So far no complaints. I've rented a parking space there for about 4 months and everything has gone smoothly. The young woman who has been working both times I've stopped in the office is very polite and helpful. No issues with billing or access thus far. Good price/value in my opinion. Very shady. First they double rented our storage unit. We paid for the unit for several months, and when we finally went to move our stuff in, they were renting the same unit to someone else. Double dipping. They relocated us to another unit (no refund) and a couple months later, when new ownership took over, they called to give me less than a months notice that they were increasing my monthly bill by 50%!! Clearcreek Self Storage is the very definition of a poorly run business. They are unable to keep track of payments made for their parking spaces. On three separate occasions over a period of nine months they claimed that I did not make a payment and locked me out of their facility. My bank automatically sends them a check each month. I had to show them a copy of the check issued by my bank and deposited into their account to obtain access again. Making matters worse, when I discovered the problem on a Saturday afternoon (they don't bother to notify you when you are locked out due to non-payment) I was unable to resolve the problem until they reopened on Tuesday morning. They don't even have an answering machine or voicemail to leave a message on when you have a problem. The "call manager" button on the keypad at the facility is not connected to anything. If you are able to access their facility, hopefully there won't be any snow on the ground because they don't bother to plow the parking lot (even when there is over a foot of snow on the ground). read more
