Went today w children ages 5, 10 and 14. All had a really good time although I think the 10 year old was at the age to enjoy it the best. The place was very clean and staff was super helpful and friendly. I wish them success and I hope they continue to stay clean and friendly. read more

The first thing I noticed upon arriving were the staff. A lovely woman greeted me upon signing the waiver & welcomed us . I noticed a lot of the employees seemed to be younger kids (teens). I spoke with a lovely student from lane tech who lives in the midway area. I thought it was amazing to see a young lady in school and working on top of making that commute every day . If that's not driven I don't know what it.. I applaud this business for creating employment for the youth. What I can say is the only bad part about this place is the customers you find . On my first visit I literally whitenesses how rude and disrespectful a lot of these "upper class" people are.. a women got crazy out her mouth with a child, customers made rude comments to employees, parents looked at the younger minority employees while they assisted their children as if they were going to hurt their child. I heard a father make a racial slur . So let's just say this, If you have a issue being around minorities or younger adults trying to make a living then this place is not for you. I have to call out this place for it's horrible general Manager Stephen(whatever his name is) and Party planner. The potential is there but the customer service is not. The fact that I've contacted them over 10x says it all! No avail, not contacting back, not emailing back, no intake I decided to go with jumpZone instead. The general manager was so snooty and disrespectful to me & my child. He said verbatim after me telling HIM THIS, And I quote.. " You can take your party and your child and go somewhere else". So I did calmly, instead of paying $600+ I chose to let him know that there should be an accommodation[Book on the weekend/ Sing Happy Birthday twice] (Not a discount as He assumed) for the fact of the past two weeks I've been reaching out to them and no one has contacted me back as he promised yesterday, this morning, someone would reach out to me and now it's 6 PM , no one did and I've been calling incessantly. I have never in my life seen such a nasty place and it's nasty attitude of a manager... normally these people are in place to adhere to those issues and stay on top of it, being professional. Instead He was rude and disgusting to customers that feed good kids and fat salary ?!?!?? I will be sure to contact channel 7 news and make sure They hear about this. Customer service and professionalism is everything and just because you're a general manager doesn't give you the right to be mean, disrespectful and inhuman. This place can be great if it was more organized. First, we came for a birthday party. Saw a sign directing us to go in another line. The person at the desk didn't know the name of the party and left. We stood there for another 10min waiting, so I asked another person about the party. He pointed to a whiteboard across the way that showed the name of the parents and the party rooms. No one even checked if we signed their waiver. So, we just go to the room...no one is directing us on what are the next steps. After 20min of getting a harness, the instructors teach the kids, not the parents, in how to attach the harnesses. These are kids that are 6 yrs old...wouldn't you think you should teach the parents too if we're the ones who have to supervise them?? Then, we go to this area called the Sky Trail. We stand in a line meant for birthday guests. The instructors ignored us for a while until I asked them when they'll attend to us. He said we would have to stand in the other line...I told him, then what's with this sign for birthday guests?? He said, oh right. Took my daughter and took off her original harness to put another one on...then tells us she needs to be accompanied by an adult. I can't go, so we asked if they can help put her original harness on...he said someone else can help us. What? The sign for the rules is in an area that is not visible when you're standing in line. Later, another mother asked to use my daughter's harness cuz they ran out...what?! Don't give up your harness cuz you'll have to wait again. Then, there's no one really walking around for possible assistance in the climbing area to help. This place has potential...but not coming back here anytime soon. read more

This place is well built and the kids love it. However, they hire a bunch of teens to run this place and they are clueless on how to resolve issues, or actually manage a business. Each staff follows a different set of rules. If you want to do the high ropes course, they check the height of the kids...sometimes. While some of the staff will let small kids go alone, others will not. Half the staff is too busy messing around, on their phone, or flirting with each other instead of working. A place for kids should have attentive adults working. The food is overpriced and salty. The beers were expired when they first opened and when I mentioned it, they didn't care and continued to sell it for months. They didn't even offer a refund. How do you have expired beer when you just opened? Where did you get those drinks? I question if anything else they serve is expired. The people working in the kitchen are clueless as well. They don't know who's food is who's and walk around looking for a number that doesn't even exist. So what do they do? Just give the food away or make it again. The bathrooms are often times filthy on busy days. One time an older lady who was either an owner or manager walked around asking people if they needed anything or how they were doing, but she was never to be seen beyond that day. Not a fan- my daughter got a bad scrape on her hand in soft play area when bigger kids knocked her over, nobody at front desk cared. Took five minutes to get a band aid and then had to ask for manager to get incident report. No hot food until 12.30 so kids beyond hungry- they said no outside food so I didn't bring snacks. Kept telling me it would open so it didn't run out either. Management doesn't really care, just looked at me like i was annoying. Good part is staff on ground are very helpful around climbing walls and my kids liked the climbing part. No way I am coming back unless it's a birthday party!! read more

My child was on the high ropes and got frightened, Terrell walked over to me immediately and asked if I wanted him to help her down. He showed us the quickest way to get down and he even stayed in the area in case we needed help. At a different time when we were having trouble disengaging from the ropes, Terrell jumped right over to help. He was so happy and friendly to everyone in the establishment, the level of professionalism shown by Terrell is a rarity in this day and age. Not much to do on a Monday, so we decided to check this place out for the first time. The idea is really cool and the place is nice. However by the time we decided to rest from climbing the walls the Ropes Course was closing which also meant we couldn't zip line. The owner stated that the store hours were listed on the door. Regardless isn't it customer service to let the customers know that the Ropes Course close early, which isnt written on the door. He only offered a $12 refund for first time customers. No apologies, no complimentary passes just an eye roll because his employees closed the Ropes course early and $12 "seems fair" read more

Food wait times are ridiculous. If you can't make quick food then don't offer hot food, stick to non-cook snacks. Waited over 30 minutes 2 times for nuggets. Complained to a manager who then went and made the food himself. It's not the fault of the lone person cooking it's a management issue. read more

Such a fun place with kids. Very safe and accessible and full of activities. We bought the package that included e everything from climbing to bumper cars to laser tag. So many attractions that there weren't any significant lines. The cafe isn't bad, either! read more

I took a group on 9 boys ages 7-10 and they loved this place. Very entertaining, lots of fun and good exercise! So many options, laser tag, bumper cars, zip lining, climbing, obstacle course, and even arcade games with tickets to with prizes. You can stay in this place for hours. We just had THE BEST birthday party at ClimbZone Chicago! as soon as we walked in, we were in the hands of a party host who took such good care of all the details & was so great with the staff. The climbing walls are so fun & there is a lot of variety. My 12-year-old son & his friends had the best time playing laser tag also. The facilities are clean, safe & open. The pizza we had with the party was delicious & plenty. The party host took care of every detail, but spent most of his time ensuring the kids had a great time. All the staff were helpful & attentive. Special shout out to the manager, Lawrence (I think) who helped me out with a small problem. He was kind, patient & made us feel welcome. I threw my daughter's 8th birthday party at ClimbZone. She and her friends LOVED IT!!!! I was having a particularly rough day as I had 2 funerals that day that I had to attend prior to the party. I was beyond frazzled by the time I arrived. The general manager Lawrence was an amazing help. He was accommodating and compassionate. A true God send that day. My baby's party was a success and I was delighted with the service that I received. The space was not overcrowded like some of these centers can often be. The facility was clean. I definitely recommend you try this family fun center the next time you want to take the kiddos out. read more
