Called last week to rent a Tritoon with some friends. Made the reservation and PAID in FULL the fees. Got a call the day before that our boat had a hole in it. Was then told they were going to instead put us on a bigger boat FREE OF CHARGE! Great! Super Excited! Then woke up day of, at 7 am mind you, to get ready and finishing packing only to get a call saying that (JUST KIDDING) the bigger boat we were promised was already rented out and there was nothing more they could do. Pretty much screwed us. We only have one day off a week and people came in from over 2 hours away for this. Called and politely discussed the situation, but unless the people who actually rented the bigger boat cancelled there was nothing else they could do. Moral of the story: Don't rent from here because you probably are only paying for the chaos of it all. read more

Just called to try to rent a boat for the day. Lady who answered the phone wouldnt even answer any of my questions, just kept repeating over and over "Refer to the website. Do you have internet access? Refer to the website. All your questions can be answered there." Wouldn't even let me finish a sentence explaining I was on vacation trying to do this from my phone. BEWARE... My son sliced his leg open on sharp metal on one of their pontoon boats. The tube that we rented met the same fate. We showed the rental agent both when we docked at the end of the day. Outside of offering an apology for the wound, all he wanted to talk about was the fact that he was going to have to charge us...and the price changed 5 times. After complaining he told me he would look into it. A week later (after making sure we were back in NY) he charges us $80. $80 for a slice that probably cost $10 to patch up and no consideration for the fact that it was their boat that was the issue. I called again and was told I'd hear back and nothing. I guess that's a small price to pay to let everyone else know that I would never deal with this place again. Oh, here is the best part.... we were told that if we had just said it busted while being towed there would be no charge. Mind blown with the lack of common sense, business sense, and overall decency here. I hope you and yours aren't injured by their property.... GOOD LUCK! read more

Wow! We had a great day on Lake Erie for the Fourth of July holiday. The service team was excellent, and the price was reasonable. This was our first family boating experience. Captain Ron made it seem like we had been coming there for years! The "Tri-toon" boat we rented was clean and ready to go. The kids ages 9 and 12 had the time of their life. In fact we all did! THIS IS THE WORST DEALER ON THE PLANET. The dipstick who thinks he owns the place, Jason Clemons promised fast service for our boat. Once I delivered my boat to his shop he stopped returning my calls. It was all text messages, if I got anything at all. After my boat sat in his service department for 2 months I called to pick it up and move it to another dealer to learn THEY CLOSE THE ENTIRE MONTH OF DECEMBER. Of course no one told me. This was the worst customer service experience all because of Jason Clemons, the grandson of the founder who could care less about customer service (unless he's selling you on bringing your boat in for service). read more
