I came in this afternoon to replace my bad battery. I got assisted quickly by Bert. He was friendly, very patient, and determined to fix the security issue that happened while replacing the battery. It took a little while , but finally it was working and I was very happy with the service and speed. Thanks Bert!

I needed to replace a couple of air filters and a rear brake light on my car, so I looked online so…read morethat I wouldn't experience sticker shock at the store. I found out that I could order the three parts I needed through the NAPA website, pick them up the next day, AND get a 20% discount for ordering at least 3 parts on one order. Great deal! Ordering was easy, although I was confused because I was quoted one price online, then saw slightly higher prices in my notification email after placing my order (due to "estimated" state sales tax), and saw an even higher price (like $20+ mor) ewhen I got a "pending" charge notification from AmEx. Before making phone calls to try to correct these discrepancies, I decided to see how it played out. The next morning, I received an email notification to pick up my parts from NAPA Auto Parts in Sandy Springs. When I went to pick up my order, the helpful woman at the store asked for my photo ID and asked for my order number. She looked in the system for the location, quickly went to get my order and gave it to me, along with the receipt. I looked at the total on the receipt, and it was the correct price that I was expecting. Just to verify, I asked the employee if this was the actual price that I was going to be charged, and she told me yes. Fantastic! In the short 3 minutes that I was physically in the store, the three employees that I saw made sure that the customers in the store were being helped. The store looked very clean and organized. One customer (not me!) who had bought windshield wipers and was struggling to replace them on his car in the parking lot asked one of the employees to help him, and the employee cheerfully went outside to assist. Parking is free and plentiful. Before leaving for home, I opened the boxes just to make sure that they were the parts I needed. Air filter ... check! Cabin air filter ... check! Light bulb ... check! I replaced the old parts with the new parts when I got home, and it didn't take me long at all. What cost me $40 at NAPA would've cost me a little over $112, as quoted from a car repair place that changed my oil earlier during the week. Thank you, NAPA, for having a simple process for ordering parts that I could replace myself. Now, if you can just improve on the varying and confusing pricing of orders, it would be great! In the end, though, I was correctly charged for the parts, and incorrect pending charges were replaced with the right ones.

This store may not look like much, especially when compared to other, newer Advance Auto Parts stores, but it came through for me when I was looking to replace some interior light bulbs for my car. The Advance Auto Parts store near my home in Midtown was out of one of the two bulbs I needed. I was able to find both in-stock at this location. I got a set of 2 Sylvania bulbs for my AC control panel (model #2721, $4.99) and 2 Sylvania festoon bulbs for one of my dome lights (model #6418, $5.99). Like other Advance Auto Parts stores, this one was nicely organized. I was able to find both bulbs myself and was in and out in a matter of minutes. I replaced both bulbs in my car in the parking lot and made sure they worked before I left. To prevent theft, some of the more expensive bulbs (e.g. headlight bulbs) are kept behind the counter. You have to pick up a card from the aisle and exchange it for the actual bulbs at the counter. It's like how in the 80s and 90s, you would have to pick out a slip of paper and turn it in at the counter for a Nintendo game at Toys "R" Us.

Instead of the promised installation service I was supposed to receive with my battery purchase, I got junior trying to gaslight me into thinking that the battery technician doesn't work on my brand of vehicle. This is despite the fact that I watched the same exact tech (faultily) install the same battery a month ago. They will be kind enough to offer you a socket wrench and a single 10mm socket. You have to beg for the extender and additional sockets needed to actually make the swap yourself though. Luckily, I had company, because they treated the elderly woman parked next to me exactly the same, expecting her to remove and reinstall her own battery as well. Unless you are a trained mechanic, save the time and energy and go to O'Reilly or literally anywhere else.

Frankly, my experience was fair - not excellent and not terrible. Fall 2025 I came here upon…read morerecommendation and I was assured that I could trust the engine swap process. The 1st engine I received. There were some issues at the onset that should've given me pause: 1) I was told the swap would take "3-5 days". It took 14 (10 business days), twice as long as was quoted. Nov. 8th I drop the car off. Nov. 22nd I pick it up! 2) The first engine I received drove fine at first, but right at the 50 mile mark lights that had never come on in my vehicle before came on. Nov. 22nd I inform him of the lights, same day. . We go into the Thanksgiving holiday and I bring the car back on 11/28 for him to read the code himself and he cleared it. I was frustrated as my 2010 Camry had 0 issues outside of this old 2011 recall on the piston rings that caused excessive oil consumption (hence the swap). No other issues before this ad it's a good car. Dec. 1st the lights come right back on after hitting 50 miles. He said to try getting a new battery first - I bought a $400 battery. I wasn't the battery. I don't have the kind of job where I can just take off work. So that Saturday is when I took it to Autozone to get a diagnostic after Jimmy asked me to "confirm the code", on 12/6 it flagged as CAM sensors. One place could not read the car at all by the way which was weird. He told me to bring the car back to have the engine swapped again. At this point I am UPSET because I can't go another 2 weeks without my car and put my family in a hardship. I was ready to take my car elsewhere. He called and we talked it over and I took it. Jimmy swapped the engine again (picked it up 12/16, this all took over a month) and this time the engine worked great, no codes after over 200 miles of driving and no codes at all since. I'm happy with my engine...until it started gettin hot outside in the spring. On January 7th, I text Jimmy that I notice a huge puddle of water under my car in the parking deck at work. He asked me to check the radiator (removing the cap while the car was cool and took a look) and reservoir and both were at the proper levels. I moved on. Jimmy called a couple days later to make sure everything was fine and I had him on the phone while I checked again and also checked the oil and it was all fine. Again, I've experienced no issues with this second engine. Got my oil changed just ahead of 1000 miles as instructed and agreed to and moved on. Fast forward to March- my a/c isn't working at all. The heat works, but it will not blow out cold air. Prior to this, my 2010 Toyota could be depended upon to keep me cool every summer - never a leak and never had to get anything recharged or what have you. My a/c worked just fine. Keep this in mind. March 21st - I go to get my a/c checked, paying $60 for an a/c service check. I texted Jimmy to let him know exactly what they said and was VERY disappointed with this interaction. Think about it - this series of swaps all happened in the WINTER so I didn't have a need to turn on my A/C until it got HOT. There's no way I would've known until now - and it's outside of the little warranty he gives, of course. With this said, Jimmy proceeded to argue with what I'd shared with him. He said if there was an A/C issue, it would've shown up before now. Deny. Deny. Deny. At the end of the day, I shared what Tires Plus shared with me: "the way the lines were ran is what caused holes to rub into them due to the vibration of the engine. Perhaps a bracket or something was left off". They knew that WITHOUT me having to tell them anything. "Have you had any recent modifications done on your vehicle?" Both lines are leaking and they need to be replaced and the a/c recharged. That was the diagnosis. Why would this be the case? Jimmy didn't stand by his work. This issue with the A/C was certainly caused by how the engine swap was done and will cost me $1500 + the near $4000 I paid him. After everything is said and done: I was better off paying $6000 to simply have the dealership perform the piston rebuild based on the known recall. Disappointed and all I can say is: I regret it...Just save up and get an engine installed by the dealership or by a garage that ONLY works on Toyotas. Don't bring a good car down. I also have the text dialog, diagnostic paperwork and a/c service report to support the timeline as well as everything I've said here. This is a 100% honest and accurate review I hope it helps someone.
