Couldn't ask for a better experience than the one I had last week with my initial application from ClearDefense Pest Control! After having went through two pest control companies the past 14 months- one being a popular, well-kniwn company- with LITTLE success, was a bit hesitant to make another jump. However, our black ant problem had grown beyond our capabilities of dealing with it ourselves. The technician, Trevor, was OUTSTANDING and represented the ClearDefense magnificently. He took the time to review the company's guarantees- which are PHENOMENAL btw- as well as address my concerns and questions with both patience and adeptness. He then did something the others hadn't- took his time to treat our home and property much the same as I imagine he would his own- skillfully and thoroughly. He then walked me through some of his findings: a nest of some kind of black, flying bug in our back porch eaves, and a male Black Widow on the gas meter in the side of our home!!!! Just started with ClearDefense Pest control. First treatment was yesterday(May 24). The technician showed up right at the appointed time, saw me working in the yard, and came right over to introduce himself. His name is Philip Walbridge, and let me tell you, ClearDefense should hope all of their techs are as personable and professional as Philip. He was familiar with the issues I had concerning my home from the notes taken by the initial solicitor and assured me that they would all be addressed starting right then. After about 15 to 20 minutes treating the inside, he started on the yard. He asked me where the trouble spots were, and spent extra time to make sure they were treated properly, then finished with the rest of the yard and along the base of the house. When he was finished, he told me just what had been done and what to expect in the way of a results timeline. Overall, a very impressive start to what I hope will be a long and productive relationship with ClearDefense. 5 stars for now, and I hope 5 stars months and a year from now. read more

I just knew when I opened the door I was going to be blowing this guy off. Five minutes in talking with Jordan and I had already changed my mind. He was professional but it felt like I was talking to my good buddy and we were just having a conversation. He got us set up and the next day Philip was at the house. Philip kept up the exceptional customer service that we have experienced so far. He was obviously knowledgable of his profession and again it felt like I was just hanging out with a buddy and we were taking care of the pests around the house. He cleaned all the webs and nests up. Killed some monster black widows in the fence and made me feel like he did a compete job. He even gave me some pointers to help myself along and keep pests at bay. My neighbor referred me to Clear Defense, and so I thought I would try them. When I called, I spoke to Ron and he explained what they do, and he answered any questions I had. Then, I scheduled my initial visit, and the technician who came to do the initial visit's name is Dylan. Dylan answered all of my questions to what the solution was made of to how to remove lizards that may get stuck in one of the three nontoxic "glue" boxes that they put in the garage- he said to use Pam cooking spray. I thought, what a helpful tip to know if you put the boxes in your garage. He said that the boxes aren't designed to catch mice, though if I ever have a problem, all I have to do is call them. Dylan patiently and professionally explained everything to me. He was helpful and courteous as well. I am now on their schedule for routine pest control because of how responsive the employees at Clear Defense are. Thank you. read more

Philip was very friendly and knowledgeable. He walked me through the entire process, including how each of the materials used would work. He provided information concerning what to expect from the service, the frequency that it would have to be renewed/checked on, etc. He was very thorough when providing the service and gave me heads up concerning things such as black widows and how he was planning on dealing with them. Concerning ClearDefense overall, I am glad that the service itself has very minimal impact on day to day activities of the customer. There was no point in which I had to leave the house nor clear out of a room, even during the service. I have only received my first pest control treatment and still need to see the effectiveness of the methods and materials used, so for now I cannot provide a review in that regard. We used ClearDefense for 3 years in NC and were happy to find them here in SC when we moved here last year. Any time I call for questions or scheduling the service is always helpful, knowledge and professional. Each technician that has been out to complete our quarterly service is also knowledgable and friendly. They do a great job removing webs inside and out. We live on a property and ClearDefense ensures our barn and detached garage have been kept free of mice. I'm "one of those" customers that has called for a technician to come out because I find a spider or two in my house. :) They are always patient and send someone right over without making me feel like an inconvenience. We have been with Clear Defense for over three years and have been extremely satisfied with their service. We use them for quarterly pest control and mosquito control during the summer months. I want to call out our most recent interaction. Last week we had our 3rd quarter pest treatment, but we noticed insects in the house. CDPC came out yesterday for our Mosquito treatment, and my wife and I advised him that we were seeing bugs in the house and I had found a couple of fire ant hills in the backyard. We were John from Clear Defense's last house for the day and he took the time to spray an application In our house for the bugs, sprayed the fire ant hills, and sprayed for Mosquitoes no questions asked. I had my initial service with technician Tom Crowe. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He took his time and explained what he was doing, what he was using and what I should expect to see happening with insects within the next 30 days. What he said would happen is happening. Will possibleladd mosquito defense next. Update- I continue to be impressed with pest control and technician. Very few insects around our h. None in our home. I signed up for mosquito defense and Tom came out and did first treatment yesterday. If mosquito defense work like other insect defense we will truly enjoy outside this summer. Update 8/12/20- Tom Crowe continues to impress me with his service as a technician for Clear Defense. We have been having a small ant issue in our kitchen for a little while now. I tried using "home remedy" methods to no avail! Called yesterday to see if they could send someone out, they were able to send someone today! Thank goodness! And Philip W was AMAZING! He came in asked me to go over the problem areas and talk to him about what type of ants. Then he explained exactly which types of ants they were and informed of how the spray and bait he was using works. He didn't laugh at my home remedy attempts, actually said to keep going with it if we see anymore. He was very kind and super knowledgeable! I am so happy that we are using Clear defense! I have been a customer for several years now and have always valued the service I received. Recently we had some ants invade our home and I called Clear Defense immediately. I was scheduled for the next day and sure enough, the phone rang and Kyle who has serviced us many times before said he was on the way. Kyle arrived along with a new trainee Annie and quickly found the source of the invasion and took care of it right away. Greg is awesome, very thorough and pleasant to talk to! He and the company as a whole really go above and beyond to make sure our home is as pest-free as can be! He always comes to the door and if we're home makes an effort to ask and listen to our concerns and any issues we may be facing. I had some unidentified beetles in my bedroom which he took several photos of, sent to Ryan, who confirmed they were carpet beetles and he was awesome enough to spray around all the windows in that room, used a fogger for the rest, and made some recommendations about other products we can use to keep the issue at bay. I must commend him on the thoroughness of the work her preformed it was one of the most thorough I have ever received. I appreciate the efficient way he completed the service asking me questions about how everything was and then providing instructions for after the treatment. What stood out as well he mentioned that the app that the technicians use a map didn't have the correct location of our home. After 2 years this was the first I heard of it. He actually showed me that the location on their app was not our true location. He updated this in our notes so I am hopeful that gets resolved. Travis Smith came to my home, on time, in a pretty slick van by the way. He was courteous, professional, knowledgeable. He wore his mask in and outside of the home. He wore protective foot gear to protect my floors and carpets. It's been a week since treatment. I haven't seen any wasps on my front porch or near my shrubs. My garage was a hotbed for spider activity; gone. Mind you I was an Orkin customer since my home was constructed in 2018. Their prices are high and service quality is subpar. Earwigs, spiders, wasps, all still prevalent after their treatment. So long as Clear Defense continues to provide excellent big protection and sends professional techs like Travis to my home, they will keep a happy customer. I've had several technicians, including the owner himself, come out. Each time they are so professional, kind, and willing to educate. They know their stuff and deliver fantastic value. Most recently, Jake was my tech, and he did a solid job hitting every spot both inside and outside of our house. This service was a repeat, which is something I love about ClearDefense vs. other vendors. If you still see pests after a scheduled service, you just let them know, and they'll come back out as many times as they need to until they resolve the issue. They never complain and are more than willing to help. I do their monthly treatments and the mosquito service. We don't have an issue with mosquitos at all, and we rarely see pests. read more

Very appreciative of the quick and friendly service provided by Matt! Honestly I am that crazy lady that hates bugs and had been having an issue with ants in my house. Despite several attempts to resolve the issue with the pest control agency my apartment complex is in contract with I decided to take things into my own hands. We were struggling with bugs in our house and ant hills in our yard at the end of last summer and my sister in law referred us to try Clear Defense pest control. I am glad I did! We've had a plan now for almost a year, doing treatments every season, we don't see any bugs in the house or ant hills in our yard anymore.
