Extremely Disappointing Service After Manager Leaves We play darts at Clicks Billiards every Tuesday. We arrive around 5:00 PM and our match starts at 6:00 PM. For the past three months, we've been consistent regulars. When we arrive, we are always greeted warmly by Maria, the manager. She is professional, attentive, and makes us feel welcome. Unfortunately, once Maria leaves and the next shift takes over, the experience completely changes -- and not for the better. The two bartenders who consistently come on after her do not check on us, do not ask if we need anything, and spend most of their time talking and laughing with each other instead of tending to customers. We tolerated this for a while because this used to be one of the calmest and best places in town to play darts. Tonight was the breaking point. As usual, Maria let us know she was leaving and asked us to close out. After the shift change, I went up to the bar to order drinks for myself, my partner, and friends who came to watch us play. I was met with a rude attitude, no greeting, and a look that clearly said "what do you want?" When I placed my order, I was asked if I had a tab open. I said no -- and then was met with silence and a blank stare, as if I needed to beg just to be served. This isn't a one-time issue. This same poor service is the reason large dart tournaments stopped being held here. In the past, tournaments brought in 60+ players ordering food and drinks all night -- but the service consistently drove people away. At this point, I will not be returning to Clicks, and I will be encouraging fellow dart players to take their leagues and tournaments elsewhere. Management or corporate seriously needs to address the staffing issues during the later shifts. With competent, customer-focused employees, this place could thrive again. At the end of the night while he was getting are drinks he expected a tip even though I would have given him at tip. I know he said last call while we was playing at the pool table he had other people their but yet told us to leave and slam the door behind us while we where walking out and I didn't like the service he gave us and everything I really like this place but didn't want me to come again to be honest. read more

My wife and I don't always shoot pool. But when we do, you can usually find us at Clicks Billiards with all the other daisy duke shorts wearing cocktail waitresses. There's nothing NOT to love about this place, in my humble opinion. We've actually been going to this hot spot for years. Only difference from tonight is that it had been a while since we moved back to the area. And we've noticed some rather impressive changes. Like.. A fully digitized juke box which is conveniently connected to the net, courtesy of their rather impressively fast WiFi; an app which controls said juke box so you can search for and cue your favorite songs at will (for a nominal fee); also, complimentary charging stations for virtually every kind of smartphone at various areas throughout the bar. They also offer discounts for law enforcement, military and fire fighters. Bonus! This only further invigorates my high esteem for Clicks. Probably the most remarkable thing about this place is their location...since they also happen to be located right next to a teppanyaki restaurant known as none other than Shogun Steak House (see my review on them later). I was a little disappointed in their music selection, since I wasn't able to find certain songs in their search engine. Apparently, my taste in music is a bit more eccentric than most. Ah well. What about their cue sticks and pool balls, you ask? Exquisite! I always make sure to give each cue stick the "flat roll" test prior to breaking a rack. But very rarely have I ever come across a faulty cue stick in this establishment. You can tell they take their game of pool very seriously. No broken sticks, no missing counterweights on said sticks. And a chalk cube at every table. All in all, this place will always be a consistent revisit for the wife and I whenever we're feeling just limber enough for a friendly game of pool. I highly recommend this location for anyone who lives on this side of El Paso. Yes, you could go anywhere to shoot pool. So, why not here? read more

This is a great pool hall. There are more tables than I have ever seen outside of Las Vegas. They have poker tables too. They have darts and a golf game. Plenty of things to do. Their beer selection is great and the staff there can't be beat (Ask for Kate as your server. You cannot get a better waitress.). We will definitely be back! read more

Love this place! My friend suggested we go here since they offered discounts for nurses or active duty. Turns out, Ladies night is Thurs night which was coincidentally the same night me and some of my girls were out and about. Perfect! Not one male can be a part of your party tho to get the deal. That night was pretty packed with all the tables occupied but we didnt mind waiting. Not even 5 or 10 mins later, we got a table opened. Sweet! The place had a really clean, professional setting to it. Nothing dingy or unsettling about it, especially for a group of us girls. The drinks were made deliciously and the waitresses came around the room constantly to check up on us which was really nice. Definitely not the typical pool hall/bar setting. How is it that I have not been to Clicks before now?!?!?! Needing a great low key place to just hang out, blow some steam after taking a 5 hour test, and grab a couple of drinks, this place is the spot! First off, the cost to play some eight ball is $5 a person!!! Unlimited time for $5 per person! At first I thought she was telling me each person had to pay $5 and then the hourly rate but NO, its just $5. What a deal! Then if you're military its $5 for the whole table, no matter how many are playing. The area is low key and just the right atmosphere to be able to fall into the shadows and concentrate on perfecting your trigonometry and geometry skills on the green felt! The tables are 8' and are well maintained! No beer spills or other defects noted. The right amount of english will allow you to dominate these tables easily! The staff is good, friendly, and attentive getting you what you need when you need it. Also found out they have daily Texas hold em tournaments that are first come, first sign up for points for the weekend round where you can play for prize money....Hmmmm...think I'll be back on Tuesday! :-) Overall, if you're looking for a place to just relax, hang out with friends, and have a great time on the felt, then head to Clicks...NOW! read more

Last weekend was my first time there and I've been in El Paso for 2 years now. First of all I'd give the food 5 stars because the food was great, not that expensive. Although the drinks were pretty pricey. I was there with a couple of friends and they were ordering drinks but everytime they got billed the drinks were getting more expensive. Our waitress or server was blonde, and at the end of the night as my brother in law was paying for his bill he had crossed out the tip section of the bill because she was recieving tips from all of us. She decided to give herself a 20% tip. And my husbands drinks were more than what she said they cost. I grew up playing pool at this bar with my pops back in the day. It has always been home for me. I wasn't a drinker until my late 20's. This place is a great environment to come have some drinks, shoot pool and grab some bagel bites. The staff seems to rotate quite often but that's the nature of the business. In all my years I have yet to see a fight break out here. Great specials, the jukebox is always playing great tunes. Tuesday's and Wednesday's is Karaoke night! Pool tables are in good shape. This place is by far my favorite pool hall/ bar around. Especially on Thursday's because it free to get a pool table if your military. The atmosphere is real layer back and the staff is super friendly. They food is also really good and the drinks aren't to expensive. So for those reasons I like to consider myself a regular there. read more

I go here to play pool with my wife every now and then and even though she always whoops me in 8ball I enjoy this place a lot better than Border City Ale House. The tables are very clean and the pool cues are all very well taken care of. The service is good as well and the crowd is generally very calm.
