Then they compacted the stone base. The final step included 2 layers of hot mix asphalt. Yes, they used 2 layers!!!! The final product is incredible. My neighbors said they can't believe how thick the entire surface became. They agree that our driveway is the best they have ever seen. The asphalt crew was very friendly and diligent. They don't have to return to fix any deficiencies. They did a great job tamping the edges. I'd like to thank Lynn Nissley, Sales Manager, for facilitating the entire process.
