Technician was discourteous and spoke in an impolite unplesant tone. He offered mobile services and once I stated my location he immediately became alarmed and said "we dont come there, I'll call u back". As a resident of Avondale Estates and City of Decatur for 50 years I was quite blown away. I currently own a Bentley GT, Maserati, and a Cadillac Supercharged V Series. I deal with many exotic and high end dealerships and this was very disparaging. He cut me off mid sentence and told me too listen for 3 mins. He undervalued me as a human being and a customer. At first he said to come to him because he is mobile. But then he was very deprecatory because of my zip code. I would recommend this experience to anyone. read more

Be very wary of this business. owner mattew adams is very very unprofessional, extremely dishonest and a bold face liar. first, there rates were a bit pricey, but I thought, if they do a great job, I have no problem paying a slightly higher price for quality work. From the onset, mr adams says ... if you are looking for someone cheap (which I find insulting, when I was calling for estimates to get an idea of anticipated cost of repair). I shared that I was looking for someone who would perform exceptional quality, and price was secondary for me. mr adams gave me a price range as he stated he couldn't give estimate without examining my vehicle. he stated that he would give me cost, perform service, and if I was not completely satisfied, the work would be free. so I scheduled for them to come to my place of employment to service my vehicle. after the service was complete, I handed over my credit card. it was then I was informed they do not take cards only cash. so he asked that I leave my office and ride with he and his counterpart to the bank to withdraw funds. I told him, first I am at work and cannot leave my place of employment at his discretion, but I can write a check. He stated that the check would be acceptable. So I made a check payable to Clear Like Crystal for the service rendered. I hand mr adams my check and then he says, I cannot accept this check because it is made out to 'Clear like Crystal', I need you to make it out to me, matthew adam. this made me very leary, so I asked if he was the business owner and he indicated that he was. then I ask if you are business owner, there would be no problem with you taking this check to bank and cashing. After he proceeded to become loud and threatening, I crossed-out the 'Clear Like Crystal' and wrote in his name and placed my initials where the change had been made. after making the modification to the check, mr adams was still dissatisfied and demanded I write him another check made payable to Matthew Adams. unfortunately I did not have another check to give him and indicated the check provided was sufficient for him to take to the bank and cash. After i refused to write another check or leave with him to go to the bank, he began getting very belligerent, threatening to call the police on me for theft of services. I was like what are you talking about, I have attempted to pay you and each form of payment was unacceptable to you, so call them, as a matter of fact I will call them for you. So i went to my office receptionist to have them contact our office police. while I was waiting in the lobby for the police, the police had already headed up to the upper deck where the incident occurred. As I approach, I hear mr adams, completely fabricating all manner of falsehoods. this gentelmen even went so far as to call his wife of the phone and have her pose as a BankofAmerica representative to have her tell the police my check was not good. I knew he was lying and the person he was speaking with was NOT a BOA representative as I had more than funds in my account to cover this poultry 300. So he comes over to the officer with supposedly a BOA rep on the line, and the officer puts her on speaker. The female then proceeds to state, the check was insufficient. I quickly jumped in and asked her to confirm the balance of my account (as I had already shown the officer my account balance from my smartphone), and she would not answer. then I asked her other identifying information about my account like the number of years I had the account as well as where the account originated, and she HUNG UP THE PHONE. after revealing himself for the liar he is, then tells the officer, well i am going to bank right now if I can cash the check, your service is free. I had the officer to write his statement in the report. Now I don't guess I have to tell you that he did not honor his commitment nor keep his word. THE CHECK WAS GOOD, IT WAS CASHED, AND HE DID NOT REFUND MY money. His words to me after he has secured the funds were ... refund your money NEVER. I have two Honda vehicles (1996 and 2004). One of the vehicles, 1996 Honda Odyssey badly needed the headlight shields renewed due to visibility at night. This vehicle will be my daughter's vehicle very soon and wanted to be sure she was able to be properly seen at night by other motorists. Matthew came out and renewed both of the vehicles headlights' shields. He further suggested that the older vehicle's halogens be changed to further increase visibility of being seen at night. i have to say. matt and clear like crystal are about as good as it gets. i called him around 10 am yesterday morning after doing some research online about headlight restoration. they were great on the phone and said they could actually fit me in later on in the day. matt showed up, went to work and an hour later my headlights look and feel BRAND NEW! it's pretty amazing. and all for a very reasonable price. matt was super professional, on time and very very informative. i highly recommend crystal clear to anyone who has foggy, scratched headlights that need to be restored. read more

I own a 1998 Mark VIII and I needed my headlights replaced. I checked with the local Lincoln dealer in Gwinnett county and the cost to replace the headlights was over $1200.00! I looked at the net and found "Headlight repair and restoration. What caught my eye was the word "Restoration". I gave Clear Like Crystal a call and spoke with Matt, the owner. Very professional. He never once mentioned the word "clean". He stated to me that they do total restoration to the headlights. Our car has only 42,000 thousand mile on it and now we have headlights that look exactly like they did the day we purchased the car. What an outstanding job! I am well overdue in writing this review, in that I was serviced in 2011. These folks did an outstanding job on my Acura. The left headlight on my car looked like a cataract with the heavy oxidation and calcification that took place over the years. I tried several cleaning solutions to fix the headlight with no success. I considered actually replacing the headlight (which would have cost $500 or so dollars) before I came across their website. At the time of my service, Clear as Crystal was a 2 person team. The owner(regretfully I do not recall the name) and his wife. They were extremely pleasant and a pleasure to work with. They came out to my home to see the issue, quoted me a price and completed the job right there. About 30-45 minutes later my headlight looked as brand new as the right headlight which I had recently replaced. To be honest, I was skeptical that anything/anyone could renew that headlight but they got it done. Excellent service and excellent job. I highly recommend. read more
