I called and he gave me a quote and squeezed me in the same day for a small job (about 100 sq feet or less). He kept me updated on when he would arrive (since he squeezed me in last minute) and charged me a very reasonable price. My carpet smells nice and clean, I can't really tell visually since it's a very dark carpet, but I'm already breathing a lot easier. He was very nice and personable and I'm glad I went to someone local who cares so much about customer service! Place looked great, was told that it would be dry in 2-3 hours. Living room was dry, but the carpet on the stairs was still pretty wet about 12 hours later, but our movers weren't coming until the next day so no problem. I'm at work the next day and my wife's family called to tell me that the stairs are still sopping (24 hours later). I called to see if there was anything that could be done about it, as my movers and wife's family are now over there and are kind of stuck. He explained to me how the cleaning process worked and everything, which was great, and explained that usually it took 2-3 hours to dry. He recommended I "get some fans and open the windows," and although he said "I get it's an inconvenience," also did not offer any kind of apology. He asked bluntly "what are you looking for?" Refused any kind of discount, did not offer to bring over fans/blowers (I don't own any of either myself), and was generally unapologetic and told me "I don't have time to argue about this on the phone I have other customers and clients." Nothing wrong with the cleaning itself obviously, (I think, I haven't been able to see the upstairs) and the carpet looked as good as could be expected given the state of it at the start, but I was pretty disappointed by the lack of sympathy or willingness to help after paying hundreds of dollars for a service. *UPDATE* Jason made things right which was hugely appreciated. Very knowledgeable and experienced and would highly recommend.

Working with Absolute Carpet has been absolutely awful. Then it was scheduled for Tuesday 10/22. Nobody showed up Tuesday and when I called they said it was actually scheduled for Wednesday and I must have written it down wrong. Wednesday 10/23 they showed up and cleaned the couch and I venmo'd payment only to get home from work and find dirty water stains on my cream colored couch where they hadn't pulled out all the water correctly. So I texted the number I'd sent the payment through, and got nothing back. I called the next day and was told they'd fit me in that next Tuesday 10/29. Nobody showed up by 4pm so I called again, and was told that if nobody showed up by 5 that Jason, the owner, would personally come clean it on Thursday 10/31. On the 31st I called in the morning to get an ETA on when someone would be there and was told he'd call his guys (again, he had said he would personally come clean it) and get back to me. I have not heard from him since. Suddenly my calls are dropping and then the cherry on top was the 1am call I got (and didn't answer for obvious reasons) and then got my call declined again when I called back at a reasonable hour. Long review to say: Do not hire these folks, they will jerk you around and then do a terrible job. Worst part is they obviously don't stand by their work.

So I walk into the carpet store, the smell of fresh new carpet hits your nose like a chocolate cake baking in the oven. So Heavenly. Taylor greeted me, and I told him I needed a 6 by 8 carpet for my kitchen. So Taylor tells me we have 6 by 12 carpets. OK, let's go see them. So we went upstairs. It was like carpet heaven to me. There are so many beautiful colors and sizes. So I picked out one with the help of my dad, whom I sent photos to. Taylor gave me a nice price on this carpet. After I bought the carpet and Taylor put the carpet in my car. I told him I give you 2 thumbs up 5 stars and tons of kudos. You're doing a great job. Then, when I was in my car, I realized I had forgotten to buy three floor mats that were on sale for 3 dollars each. So I went back into the store and bought the three mats. Thank you again, Wood Brothers, for all the help you have given me. I give you 2 thumbs up 5 stars and tons of kudos. You rock in my book. I will be telling my friends and family to come here to shop for their carpet and Linoleum.

My husband and I suspected that the wood was "green" . Mannington has a 50 year well written warranty so I wasn't worried, other than the inconvenience of having to move out and do it over. Mannington sent out their inspectors and they claimed the damage was our fault!! Something about humidity and that we needed to instal a house humidifier. Huh?! This is my third wood floor in this area and in 20 years, I have never had wood coming apart on the grain or the finish coming off. Wood Brothers were also shocked with the report results and went after Mannington. Even Mannington's local representative agreed about the faulty product, but Mannington Company stood firm. No deal! SO lesson learned - The 50 year Mannington warranty means nothing. Most of the time Mannington has very good products, but not every time. Wood Brothers has stood behind their product 100% and is going to do the whole job over free of any charges to me! Wow! Even floor removal and installation of the new product!
