The Pure Water Store

I used to work for a water treatment company many years ago. They sold a really quality; top of…read morethe line product and it came with all kinds bells and whistles and year's worth of soap products but was WAY over priced (and maybe a little overkill too). So, I KNOW what a quality product looks like and Pure Water has it! That's ONE reason why I bought from them when I moved into my new home. The OTHER reason is the installation service. My sink and refrigerator are across the room from each other. My plan was to seek a plumber who could be creative. What I found were guys who talked about tearing out walls, overcharging me and one even suggested I buy TWO R.O.'s (forgetting that it needs a drain at the second location too which would have been impossible). They might be good at wrenching on pipes but my situation required someone who KNEW water treatment systems inside and out. Luckily one of them referred me to Pure Water Oasis. Rex, the owner, came to my house and was a very pleasant man and NOT pushy. There was no hard sell here because I already knew I want one and why. I've had pure water and soft water since the late 90's and never want to be without it again. I just wanted to know more about his unit. I really like that the softener reduces the chlorine coming into my house significantly before it ever reaches the R.O. Chlorinating yourself in the shower or tub is not a desirable outcome for someone as concerned about water purity as I am. Of course, the chlorine coming out of my Lees Summit kitchen tap was a much higher than the water in my swimming pool. Funny that it's too much chlorine to swim in but OK to drink and bathe in. After he installed the softener I tested it again with my own pool test kit and it's definitely doing its job!! The chlorine barely registered! (My pool would say it's time to add some...lol!) I like the lifetime warranties and guarantees that come with the system as well. This unit was even about $1,200 less than the one I used to sell in the 1990's! But what was really impressive was how hard Rex worked to make sure I had R.O. water coming out of my refrigerator. He even went out and bought a special camera just for my job so he could snake the line under the floor. It took him a second trip back to my house and several hours and trips to the hardware store to make it happen. He's a man of his word and a VERY capable installer. I just knew he could do it when I met him but I know many lesser men would have given up on me and my dream. He knew that getting purified to my fridge and ice maker was the deal breaker for me and he hung in there until the job was DONE! All in all....they sell a quality product at a reasonable price and it's delivered by a knowledgeable installer ....a man who stands by his word. I feel like I didn't just get a new, kick ass water system but that I made some new friends in him and his wife Penny (who runs the store). These people DO BUSINESS RIGHT!! Amen! What a wonderful experience it has been working with both of them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a water treatment system for their home. As I understand it, they do more than install water systems. You won't go wrong with them at any rate. So impressed! Can't say it enough. Thank you Rex and Penny and Pure Water Oasis for this incredibly good transaction. You ARE an Oasis in a business desert!

Paid $240 Upfront and the Job Is Still Not Finished…read more I hired Razo's Plumbing to replace an outside faucet while new siding was being installed on my house. The plumber came out and explained that he could not install the new faucet at that time because of the siding work. He removed the old faucet and told me he would come back to install the replacement. I paid $240 upfront for the job. Once I had the new 1/2-inch MIP faucet ready, I contacted him and sent him a picture. He told me, "I can stop by this Friday." Friday came and he did not show up. Since then, I have repeatedly texted asking when he is coming back. My messages have gone unanswered. It has now been two weeks, the job I paid for is still unfinished, and I am left trying to chase down the plumber just to get a response. I understand that schedules change. What I do not understand is taking full payment upfront, promising to return, not showing up, and then ignoring repeated messages from a customer. I have screenshots of the communication showing the promised return date and my multiple attempts to follow up. At this point, I simply want the job I paid $240 for completed or my money refunded. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Razo's Plumbing

Weeks earlier, I'd had one less-than ideal experience with a different plumber based in Olathe, and…read morebecause I have a very small budget for home improvements, I shopped around extensively in the K.C. area to find an experienced licensed plumber I could rely upon to install a replacement utility sink and replace my tub faucet. Alfonso showed up right on time with his helper, and they knocked out my needs-done list in under 3 hours. Not dirt cheap, but having already gotten other free estimates nearly double his, I was very pleased to get both needs done in one visit at a price I could afford. They also did a very good cleanup, so I didn't have to.
