They also patched two holes we had in the wall from a prior water leak that we did not realize that plumbers will tear your wall up but not fix it. We were not aware of this before hand and would have gone to them as they do everything and left our plumbers out as it would have cost the same price in the end. Over all the doors were installed and matched to bedroom frame out with the arches and the paint on all the walls matched to where you cannot tell what is the old paint and what is the new. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!…read more They do not go through insurance and grossly overcharge compared to industry standards, therefore insurance won't pay their rates and you will be stuck with the bill. We even know the owners personally and they still screwed us over, so imagine what they would do to you if you don't know them.... This was our first experience with a home insurance claim for water damage and John, whom we attend church with, coached us not to contact our insurance until their job was done, pay them as soon as they removed the last piece of equipment, and submit the receipt to insurance and insurance would pay us back. He said we would maybe have to push a little and send a few emails, but 100% of their customers have had insurance pay in full. He lulled us into a false sense of security, and add on top of this our trust in him because of knowing him personally, we believed him. BIG MISTAKE. We paid him upfront over $12,000 cash and insurance said the job was only valued at a little over $8000 so that's all they reimbursed us for, putting us out $4500! My insurance tried contacting them multiple times to have them explain the excessive charges, they ignored their calls. After speaking to John myself, Jeff finally answered my adjusters call who explained some charges, and John contacted me after saying my insurance agreed to pay the rest of the bill. ANOTHER LIE! I later found out from my insurance that my adjuster never said that and he would still not be paying on the full amount because it was outrageous compared to what it should be. John admitted to me on the phone how they hide extra charges into the cost of a fan or else insurance wouldn't pay them, which is what makes it look expensive to insurance, yet they won't be honest with the insurance companies about what costs they are hiding hoping insurance will just pay it. But then when insurance doesn't pay it because to them it looks like they are charging 4x industry standards for the cost of a fan it just bites the homeowner instead! In the end, I requested a refund from Rainy Day the difference and John brushed me off telling me to hire a public adjuster to continue to fight my insurance. He offered to pay up to $500 for their fee, but we would still likely pay much more than that because of the size of our claim as a whole and we don't want to risk losing even more money when insurance will most likely still say no. This whole thing could have been avoided if we chose a company that went through insurance, learn from our mistake! I have many many more grievances with the way this company took advantage of us and hurt us not just financially, but emotionally and mentally as well, but my point is DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Also, these good reviews are padded with people they know or who have worked for them. The review with the dishwasher leak and pictures is the owners own kitchen, and he didn't even pay a dime for it because he told me his business ate the cost of his repairs. Guess my $4500 will go to his company funds for his next remodel......

ZERO STARS!!!!…read more BEWARE OF SERVPRO! We had some soot on the walls and ceiling in 2 rooms from candles we burned at Christmas. I called SERVPRO who sent someone to evaluate the damage and provide an estimate. He assured me that SERVPRO works with smoke damage regularly and that he felt they would be able to remove the soot. I agreed to have SERVPRO complete the work and paid half up front (nearly $200). They sent out a team of people who quickly demonstrated to me that their cleaning products would not removed the soot. They recommended that I paint. They did some light cleaning around doors and light switches (that I could have easily cleaned myself) just to do something. I tipped the crew well in cash when they left. It was not their fault they did not have the equipment necessary to complete the job as I had been led to believe they would. They could not remove the 2 major areas of concern for which I had hired them and had been reassured would be no problem. For this reason I requested a price adjustment. I offered to pay the difference to $200 total, which I felt was twice the value of the work they actually completed. They discounted my bill $50. I called back several times but was only able to speak to someone when they reached out to me for the balance. At that time I realized how their pricing scheme works. The largest part of their charge is for the crew so you can't dispute it. They line item only a few dollars for each area so they lose very little if they cannot complete the planned work. The next morning I received an email threatening legal action if I did not pay the balance. We are honest people who work hard for our money and pay our bills. I was extremely offended. I CAN CONFIDENTLY TELL YOU THAT THEY CANNOT REMOVE A CHRISTMAS SEASON'S WORTH OF CANDLE SOOT FROM WALLS. It is unlikely they can clean the other extensive restoration they claim. BEWARE OF SERVPRO!

If you are considering spending thousands of dollars with this company - please take the time to…read moreread this review. PLEASE DO NOT spend your money with this company. If this review helps one person choose a better company, then it has done its job. Also, please take note that any good reviews this company has, are over 2 years old (I did not realize that at first). We chose Breath Pure to do our mold remediation and reconstruction. We had D'Andre quote us traditional remediation (pulling up our floors and cleaning the existing subfloor) as well as pulling up our flooring, old subfloor, and replacing the subfloor. D'Andre was very responsive and helpful at first, and we ultimately went with the subfloor replacement option. We signed the contracts, paid 50% up front and got scheduled (quoted 7-10 days). That is where our good experience ended. - Our start date got pushed out the night before by one day - not a huge deal as we could still be back in our house by thanksgiving but still a waste of a day in Airbnb fees. - The next day, Tuesday, the "crew"... 1 guy... had a flat tire and did not show up until noon and still only worked until 5pm. Now we are 1 1/2 days behind.... IT GETS MUCH WORSE - We have cameras on our house and could see as the two people who were now working on our house were taking 3.5-hour lunch breaks, showing up very late, or just sitting in the van for an hour. D'Andre was unresponsive until I asked for someone above him to speak to about my concerns. He assured me they would work over the weekend and that we would be ready for post clearance testing by Monday. No one showed up at all over the weekend, and D'Andre did not respond when I let him know this. Monday, D'andre said to move post testing to Tuesday as they would be ready by then, and one guy showed up at 9:30am, loaded up equipment, and left. - I called the corporate phone number and Mike McDowell took over. This is now two days before thanksgiving, and we have no hope of being back in our house by the holiday. By the time the new actual crew was ready for post testing, which I had to keep rescheduling with the mold consultant, it was Thursday 12/2. They left visible mold growth on a bathroom wall from behind a baseboard. Our mold protocol stated if there was mold behind baseboards to cut two feet up the sheetrock. Breath Pure did not come back until Monday 12/6 at night to remove sheetrock. They also wanted to charge us an additional $1100 and would not do more work until we approved because sheet rock removal was not in our quote. - We finally got full clearance on Friday 12/10 and they were going to start the new subfloor the next day. They were having an electrician install it that does framing on the side to be cheap. They were also going to use 1/2 inch osb roof sheeting to be cheap, even though our contract stated subfloor which would indicate tongue and groove sheeting. They also were not going to be using subfloor adhesive, only nails. My husband let them know it needed to be done right and approved an additional cost AGAIN. - No work was done on Saturday, no one showed up on Sunday, and still, no one on Monday 12/13. We have tried to contact Mike McDowell and the corporate number multiple times, and no one returns our calls / texts. We paid 50% up front on the subfloor reconstruction and the company has done no work on it and is now unresponsive. - We have paid an additional 6k in VRBO / Airbnb due to this company's delays and had to move 6 times with our 7-year-old daughter. (Availability of Airbnb / vrbo is hard to come by over the holidays). - This company has now pretty much stolen our money and not done the work, ruined our thanksgiving holiday (spent in a hotel because we were told right up until two days before that the house would be done by D'Andre), and now we are coming up on Christmas. - I would like a response from this company or our 50% deposit on the subfloor reconstruction refunded.
