More than just reupholstery, they do any type of custom work that involves fabric, from tablecloths and cushions to pillows and draperies, and so much more! The showroom has a huge inventory of deeply discounted fabric remnants and endless samples of fabrics that can be ordered. Vanessa and her team were so helpful and helped us step outside our comfort zone with chair fabric. We were so happy with the process, we decided to also have a bench upholstered and a pair of draperies made for a spare bedroom. While we are extremely happy with the quality with all three projects, the chairs are the most impressive, due to the complexity involved in the repeat in the fabric. These are highly talented crafts people doing the work. We will return for custom tablecloths and outdoor furniture cushions, and any other fabric related projects!

So I went there seeking to buy two mattress. One a full and the other a custom 3/4 mattress. The…read morelady took me through the selection process - first choosing the mattress by style and then arranging for the size you want. It was quick and easy and she was very helpful. I thought that the beds were really expensive but I also know that they are very well made. my last mattress was less than a thousand but only lasted five years. this one can be flipped and from the reviews seems like it will last much longer. the full was delivered the next day but the 3/4 we put on hold because they needed exact measurements. this bed frame was built in the 1700s when nothing was standard. it took a month and a half before we were ready to have them make it. after they delivered it they sent me a huge bill for an invoice that i had already paid. i was worried about this, because i had paid so far in advance. another company did this to me and they are still sending me bills ten years later and i have to check my credit report constantly and have on cue a legal argument in case they do, because they wound't fix it. these guys fixed the problem right away and apologized for sending me bills for a month. a lot of companies don't do this kind of service anymore and customers fall through the cracks, so for all these reasons i keep my five star rating.

We worked with Jamie, Pam (I think this is the woman working at the front desk - if not, she's great too) and Clyde who did the upholstery. We encountered other employees as well and all were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We weren't sure about the exact material and color we wanted so they presented several options and explained the pros and cons of each material choice. We decided on a medium brown leather. They met every timeline and commitment they made to us. We couldn't be happier with our chairs. The finished product is high quality and fits in perfectly with our snack bar area. I highly recommend this company and I would definitely use them again.

I looked high and low for a place in Sacramento to redo my couch cushions - they all just gouged me in price. My Mom (who lives in Redding) initially found a place but they didn't do it right, so she found Joel Talbert's Upholstery, and after seeing my old cushion cores, he knew exactly what I needed to be able to sit on my cushions without them sinking down to nothing and wrinkling. I've had this couch for 12 years and Joel helped me keep something so valuable to me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your beautiful craftsmanship and talents that went into making these the right kind of firmness like I had just bought it off the showroom floor. If I ever hear anyone needing work done on furniture, I will be recommending you and telling everyone that excellence is worth the drive!
