This company has broken our screens two years in a row and has harassed us over payment of repair. I would steer clear of of clear view.

They came out and worked very quickly. They were polite. They were professional and they were clean. I have a home with many huge windows and thought that the job would take longer. I was delighted the windows look so much better now that they're clean and ironically, I had very little awareness how filthy they were. I thought the price was appropriate. I'll call this company again next spring as I have every year. read more

Great service, they took care in window cleaning. Highly recommend them to other homeowners.

Did a great job. We don't have the easiest windows and they just sailed through the job. What a pleasing little summer upgrade! Great job cleaning. I'll add that I've read some of the reviews and I'll say that my wife and I are happier with a 95% great job that is fast , than a 99% nearly perfect job that is slow. Are there a few little streaks and spots if I inspect... yeah sure, but only if I'm looking for it. they were damn fast which was what made it more affordable and a more pleasant experience. They work hard knew how to hustle and I appreciate that. read more

Called for window cleaning service. Brandon showed up and had my windows sparkling the same day. Fast, professional, good price compared to other companies and best of all didn't interrupt business at my shop at all. read more

Would give them 5 stars except they lose one star for each of the following: 1. Did not know they were coming. 2. Splashed mud/dirt from the gutter on me. 3. Did not let me know they were finished. 4. Complained about me to others instead of apologizing. read more

I can say nothing but good things about Clear View, Bret and his team. I had a coupon from another company and after three days I still don't have a quote. With Clear View, Bret answered my request immediately and gave me my estimate within a couple of hours. I needed my windows done this week and even though they had a full schedule, Brett made it happen. Three guys showed up, exactly on time, and worked really fast to get the job done. The price was good too! In my opinion, Clear View is the best window washing company in Santa Cruz! read more

Unfortunately a new hire was sent to our home. He bent a screen. Left black stains on our carpet and couch. And the windows were streaky. When I received a follow up call I reported the foregoing. I was told the employee had been fired. He should not have been sent out alone and we paid the price. read more

Reliable, fair-priced, great work. Use them every year. They even climb up into my skylights to clean them. Highly recommend!!

A friend recommended Clear View to me after they cleaned her windows and solar panels. My experience with them was not good. It is hard to review a company's work when they do not even give you the courtesy of a reply when you request a quote. I contacted them once but heard nothing. Two weeks later I gave them another chance and contacted them again....no response. I guess they don't need the work. I'll contact someone else. read more

Good to deal with on time very responsible good job very competitive very professional wood use again

Love these guys been using them for years in San Jose! They do everything I need, solar, gutters, windows, power washing. A++

Great service! First time ever using this company and I'm very impressed. Got an appointment within 2 days of making it (Diane was great)! AL is the man! His hard work and professionalism were outstanding. He cleaned all of our windows and power washed all of our decks. He worked unbelievably hard and was eager to do a great job. I honestly hope this company takes good care of him. He deserves that read more

It appears they are no longer in business. I've sent an email and called and didn't get a response.

initially never called back to schedule a bid. I wound up calling back a week later. spoke with a gentleman that said someone would come to our home Monday morning between 8:30 and 8:45. no one showed. when I called to inquire if they were still coming I got an " I don't know " ???? who says that??? when I explained the fact that they had flaked twice now, they just hung up. very unprofessional. will call someone else read more

They were over an hour late to clean the gutters. No communication -- I had to call twice to find out it they were coming at all. Cost $200, they were here for maybe 30 min. read more

We had our 25 solar panels cleaned and Geraldo was very professional and the pricing was great. He was running a little late (only 30 minutes) but called to tell us that. I really appreciated that. He also noticed that our gutters were clogged. He was not pushy, but when we asked he was able to clean the gutters and downspouts right then--also for a good price. We will definitely use his services again--maybe for our Christmas lights. Also respectful of the social distancing. read more

My windows have needed a thorough cleaning for years-whenever I attempt it-there are always streaks. Last week I had Cleaview come out and in ONE HOUR they cleaned my gutters on a two story townhouse, blew the redwood debris off my roof and cleaned all my windows, inside and out. They have not been this clean since if moved in over 30 years ago! Great job-would highly recommend them. read more

We are selling our home and moving to a condo. Our present home is three stories high on a very sloping lot. It has an extremely high cathedral ceiling encorperating the second and third stories. The windows and skylights (5) needed to be washed, inside and out. Primi and Rufino (sp? from the invoice) arrived and proceeded to efficiently and cheerfully do the almost impossible, in my view, with their magical extendable ladders and their non fear of heights and their skill with the squeegie. And this came in at a price which we feel was extremely reasonable. I am definitely going to recommend that our realtor use them as a recommendation. Thank you Clear View Window Cleaning. read more

This company has been cleaning our windows for the past 15 years. Brett and his crew are awesome. We have some pretty difficult to reach but they always get the job done right. No streaks, clean screens and on time. I wouldn't even consider using any other company. Friendly, courteous and they take great pride in their service. Many thanks again for another great job! read more

Don't bother with these guys if you value your time. We have a vacation home outside of Santa Cruz with windows desperately in need of cleaning. They made commitments to come out and give an estimate which they did not keep. They said they would do the windows within the several day time frame I requested, but that was not true either. After several days of emails making commitments they broke, and phone calls they did not return, they just blew me off. After giving up on these jokers, I found that there are other window washers in Santa Cruz who are far more dependable. read more

I was so disappointed in Clearview Window's today. I decided to splurge this year and have the inside and the outside of my windows cleaned. I had an appointment for noon so I spent a couple hours pulling all the furniture away from the windows and washing off all the windowsills. I have used them several times in the past and they have always been on time. But, this time when they didn't show up I called, I was worried I had the day wrong because they always have showed up on time in the past. She did say I was on the schedule. At 1:30, Which was an hour and a half past my scheduled appointment,I called again and they said they would check with the guys and get back to me. At 2 o'clock I called and canceled and started washing my own windows. The reason I gave them two stars and not just one is because they have done a good job in the past. Also, I called and left a message to schedule an appointment and I didn't hear back from anyone and I had to call a second time a few days later. read more

We're moving out of a 2-story, 3-bedroom condo and our landlord required our windows be cleaned inside and out. The condo is on a slope, with some difficult-to-reach areas. We had a time constraint due to our move-out date and Clear View was kind enough to squeeze us in over a holiday weekend (THANK YOU Diane!). The crew that came out arrived early and were incredibly polite, efficient and friendly. They also did a fantastic job and managed to get all the awkwardly placed windows no problem. Really happy to have found this company and would definitely recommend. read more

Local service. Have used them several times and would use them again. Very personalized service. Good job on the windows. Highly recommend.

Jimmy did a great job on our windows! Thanks Clear View!

I am so excited about the service today that I opened an account with Yelp just so I could share with people the amazing work they did! Brandon and Jorge were courteous, professional and did a quick but amazing and thorough job. I'm not the mani/pedi/facial kind of gal, but now I know how they feel; spoiled, looking at something nice (immaculate windows and screens) and having somebody else do that work! I feel pampered! I want to have them do this quarterly!! read more

best widow cleaners. Use them for personal and properties i list for sale.Always on time and price.

The crew look professional and worked very fast. Their office manager responds emails very fast. Their price is competitive. HOWEVER, the crew did not do a good job cleaning the screens. After they are done, my mom wiped the screen with a damn paper towel and it turned black. She showed it to the crew and the crew seemed quite annoyed. They reluctantly cleaned the two screens that my mom pointed out again. We had a busy day that day so I did not check the other screens. Later we did the same paper towel test and many screens appear as if they are not cleaned. Emailed office manager and she sent another crew back the same week to clean the dirty screens. They did a good job but would be better if they can tell me that they broke one of the screens (I don't blame them, the window is quite old). I spent quite a while getting the ladder and tools out to fix the screen. Also if you have plants near the window be sure to tell them. I have a small succulent in the ground. I put a flower pot near it to prevent people from stepping on it. But the crew moved the flower pot and stepped on the succulent :( I personally would not hire them again. But if you don't care about screens they do a good job. read more

I wanted to say that Brett & his crew did an awesome job at cleaning the windows & gutters on our 2 story home! I made contact with Brett & he instantly replied very kindly. I set up an appt for 2 weeks later bec he was booked up. He called the very next day to tell me he had a cancellation that day. I have NEVER seen my windows so amazingly clean. My gutters were really dirty as well. His prices were so reasonable & I appreciated his honesty, clarity, & concern. They all worked really hard & completed in a couple hours time. To add to Sara's comments Below or to reply to her. Bret may have been in business for 20 years but doesn't change that he lied to us and didn't do what he said he did because the thinks a customer is not going to get on a 18ft roof line to check his work. Also the mere fact that you Sara keep calling me and calling me to remove the honest review makes me believe your previous reviews are fake reviews by people you know or had make for you in a positive light. You where completely unprofessional by calling a customer "I have your phone calls recorded by the way" and can share them with yelp of if you continue to pretend like everything was just a slip up and no big deal. 4 hours late to do a job that was booked 2 weeks in advance and so a nonexistent job in 20 minutes wish leaf blower yet seeing a 4 inches of pigeon droppings clogging up a gutter is not what people pay for. Then to have Bret come out and avoid eye contact and avoid questions if the job was done right then leave after 5 min is insulting. He just didn't think I climb 18 ft on that difficult roof to see his work or not. Then for you to repeatedly beg for us to remove the review completely on yelp just because you refunded our money for the incomplete job. It's insulting and was harassment by you and your company. What kind of company issues the refund check by the employee being you? So unprofessional..... it makes me believe you have done this before with other people who wrote reviews about your company and that the positive reviews here are most likely fakes or friends or paid companies to write those reviews... people reviews can be written by anyone. My review of clear view is backed up with photos and voice recordings of the company and what they did. These people wasted my day and countless phone calls of my time. Don't waste your time. Just hearing Sara speak on the phone tells you volumes of what you will be dealing with when hiring this company. read more

Clear View Window Cleaning - Asking for customer to remove a honest review because they refunded my money yet wasted my entire day and keep asking me to remove review. - Window Washing Near Me - Santa Cruz, California

Got one of their postcards in the mail and thought I'd give them a try. Seemed nice enough when they gave an estimate, however . . . . . I was surprised by the behavior and attitudes of the actual workers, especially if you politely point out something they missed. It appears they were in a hurry to "get it over with". I agree with Lisa K., they do ignore simple requests, like to not go into a girl's room - which they did anyway! That's really creepy. The workers left behind obvious large streaks on several windows (zero attention to detail). I won't let them near my house again. Based on the previous 5 star reviews, I'm guessing something recently has changed within the company. I found out that one of my neighbors had their gutters cleaned out by this company, only to discover (after they left) that dirt and leaves were all over their car AND the side of the house. For how expensive Clear View is, the level of professionalism should match the cost. Hopefully they turn things around before it's too late. read more

Great service by Bradley yesterday. He and partner cleaned the gutters and washed the exterior of all windows on our 2.5 story townhouse in under 1 hour. (The estimated time we got over the phone was 2 hrs.) When it turned out that two high skylight windows were dusty from the inside, Bradley washed them for no extra charge. These windows were situated in a very difficult spot, with no wall to lean the ladder against, and hanging over the height of two stories under the ridge of a cathedral roof. Bradley propped his ladder against the top beam and bravely wielded the squeege hanging in the middle of the air, as it were, all the while. All the windows and window screens got excellent cleaning, and after the work was finished, no trace was left outside of all the debris that came down from the roof. The only complaint, they showed up about two hours ahead of schedule. I was in the middle of a work project and haven't started yet removing things from decks and balcony when they arrived. Not to worry, it turned out: in the end, they left the decks cleaner than they were before. We've used Clear View several times before, with good results most of the time. But this time beats all previous services. Next time I'm using the company, I'll be sure to ask for Bradley. read more
