line this doctor is on the verge of loosing his license due to his own behavior.

First and foremost, the office staff as well as the doctor himself is very professional and communicative! They are courteous and friendly. This one thing never wavers and that is super important to me. Next, the office itself is modern, clean and feels very comfortable. It is located in Keller, and I live in Dallas, so I do have a commute. But, with the quality of his care, I'll take the drive any day! I have been to top ranking doctors for pain management and therapy. However, they are short lived because they donot listen to their patient. Patients were treated like numbers. Dr. Newsome actually listens. He has an intelligent answer ready for you or he will find it out and follow up! His treatment is better! Previously, so-called "top ranking" pain management physicians had treated me with meds and injections. It helped me a little, but each time I received injections, some adverse reactions occurred. For me, it was waking up and standing up, only to fall flat on my face!!! I was temporarily paralyzed during the last time I saw that doctor. For three (3) days I couldnt walk. I depended on my teenage son for everything. And, that doctor, said "Oh, yeah, that happens sometimes!" I was scared and refused to go back to him. In the beginning I shot down Dr. Newsome's idea to try injections in his facility. But I hurt so bad that medicine alone wasnt numbing the pain by itself. So,I tried injections with him, and viola...like majic it worked perfectly!!! No adverse affects, very minimal pain afterwards and it's been awesome! I was walking and working out the next day! I am never afraid to try anything he suggests! I am so thankful he's my doctor. My doctor is reachable, courteous and caring! One other thing I'd like to mention....Not only does he help alleviate the pain, he discusses root causes! He is EXCELLENT when it comes to fitness and nutrition! Everytime I go, he has helpful suggestions and life hacks that are doable and produces results! It is important to address root cause as well as treat you for your pain. Our health is our wealth, Dr. Newsome recognizes that and really caters to his patient! He has an uncanny ability to meet his patient wherever they are in life! I found Dallas Pain Consultants in 2021 when trying to get chronic pain under control via injections (not medications). Since early 2021, I've spent a copious amount of phone time with Rachael and others office staff discussing insurance coverage, procedure details, etc. I now prefer to talk directly with Rachael (lucky her, haha) as she is unfailingly patient, knowledgeable, and clear in her explanations. She doggedly follows up with my insurance company (specifically having issues with them repeatedly rejecting authorization for a needed/supposedly covered future procedure), and keeps me in the loop anytime progress is made. I remember apologizing to her for bugging her with a new insurance question recently and she said something like "this is literally what I'm here for, I am glad to help!". She has always been warm, kind, and exceedingly helpful. If I could hire her to field questions for my own business, I would in a heartbeat! Dr. Mirchandani has taken care of me for multiple trigger point injections and 1 neck injection under anesthesia at a McKinney surgery center. Since Dr. Mirchandani floats between DFW locations, I've been to a few different DPC offices to ensure I am able to get in with him. He excels at taking into account your personal medical history when developing the most likely effective treatment plan for managing pain. I don't just feel like a number with him as he seems genuinely invested in helping me have better quality of life/be in less pain. He can be concise or comprehensive in answers to questions, depending on what is needed. He is quick but is also patient, and visits do not feel rushed. At every appointment, Dr. Mirchandani has been calming, grounded, considerate, and professional. I appreciate the high level of care both of them always provide. They are amazing at what they do, and I am grateful to have found them!

Her assistant even went so far as to provide me with a direct phone number for her so I could call if I needed any additional help. I also found I was being charged much more for procedures I was having compared to other pain management physicians. Don't waste your time or money - don't get caught in the Jekyl and Hyde scam.
