This review is for frames, lenses and fitment only. I had a current prescription and wanted to utlize my insurance benefit for a new pair of glasses. I tend to focus the bulk of my reviews on culinary experience but feel compelled to share this. I was attended to on Friday afternoon 2/19/2021 by a young dark haired "asset". She was personable, professional and very proficient in her duties. This is the exact reason why online glasses will never displace a good optometry tech and place of business where you can ask questions, try on frames and have a knowledgable technician measure your eyes for lens placement and distance apart. I had an appointment at 1:00 today. I got a call on Friday and was asked if I would rather have the 11:00 appointment. I accepted. Of course, I rearranged my day for this. I showed up 10 minutes early. There was one receptionist at the desk when I arrived. There were also the traditional clipboards where one would sign in, however, none of those clipboards had sign-in sheets attached. The receptionist was on the phone but looked at me and nodded. I took a seat. Another receptionist showed up, didn't acknowledge me. I thought, no big deal, the first one saw me and will surely speak to me when she is off the phone. She did not. Sat for another 20 minutes during which time, I made eye contact with three other workers, including the actual doctor. Not one single person ever bothered to formally greet me nor acknowledge that a living, breathing person is sitting directly across from the reception area. Finally left at 11:20 and called them from my car absolutely furious. The first thing she asked, "did I check in at the front desk"? What a terrible experience! read more

i didn't have a long wait at all. And before I new it. I was picking out a pair of red frames. That I Love along with having new lenses put in my purple frames I dearly love. We even looked and found a pair on line that are navy blue for my husband who is hard to get frames for cause of his eye sight. Can't wait to see them on him. Very excited. read more

My husband & I saw a "special" for progressive lenses & frames at another optical shop in Henderson. He was in need of new glasses since his cataract surgery so I had him go to Clear Vision in BC since we live here and have always used them in the past. Just as I hoped, Lindsey, in the optical shop here was able to get the price down to almost the same as the huge place where one is forced to wait in a packed office. He was replacing his glasses from this optical shop which lasted 18 years and had a couple of repairs which they never charge for. Even my guest visiting from out of state was able to get her glasses repaired here for no cost. They're small town friendly & do a wonderful job. Loved Lindsey! read more

Dr. Jensen is very nice, very professional, but guess who you're going to be dealing with after your eye exam? That's right, his rude and incompetent office staff. After paying for a pair of glasses, I called them ONE HOUR later to request a different payment method. They absolutely refused to issue a refund on my debit card, or any kind of refund. I do not know whether this is even legal or ethical but it is certainly bad customer service. I was not even requesting to cancel the order - I just wanted to change my payment method so that I could use my FSA debit card. Now that I know they are absolutely unwilling to accommodate a very simple request from a repeat customer, I am going to completely cancel the order and take my business elsewhere. read more

Worst eye exam I have ever had. I had an appointment with Dr Jensen who was very good in the past. However, for some reason he was not in. I saw another doctor who did a very poor exam if you would even call it an exam. Never performed a refraction on my eyes, he just had me read an eye chart. Prescribed same prescription I had last year even though I know my ey are worse. Will definitely not be going back. read more

I don't love going to the doctor, the eye doctor falls midway in my overall aversion to doctor appointments. I don't love the puff of air that has been blown in my eye that has made me jump since I was 13, the spots from a photo of my eyeball taken that makes me question my subsequent peripheral test proficiency, and the eye tests for far sightedness because I'm reaching a certain age (ugh). However, this office is so awesome - they're efficient and accommodating, they answer my many questions, and are very helpful with navigating my insurance benefit. Dr. Jensen is a pleasure, I've witnessed him being very diplomatic with a confrontational client (not really the patient but a mildly aggressive significant other of the patient) and he was sooooo graceful. His staff is phenomenal, from the moment you walk in, the staff at the front desk is super professional, they have your next appointment already scheduled, and the wait is minimal. Once you're finished seeing the doctor, you can see Lindsey in the optician area who helps navigate you through what insurance will and will not pay for. She's also helped me in the past with selecting my glasses (for me, such a struggle!) and adjusting them as needed. I've never received this level of attention (from the front to the back of the office) at any doctors office and think they should get some props! read more

Very bad experience. The eye exam produced glasses prescription so off i could not read with them. They failed to order the correct type progressive glasses and the frames were over sized and did not fit properly. They refused to correct the problem and the sales person pitched a fit when I refused to accept them. Upon investigation I found that Clear Vision LLC license was "revoked" with the State of NV Secretary of State corporation office and in fact they billed my credit card as Pritchards. So do not give them payment until you are sure the order is correct. F- read more

Dr. Lee is awesome but I will never buy eyewear there again. I used my current frames, and only have vision in one eye so the other lens is clear. Price $421. (including a small discount). What would new frames and a prescription in BOTH Lenses cost? Ridiculous! My bad, I should never have gotten my eyewear at Clear Vision. Screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice, shame on me. Highly recommended! I have had two appointments here, and both have been very good experiences. Dr. Jensen, the front desk staff, and the optician that helped me all did a great job, and my wife mentioned to me that Dr. Jensen was especially great with our kids during their appointments. I was pleased that I was not pressured into purchasing new frames and lenses since my prescription did not not change much. Instead, my old frames were replaced at no cost due to some cracks that had developed. Also, whatever coatings my glasses have are amazing. I have worn them at least 14 hrs a day, everyday for the past year, and they still look practically brand new. read more

My wife told them she needed glasses she could wear all the time but her main use would be working on the computer. They sold her $800 glasses with progressive lenses. We know progressives take some time to get used to. She tried them and realized there was no place on the lenses were the prescription was right for looking at her computer. She told them what she needed the glasses for and they decided she needed progressives (the most expensive lenses they could sell her). They didn't even make sure her mid distance prescription was in the middle of the lense. I went with her to discuss correcting this problem. All they would do is fit bifocal lenses. She over paid for progressives and ended up with bifocals. They refunded about $24. Not much for an $800 screw up. I asked for her prescription and they printed it out for us. Of course it didn't have the PD (pupil distance) on it. This is a standard ploy of retail opticians so you can't take your prescription somewhere else and get it filled without being ripped off. I asked for the PD, "Oh, did we forget to include that!". I then asked for the bifocal prescription. The girl helping us had some reason she couldn't print it out even though she had it on the screen. I had her turn the screen so I could see it and write it down. The office manager objected that I was breaking the law by writing it on the prescription they printed out for us. Buy your glasses online for 1/10 of what they charged. I use eyebuydirect but there are a lot of place online you can order glasses, coastal, zinni. A google search will turn up half a dozen places. I just received glasses today that cost me $12. I softened my regular prescription by 0.75 to use them as computer glasses. Don't buy glasses at Clearvision and I would hesitate to get an exam there because of their unscrupulous practices. Where ever you go make sure your distance PD and bifocal PD are on the prescription. You don't have to pay ridiculous amounts of money for glasses. read more

I have to wear custom hard contacts and Dr. Lee is extremely thorough when fitting my contacts. He will ensure that they fit well and are the best solution for my eyes.
