The doctor told me I had dry eyes and the beginning of cataracts. My previous eye doctor had never mentioned this to me. He prescribed Meiobe which can have a ton of side effects. I only took it a couple of times & it made my eyes blurry. He also told me I had an ingrown eyelash, which I couldn't see or feel. He said even though it didn't bother me it bothered him so he supposedly removed it & he charged it to insurance. He wrote a new prescription for eye classes. I picked out of frames. I was told they were on backorder. I called several times & they weren't available. After a couple of months, I picked out some frames at another place and had my prescription filled. The prescription was way off. I went back to the Rosemore eye care and was told that I would have to get a new eye exam and pay for it because I got the glasses somewhere else. They actually told me that the other place might've put the lens in backwards I went to Plano eye associates in Plano and got a new exam. I do not have dry eyes or cataracts. The rosemore eye prescription had gone from a two to a three for my prescription and the new exam showed I needed a 2.5. I got the new prescription put in my new frames and they are wonderful. Rosemore only cares about money. They don't care about you.

Made an appt for a yearly exam, hoping it would include thorough macular degeneration exam. When signing in, I was asked if I had completed the forms sent to me earlier. Despite getting two appt reminder emails, and at least that many reminder texts, none of those included a link or anything about completion of forms, so I was given forms to read and sign at the office. After sitting down, an asst came over to "clarify" that there would be a $45 charge today, not covered by my insurance. What for, I asked, since I was not charged anything at all last year? For "the prescription" I was told. I said, what "prescription"? I had cataract lens replacement years ago and have only OTC readers now. She just said, it's for you to get a prescription. I wasnt aware I *needed* a prescription, but thought maybe this was some kind of term involved with checking the macula, so I said OK. Exam complete, no need for a glasses prescription per Dr., back of the eye looked at via photos, no apparently degeneration happening. Dr. said I needed to come back to have a more indepth retina exam to be sure". As I checked out, I once again asked about the extra $45 charge. A different asst said, "It's for your glasses prescription" I said, none was given to me, since I don't NEED one. Oh, she said, you should have scheduled your appt for a "Full Eye Exam", then insurance would have paid for it all. What? How was *I* to know the exact verbiate to use when I called? And why wasnt this clarified on th phone while making the appt? She said she was sorry, and would make a note for next year to the effect that I don't need a "prescription". I said the communication on this issue was very poor and surely she could understand why this was irksome. She merely smiled as I handed over my credit card. In any case, no, I will not be making another appt here for macular or regular eye exams. I am fortunate to be able to pay the $45 but wanted to let people know that they should be v-e-r-y careful with their verbiage when they make an appt here. Dr. did do a thorough regular eye exam, but somebody needs to address communication issues here.

I had to return to the store five separate times because of repeated mistakes with the measurements for my progressive and Transitions lenses. Despite multiple visits, the issues were never resolved correctly. What made this experience even more difficult is that I have mobility challenges. Every visit required a great deal of physical effort from both me and my husband, who had to push my wheelchair just so we could return to the store and clarify the ongoing problems. This was physically exhausting and emotionally draining. Most of the problems began with Kimberly. She made repeated errors from the start and recommended polarized lenses without taking the time to properly review whether they were appropriate for my vision needs. I trusted her professional advice, believing she had carefully considered what was best for my eyes. When Connie became involved, I hoped the situation would finally be corrected. Unfortunately, the measurements and service were still not accurate, and the problems continued. Throughout this process, my husband had to take on the responsibility of carefully reviewing every detail, asking repeated questions, and making sure everything was correct because we had lost confidence in the accuracy of the work being performed. In addition, I was disappointed by the way Kimberly spoke to my husband. Her attitude was unprofessional and discourteous, which only added to an already stressful situation. In the end, we accepted a full refund because the problems were never resolved. While we appreciate receiving our money back, it does not make up for the time, physical effort, stress, and inconvenience we endured over the course of five visits. We invested significant time and energy trying to resolve these issues, only to leave without a satisfactory outcome. I hope this complaint is taken seriously and used to improve the quality of care, professionalism, and attention to detail provided to future customers. No customer should have to experience what we went through.

I was disappointed in the selection of frames they had (seem mediocre), as I had seen a couple of frames online that I liked, and this place had nothing that resembled either. I was more than a little surprised to find out that the frames I had selected, the best of the bunch imo, were priced at over $200. Overall, my new pair of glasses cost me over $700 (I did get the "extras" regarding the lenses). This is on me, of course, because nobody forced me to pull the trigger on the purchase. Just saying, though, that I believe the "mark-up" on glasses here is pretty steep. Just my luck, I received a coupon in the mail 1 week later from JC Penney for a 60% discount. I've purchased glasses there before, and I was pleased. Oh, well. Live and learn.

From my initial phone call to set up the appointment, checking in with the receptionist, getting explanations at each stage of the appointment, and all the way to the frame/lens purchasing, it was the most informative and most confident I've ever felt walking out of a doctor's office. You can tell that Dr. Jessica Luong is very well educated and well versed in all things optometry. She was very thorough in her explanations, and she recommends what is best for the patient. The atmosphere in the office is modern and light--not like other offices where you're just dying to get out of there. Also, the staff is so friendly and welcoming, and they made my overall experience wonderful! Who knew that I could have so much fun at an eye exam? I love that this is also family-owned and operated. The two optometrists are brother and sister, and their mom helps out in the front--I am all about supporting family businesses, so this is just the cherry on top! I can't wait for my friends, coworkers, and family to ask for optometrist recommendations because I want to send everyone here so that they too can get the best eye experience. I wish all my doctor visits were like this because it makes me so much more confident when my doctor is as knowledgeable and can share their knowledge with their patients. I've never written a review this excited for a place that doesn't sell food, so I hope that whoever is reading this and is looking for a new optometrist, that you check this place out because I'm sure glad I took the chance!

Within minutes, I was escorted to the back by a young lady who asked me questions about my medical history and took some eye readings and turned out we had the exact same pair of eye glasses which progressed into a long discussion about our favorite imported frame vendor! I didn't get her name but she was very personable. Then came my eye exam with Dr. Peterson who listened to my concerns and was able to hook me up with a prescription for new reading glasses. There were some pretty cool high tech features that came into play while he was doing my eye exam. He was also pretty funny and has a great music selection playing in the waiting room (this is one of those things I take notice of anytime I'm in a business and makes an impression on me). Last, was my interaction with Ray who helped me pick out a new pair of glasses. He was very helpful in recommending frames to try on while still letting me do my own thing and he was also very patient while I struggled to make a decision. One thing I love about this practice is their vast selection of designer frames. I've been to other practices where I struggle just to find "a" pair that is decent. I have the opposite problem here (can't decide on which one I like most!). This is my 3rd pair of glasses I've purchased from this location. I would highly recommend everyone to give them a try especially if you're new in town or looking to switch providers.
