They kindly pointed us to the harbor master building by the pool. We walked by and we're very impressed with the beautiful pool and view. We walked around the building and didn't see the restroom door. We asked one of the young men working there and he walked us around to the side we missed and showered us the restroom door (clearly marked just opposite the harbor master side ) It was refreshing to be greeted by such professional and well mannered young man who didn't just tell us where to go but walked us there ! While we aren't members my husband and I were very impressed with the club, people and beautifully kept grounds !! Would love to return by boat to enjoy meeting with others at this club !

I decided to give them another opportunity. MISTAKE Yesterday I arrived to inquire on purchasing a new Sea-Doo Fish Pro. (Also to inquire on trading in one of my new 2018 Sea-Doo GTI SE's in on it) I also wanted to get a black color matched Sea-Doo gel coat repair kit /pen. First, the young sales guy that assisted me was genuinely nice, personable and tried to help. (Even though he gave me a laughable $6k trade-in value from the "J&J owner" on my 9 hr 2018 Sea-Doo GTI SE. After this, I decided to simply ask the (angry at life / hates his job) parts guy seated at the parts counter about a black jet coat repair kit / pen for my two 2018 Sea-Doos. He advised he didn't have a gel coat repair kit / pen in stock (no biggie)... So I simply asked if he could order me one. His response.. "Yea, I can order you it, just as easy as you can order it online through the ColoRite's website." Really!!?? lol This guy seriously just costed J&J a potential $15k cash sale on the SEA-DOO FISH PRO (with no trade of course) I fully understand that everyone has bad days... I certainly have had my share. But this is my 4th experience dealing with J&J, having had similar experiences. I guess I should've known better. But I had just hoped things had changed. J&J Ownership - This parts associate needs some serious customer service 101 education. I was truly hoping your customer service had improved from the last few years. I was wrong.

Typically a $100,000 investment warrants some level in making the customer happy, not so with castaway. The boat I purchased, a brand new model, was delivered without some key components being tested for functionality, specifically an in-dash fish finder/chart plotter unit. It didn't work when delivered, and when I questioned it not working, I was told it worked when installed. When the dealer finally made time to check on the issue a couple weeks later, the adapter/plug necessary to sync the motors to the unit was finally installed. He also delivered it without the Yeti cooler supplied by the manufacturer. When I questioned it, he told me the cooler didn't come with the boat. Since the manufacturers description, as well as my bill of sale, indicated it was included, I eventually received it, but should it be that hard to get the dealer to give me what I paid for? Funny how that all worked out. This is just a couple examples of the frustration experienced when dealing with this dealer. I would spend an extra 10k to buy the same boat from another dealer if I knew then what I know now! Buyer beware....Castaway yacht sales and the owner Rick are BAD NEWS!!!!
