I can not recommend to use your own earrings because of the liability issues. There are possible things can go wrong. I can not guarantee my work and I am not responsible for any problems may come after the piercing.

My pediatrician recommends at least at 2 months or older after their first round of shots BUT it is up to the parents as it is their responsibility to keep the piercing clean.

Well, with the trend of thin brows of the 90s and early aughts, which clearly did a number on my own brows. Apparently, hair does not always grow back the way you want it to. Take that as a lesson and try to shape not overpluck. I had been letting my brows grow in and just drawing them in all this time. I had looked into permanent brows and microblading for a long time but never did it due to cost and upkeep. Anyway, with hormonal shifts and passing time, my brows have been looking sparse these last few years. Drawing in and powdering my brows in the morning takes longer than I would prefer. I did a deep dive into microblading and nano-blading, weighing the pros and cons. I settled upon a few permanent make-up artists in the area and reached out to them. It was time for me to take charge of my morning routine. Saena Kim has a robust repertoire on Yelp and Instagram so I reached out to her. Making an appointment was easy as she utilizes an online booking system. The consultation is $50 and goes towards your procedure if you choose to continue with her. With my oily skin, I knew that most PMA would suggest combination powder brows, but she suggested nano brows that are machine assisted. I trusted her with literally tattooing my face, so I went with her suggestion after voicing my concerns. I asked about the inks, she used (which are inorganic). I asked about her experience with nano brows (4+ years). I asked about the numbing prior to the procedure (topically applied). My appointment from start to finish was about an hour and a half. She took the time to shape my brows, get feedback from me, and went to work with her machine. My pain was minimal; I might have fallen asleep. She has offered microblading services for years. She also offers lash extensions, brow lamination, brow correction, and lip blush too. She rents a space inside Sola Salons in the Woodbury Town Center. It's a small, cute space with feminine details and bright lighting. There are other beauty services offered inside the salon as well, just know where you need to go. There is plenty of parking in the lot. I will be back in a few weeks for a touch-up session but so far my brows have been looking more shapely than ever before. The brows are healing nicely and I will post an update with side-by-side images, when all is said and done. Thanks Saena for giving my brows new life!

Instead of helping a nervous first-time customer he made us feel like our questions were an inconvenience. His behavior alone was enough to lose a customer. You can say what you want, but based on how we were treated, I believe we experienced racial bias. Whether you agree or not, that's how the interaction made us feel, and it was unacceptable.

I understand how difficult it is when looking for a trustworthy piercing studio. I come to Cleo's for eyelash extensions and for piercings. Her extensions look very natural and it is not irritating to the eye. Cleo is very skilled and good with application, my eyes are never irritated with her. Ive have my ears pierced many times I have arthritis so I am prone to infections and my piercing closes in just a few hours if I do not have my earrings in. After struggling for years getting multiple piercings I was loosing hope. After seeing Cleo's Instagram page and her yelp reviews being phenomenal. I decided to try and re-pierce my ears. I discussed my situation with Cleo and she was very understanding. She pierced my ears with her microneedle and it was fast and painless. Its now been a year since the piercing and no infections and no closures so far. However I am writing this review now because of her wonderful earring collection. I always had to purchased high end expensive earrings due to my infections... However Cleo gets her high end (affordable) earrings from korea. She has many different types to choose from! We had the most amazing experience at Cleopatra Studios today for our baby's ear piercing. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how incredibly clean the studio was. You only get one first impression and man this place did not disappoint. I honestly don't give 5 stars, but this place really deserves it. The new location is so clean and professionally set up that you feel comfortable the moment you step in. Cleo is very attentive and genuinely cares about the service she provides to her customers, it felt like it was a close friend helping me. It's rare to see that in places these days. Our previous experience at Cleopatra was a bit disappointing. We purchased earrings for our youngest daughter, but unfortunately, the back piece of one of the earrings fell off, which wasn't supposed to happen. This resulted in her right ear getting infected and eventually closing up, so now she only has one ear pierced. I want to be clear that the owner is very nice and attentive, and they were concerned when we brought up the issue. However, from a business perspective, it's frustrating to end up with faulty jewelry, especially considering the outcome for our daughter. Cleopatra is pretty humble and gentle. the place is very very clean and hygienic. She uses sterile needles (sterilizes again under UV radiation before using the needles and instruments) to pierce. got my ear lobe pierced around 10 days ago. No signs or Infection no pain nothing. I was so freakin' nervous that my hands were sweaty before she started the process of piercing, i fainted a minute after piercing was done (this was my first piercing after growing up). it didn't hurt more than few seconds while piercing. I'm so happy I decided to come here! Our previous experience at a local tattoo place, which advertised piercings for children, was horrendous. I took my 9-year-old daughter there, and they didn't apply any numbing agent, resulting in her screaming in pain. Furthermore, they refused to pierce her other ear. However, my boyfriend was present during the appointment and heard the conversation firsthand. The comments about me needing to lose weight were made at least 5 times, which is why they made me uncomfortable. I also found the owner's use of the term "extra flesh" in his public response to be unprofessional and reflective of the concerns raised in my original review. Never once did I mention "extra flesh" so you see they literally body shame even publicly. I stand by my experience. While my piercing healed well with the titanium jewelry I selected, the repeated comments about my body and the pressure I felt to purchase more expensive jewelry are the reasons I chose not to return. -------- I originally booked an appointment here because they operate by appointment only. However, I was surprised to learn that both appointments and deposits are cash only. In a time when most businesses accept cards, Apple Pay, and other digital payment methods, this felt unnecessarily inconvenient. During my visit, I decided to get my belly button pierced. Unfortunately, the experience left a negative impression. Throughout the appointment, the piercer an Asian lady repeatedly commented that I needed to lose weight. These remarks were unsolicited, unprofessional, and made me uncomfortable. For context, I am 5'3" and approximately 123 pounds. Regardless of anyone's size or personal fitness goals, customers should not have to listen to repeated comments about their body during a piercing appointment. I came in for a service, not for criticism about my appearance. After that experience, I decided I would not return. Another issue I had was the constant pressure to purchase more expensive jewelry. I specifically requested titanium jewelry because I had researched it beforehand and wanted an option that is commonly recommended for sensitive skin. Despite this, I felt repeatedly pushed toward more expensive alternatives and was told I would be more likely to experience problems if I chose titanium. In my case, that was not true. My piercing healed without infection, and I was happy with my choice. Six months later, once my piercing had fully healed, I wanted to upgrade my jewelry and visited Platinum Ink Tattoo & Piercing. The difference in customer service was night and day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. They answered my questions without judgment, made me feel comfortable, and provided a much more positive experience overall. I was also surprised to find that both their piercing services and jewelry were approximately half the price of what I had been quoted at Eddie's. On top of that, Platinum Ink accepts multiple forms of payment, including credit cards and Apple Pay, and they welcome walk-ins, making the entire process much more convenient. I cannot speak to the quality of the tattoo work here since I only received a piercing. However, based on my personal experience, I would choose Platinum Ink Tattoo & Piercing without hesitation. After seeing their straightforward pricing on their webpage, we decided to give them a try. Since our daughter was under 11 months old, we called ahead and were thoroughly informed about what to expect. Pediatric piercings are done on Sundays, which worked perfectly for our schedules. Her pricing already includes the earrings, which was a plus. The entire experience was thoughtful and professional. She first applied numbing cream and let it sit for about 20 minutes. She then placed a headband on our daughter to keep her hair out of the way, carefully marked both ears, and had us verify that the placement looked even before proceeding. Our daughter cried at first, which is to be expected, but once she saw her reflection afterward, she smiled! We really appreciated how gentle, patient, and detail-oriented she was throughout the process. It made what could have been a stressful experience much easier for both baby and parents. We highly recommend Paradigm to anyone looking for a safe and professional place for infant ear piercings.

I contacted my piercer and she advised me to go to a piercer in the area asap because it was starting to embed (nothing wrong with the original piercer, my anatomy just causes me to swell significantly more than normal). We found Oak & Poppy and I was able to book a same day appointment! Kari helped me and switched me to a longer post and i felt immediate relief! She took her time to assess my ear and piercing. During her assessment, Kari advised me to add a silicone back for extra protection and even told me that she would also advise me to make my upper helix longer because my ear swelled so much. My original piercing didnt fit their post so Kari asked if i wanted to either try to make the original earring work or purchase one from them. I ended up choosing to purchase from their selection to prevent any risks of my original earring from bending. Their selection is stunning!! I had such a hard time deciding. Kari helped me style my new piercing within my budget and was super helpful! Kari was super informative and professional! She took her time to look at my ear and get more history on my piercings so she can provide the best care. She was not "pushy" and was accommodating to my needs and what I felt comfortable with. Her aura and vibe made me feel so comfortable. She also helped me select the earring based in my style and current ear stack! I would definitely go back to Oak and Poppy as they were extremely helpful, professional, and in my opinion priced very well and fair! I also would love to go back to get styled by Kari! Neither were infected, just had been pierced somewhere else with very short backings, and when my ear swelled a little it just started swelling around the flat backs of my piercings. It was a bad situation. Through tears, swearing, apologizing, drama, and begging, he was able to remove both piercings and replace them with higher quality, appropriately sized jewelry. He was incredible; calmly talked me through the whole processes. And it wasn't an easy process, you couldn't even see any of the flatback of my earring, it was totally covered, was awful and he was so patient through it all. And most importantly they are incredibly kind and make the process fun! I got my third ear lob piercings done by Mason over a year ago and had a great experience throughout the piercing process. Both he and Logan made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process from exploring concepts together, helping me pick jewelry, decide what type of piercing to do and where, and actually doing the piercing. The studio and the piercer's sanitation processes were top notch. The piercing process was as painless as possible and the communication throughout the entire process made it easy and comfortable. Even though I don't live close to this shop and there are other piercing studios nearby to me, I wanted to come to Rainbow Piercing to help me when I had an issue with my naval piercing because I knew I could trust them. Mason helped me again today when I couldn't get my navel piercing put back in. I had left my jewelry out for a week and I couldn't install it into the piercing by myself because the piercing had collapsed and trying to put the a piece in was painful, really tight, and dangerous to do by myself. They walked me through the process and were able to quickly and sanitarily install a piece into my piercing using a tapered tool. Once again, he made me feel very comfortable with knowing what to expect and making it happen as painlessly as possible. I thought for a long time over leaving this review or not, but I just had a very poor, insanely…read morestressful experience. I appreciate how Simba displays care for his craft, but there were many red flags during my experience. My partner and I had requested stainless steel right away for our piercings clarifying we didn't need a titanium upgrade as we have no sensitivities even after the sales pitches, but once Simba told us the price at the end it was much higher than originally quoted, so we corrected him and he said he pierced us with titanium. Not once in the process was this made known to us. This was an extra $40ish to our total that we had no choice but to pay, when we have no sensitivities or allergies and are used to stainless steel jewelry. Simba was very salesman-y and tried to have us purchase many things until I requested to take them off the total, which I get from a business perspective but it made things a bit uncomfortable. I was familiar with the products too as we sell them at my work, and they are not soundly necessary for piercing aftercare. Any clean saline spray works great. The main problem came with my vertical labret piercing, which the end ball fell out 1-2 hours after he pierced me. I was standing when it fell out, and i didn't even notice until I saw my lip. I had to go back and get it fixed, which I do appreciate that Simba came back to help and screw a new one in. Then, 2 weeks later, my piercing fell out again when I was sitting in a car on a road-trip to another state. I never touched my piercing or did high movements out of caution. Once again only noticed when I saw my lip in a mirror. It was an insanely stessful experience where my piercing came out from the top of my lip and I had to shove it back in with blood leaking down my chin during a food stop in front of my family. Appetite ruined. Though Simba referred me to someone he knew in the area I had to pay to get the ball replaced, and this piercer was amazing. Johnny from Club Tattoo. My body was in shock from everything and I was not all the way there but he was very kind and I wish he was local to the area. He mentioned that per Simba's instructions (which were rather outdated, uncommon, and bizarre: clean the piercing 3 times a day with a spray and then 1 more time with a specific foam soap), I was over cleaning my irritated piercing and needed to let it be instead. I was only spraying it 3 times a day as I thought the soap was overkill, and spraying it 1-2 allowed it to heal better. The real kicker was, once this piercer switched my bottom ball out (Simba was telling me to buy a whole new piercing), it never fell out again! Not even once. I was even worried as the jewelry base was different. And I was very careful out of fear at first but then I started continuing my workouts and being not careful at all, bumping it etc, it still never fell out and lasted me about 5 months, perfectly in fact, until I had the courage to downsize it with The Piercing Shop (they were also very kind, low stress, and told me not to pay more for titanium when I asked as a precaution bc stainless steel works just fine). I even considered going back to Simba to downsize but never got a response. I'm unsure how things could've gone so wrong here, and it was personally a bad experience for me and my partner whose piercing had no room to be downsized as well and hasn't healed well. 2 stars for the early effort in communication at least, but overall a very poor personal experience

If she had asked questions, it would have been different. I also agree with other reviewers that their pricing and practices are not super clear in MY experience.
