Complimentary charging stations for every kind of phone. What more could you ask for?

My wife and I don't always shoot pool. But when we do, you can usually find us at Clicks Billiards with all the other daisy duke shorts wearing cocktail waitresses. There's nothing NOT to love about this place, in my humble opinion. We've actually been going to this hot spot for years. Only difference from tonight is that it had been a while since we moved back to the area. And we've noticed some rather impressive changes. Like.. A fully digitized juke box which is conveniently connected to the net, courtesy of their rather impressively fast WiFi; an app which controls said juke box so you can search for and cue your favorite songs at will (for a nominal fee); also, complimentary charging stations for virtually every kind of smartphone at various areas throughout the bar. They also offer discounts for law enforcement, military and fire fighters. Bonus! This only further invigorates my high esteem for Clicks. Probably the most remarkable thing about this place is their location...since they also happen to be located right next to a teppanyaki restaurant known as none other than Shogun Steak House (see my review on them later). I was a little disappointed in their music selection, since I wasn't able to find certain songs in their search engine. Apparently, my taste in music is a bit more eccentric than most. Ah well. What about their cue sticks and pool balls, you ask? Exquisite! I always make sure to give each cue stick the "flat roll" test prior to breaking a rack. But very rarely have I ever come across a faulty cue stick in this establishment. You can tell they take their game of pool very seriously. No broken sticks, no missing counterweights on said sticks. And a chalk cube at every table. All in all, this place will always be a consistent revisit for the wife and I whenever we're feeling just limber enough for a friendly game of pool. I highly recommend this location for anyone who lives on this side of El Paso. Yes, you could go anywhere to shoot pool. So, why not here?

A chill place to play pool or even just hang out. The food is limited but nice staff and good service.

Visiting from Az and this place felt familiar. The staff was on point and the crowd was easy going. If I'm in that area I would visit again.

Great place to relax, drink beer, and shoot some pool. Tables are decent for the price.

Good place. Has poker tables in addition to the pool tables. A full service bar supplies the drinks for you and the place is clean.

Cool place to hang out. Pool and drinks at reasonable prices. The crowd is hit or miss but overall it's usually a good experience.

It's listed as a dive bar. But frankly, it's clean and bright. So as I define "dive" - this was not…read moreit. It is small and the liquor selection is beyond limited. So that may be the reason it's listed a a dive bar. If you want a bourbon and Coke or a vodka seven then by all means this is your place. If you want something that requires more than 2 ingredients...keep walking. The drinks were cheap. But really poorly made. My wife asked for a Colorado bulldog. She had been talking about getting one forever. Not only did the bartender have to Google the recipe but he had no coffee liquor and subbed Baileys...uh, ok. My Top shelf vodka martini was half Tito's and half well. I watched him poor it...and I watched him water it down with something from the Coke shooter. You know they aren't keeping Tito's vodka or vermouth in there. There's a jukebox and tiny dance floor but I see more folks just bellying up to the bar here than grooving out on the dance floor. It seemed more a cruise bar and an all day hang out for regulars.

Pros: not too crowded; decent prices; good music playing on the juke box second drink order didn't take as long as the first Cons: no pool table; no darts; Had to ask twice to be closed out before I got my card back and actually closed out. Waited close to 15 min before I was served but only about 14 people total present at the the time of order. Closer to 20 people now (second drink order took less than 5 min extra points for sure!!!!); the regulars here seem close knit and that's awesome! However, I've been here for about an hour and 10 maybe 15 min and each time I interacted with the one bartender-the one that was serving "other-than-regulars--'" and I still feel like the straight person that "doesn't belong." I'm not straight. On a scale of one to five where 1 is the worst "dive" I've been to so far and 5 being the "best" dive I've been too, I gave this place a 2 but I think it would be a 3 if I was still a local and never played pool, darts, or been too a dive where an anon gets the same service as a reg but that's that. I've never been treated like the "unwanted" straight guy either so that was weird... maybe it's an off night. I might come back one more time. MIGHT!!!
