Don't get me wrong, I really like the new windows and the value is great!! But the installation was inadequate. For example, the flashing is a mix of new peel-and-stick flashing combined with the old flashing, OR just the old flashing was left in place. See the photo as a sample of the "flashing" they relied upon. It is the original flashing from the removed window. When or if they applied new peel-and-stick flashing, it was laid on top of the old flashing without removing the peel.

We ordered two 4'x6' mirrors online with safety backing and wall mounting kits. The website says it can take anywhere from two to six weeks for delivery. We placed our order on 5/30 and I was contacted on 6/2 to arrange a delivery date of 6/5. What an awesome surprise. Tim was very easy to communicate with and showed up exactly when he said he would for delivery. He carried the two mirrors into our home and gave us a few installation tips. Thanks for such an easy purchase! Note: As of 6/5/20 this company does not cut mirrors or install them. They have specific size mirrors they sell on their website.

I chose this company based on good reviews, but wound up disappointed. I gave them a 2-star because…read morethey were responsive in doing the work and good correspondence, but their work quality was poor and cost me more money. They replaced a shattered sliding glass door pane, but the trim around the window was missing. When I got home from work, I went to inspect their installation. I noticed that they had not replaced the missing snap-in trim! I called them and spoke to the owner. His response was that he did not know the manufacturer or model of the window, so it would be hard to figure out the trim I needed. However, he had also replaced the stationary side of the sliding door as part of my job order that had the exact same trim but was still intact. His solution was to me was to just fill it in with silicone! I later had a home inspection prior to listing my home and the lack of trim got noted as a "Correction Recommended" repair! The whole reason I had called them out to replace the broken glass door only for them not to fix it correctly! Frustrated, I got online and found the trim I needed in my first Google search! I later called another local glass company for a different repair and mentioned it to them. He said the trim is a standard trim and that all their service trucks are stocked with it!!

I took it back, and they tried to convince me that it was, in fact, the new one. It clearly was not, and the older lady (the owner) was so belligerent that she actually made my wife cry with frustration. So after a few months go by, and I just keep pushing this seal back in every few weeks. So I give up and call them to get them to try to fix. They were very nice to do this (I'll give them that), but I go to pick it up, and the windshield had handprints all over it. You'd think for a glass shop they'd at least clean up their mess. But I guess it's a "pick your battles" thing. I will not only NEVER use these guys again, if anyone asks me, I will certainly say that I wonder how they stay in business.

BEWARE OF NICOLET GLASS!…read more Had a broken outside pane of a double-pane window in an upstairs room replaced by Nicolet Glass. They sent a couple of young kids who replaced the glass. The next winter storm came and water poured through the window like a "water feature!" Flooded the room and the rooms below. When they sent their resident expert out to see what happened, he (Randy) stated unequivocally the window had been installed wrong. Nicolet then sent somebody out to make the repairs to the window. Meanwhile, the homeowner's claim on my insurance, which reached almost $22,000 in repairs was submitted to Nicolet Glass for subrogation. Nicolet owner (Brian Biggs), denied culpability for the damages. That left me with the out of pocket deductible, cost of initial window "repair" and increase in my homeowner's premiums. Under threat of a lawsuit to hold Nicolet Glass responsible, Mr. Biggs paid me back my deductible and a PORTION of the original "repair." I am still left with the increase in my homeowner's insurance and a claim mark against me. They used to have a good reputation here but it seems Mr. Biggs has sold his soul to the Devil. Hire this outfit at your own risk!

The only problem was that scheduling was a bit 'up in the air' because it seems like they wait for the glass to come in from Sacramento, and then schedule around their larger commerical jobs.
