Zina's Greek Street Food is my favorite local Greek cuisine. I picked up spontaneous lunch here…read moretoday. This restaurant is like a year round Greek festival with considerably tastier food. It's really SO GOOD! Forget any other gyro you had, this is THE gyro. The place has a casual, welcoming vibe, clean and bright. There's a very IG worthy Greek mural inside. There are a few very comfortable tables to dine in inside and outside. Most guests take their meals to go (you can also pre-order for pick-up via Uber Eats). This eatery is always quiet and peaceful. Employees are always super friendly and attentive. Food is always prepared super quickly, took maybe 5 minutes this time. You can tell that there's a very high level of commitment to quality and good ingredients here. I ordered Classic Lamb Street Gyro (comes with fries), Lemon Rice Pilaf, and Zoe's Rice Pudding. Lamb Street Gyro was incredible as always. The lamb was perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed into a soft, slightly chewy homemade pita. What really stands out to me every time is the balance -- the meat, the fresh tomato and onion, plus tzatziki on the side. They really get gyros right every single time! Accompanying fries were perfectly seasoned and fried. I immediately ate all of them. You can order fries on your gyro or separately. I prefer to munch on them separately but on the gyro also often hits the spot. Rice pilaf was flavorful but unfortunately I got the feeling it wasn't fully cooked through. That didn't stop be from eating all of it. I devoured my Zoe's Rice Pudding. It's perfectly creamy and has such a good amount of cinnamon. I wish that I would have paired it with coffee but it was my first time experiencing it, and I couldn't stop eating it. I'm telling you, try the pudding. I was very happy with my meal. Also, I've tried other meals at this place in the past including Chicken Street Gyro, and Baklava. One of the guests at the restaurant was very talkative and mentioned that they make really good burgers (daily special). If you're feeling adventurous, you can always build your own bowl or build your own platter. Parking is a bit complex. Enter the parking lot from the right of the restaurant to park close otherwise you'll see Do Not Enter signs preventing you from entry. If you love Mediterranean food or just want something fast, fresh, and a little different from the usual, Zina's is absolutely worth a stop. I'm already planning to go back and trying baklava cheesecake. If you love Zina's, check out other establishments by the same owner - Chicken Ranch next door and Market on Lee.

The build-your-own bowl was pretty expensive at $19 with lamb meat, luckily the size was okay. Of course it would have been cheaper had I gone in-store. Feta cheese and kalamata olives were extra, but I had those at home, so I didn't add them. There was a good amount of lamb meat in the bowl and the pita was huge. I got the tzatziki yogurt sauce, as well as the Zina vinaigrette. The vinaigrette is thicker than one would expect, and garlicky, but I enjoyed it. The lamb wasn't especially seasoned, but it was good. Overall solid lunch choice, and I have leftovers for dinner.

Greek Village Grille is a taverna with Santorini spirit - cobblestone and blue accents. My friend…read morediscovered this littlest cafe when looking for book club meetup location. This month we read a book about Corfu (Greek Island). And so, this grille was the perfect backdrop. AMBIANCE: Casual destination with simple Greek decor. The grille is like a little diner with only a few tables for dining in - 4 tables of 4. Most guests ordered food to go. Our party of six rearranged some tables, and had a fine time. Our entire feast didn't all fit on the table. So I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place for group dining, maybe just parties of 2 for ultimate comfort. MENU: The menu online doesn't reflect the current menu. Some entree options were removed. I included images of the current menu. The current menu is Cheesecake Factory-long. The menu features a lot of Greek dishes that I haven't experienced at the local restaurants and festivals. I was excited to try them all! Our table ordered quite a variety: Greek Salad ($11), Horiatiki Salad ($11), American Gyro ($9.50), Pantzaria ($6), Tri-Dip Platter ($20), Baklava Cheesecake ($7.50), Dolmades ($6), Skordalia ($7), Baklava ($2), Avgolemono ($5), Athenian Entree ($16), Gyro Bowl ($13), and and more. We had an entire feast. I can share impression about the dishes I've shared or had all to myself. Pantazaria, Beet Salad, had the most perfectly prepared beets but a small serving. Skordalia, garlic potato spread, was an interesting concoction of potato, vinegar, and garlic. Dolmades aka stuffed grape leaves were pretty delicious, perfectly actually. Athenian platter contained the most delicious lamb, but rice wasn't a hit for me. It seemed not fully prepared. Perhaps it is as intended. Real lamb from vertical spit is used. Baklava cheesecake was part baklava (top part) and cheesecake (bottom part). I liked this division. My friend who shared the cheesecake with me wishes she could get both in one bite which is impossible. My friends bragged about Avgolemono, which is lemon soup. The grille doesn't have alcohol, so we ordered soft drinks and water. The restaurant ran out of bottled water. Oh, and if you're dining in, there are no public restrooms. Keep that in mind before visiting. SERVICE: The service is quick and friendly. I wouldn't call it overly inviting. It was pretty efficient considering the size of our order. Part of our order was wrong, we were missing pita side order and dips. There is no table side service, order at the counter. CATERING: The grille offers a pretty extensive catering menu. It's the only way you can try some dishes like Mousaka, Greek eggplant dish. PARKING: Onsite parking is not available. Street parking is available in the areas. Make sure to use meters when not free (weekends). If you're looking for Authentic cuisine and menu items you haven't tried elsewhere, consider this taverna. I'd recommend it for takeout food or dining (just the two of you).

The last three times we ordered from here was a complete disaster, with this last time being the absolute last straw. First the combo meals no longer come with drinks, second our gyros were smothered in sauce. So bad that I had to pick off 90% of the toppings and meat for it to even be edible, third the fries were burnt and extremely thin. So gross. And lastly one cheesecake was NOT what we ordered and the other was literally frozen!! When we called about it we were told " we cant do anything about it because you have already left" what a cop out!!! The cheesecakes were still sealed and we had left not even 10 minutes ago! I will never go to this place again, ever. And I will not be recommending it to anyone anymore either. Very disappointing.
