Been needing to get my eyes checked for quite some time and finally made it in…read more Optometrist and rest of staff members were very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Even though we visited on a Saturday we were able to get in and out quickly. I scheduled my appointment the day of easily and my boyfriend was able to get a walk in appointment near the same time as me. As for where you pick out your glasses (just next door) Over all experience went well. They accepted my insurance and were helpful to let me know what's covered and what else I could get but not overly pushy to make upgrades. They had mainly specialty name brand glasses however a decent selection of clearance items as well as a sale going on. I was able to leave Paying almost nothing even after adding the non glare. Was promised they'd be ready in two weeks and it only took one. Just Picked them up today and am extremely happy with the way they fit and that I can see again. Thank you VW.

Recently I found myself back at this location to get glasses for my son. The initial visit was uneventful and we were in and out quickly. Nearly 4 weeks later the only communication I had received from them was an emailed progress report that simply read "order delayed" with no other details. This prompted me to call the store to inquire about the status. In the past, orders only took that long because the glasses weren't made correctly the first time around so I assumed this was the case again. However, the only explanation for the delay this time was that they must have gotten lost in the mail. The person at the store was unapologetic, yet did proceed to reorder them. She said she had no idea when the glasses would be ready but promised to call me the moment they arrived. That never happened. Instead, I had to contact them after nearly 2 weeks with no word on the order just to find out that the 2nd pair was already in the store. To their credit they did grant my request to start the 12 month warranty from the time I actually received the glasses as opposed to the original order date which was over a month prior. I'm fully aware that these locations are merely store fronts and no longer make the glasses in house like they once did, therefore production or shipping mistakes aren't necessarily their fault. Given that, it makes their role as customer service providers that much more important. It wasn't until I went to the Grapevine location where I received better service from the staff and management that I was enlightened to what I was missing. I will stick to using that location for all future purchases.

I came to him after receiving a new eyeglasses and contacts prescription from a chain. Unfortunately, the new prescription was too strong, leading to a constant eye twitch, and my astigmatism went without treatment. I thought I was stuck with the twitch, yet Dr Hashemi assured me he could get to the bottom of the issue. Here, I was given a new pair of classy and comfortable glasses with the right prescription and lenses that are good for blue light and astigmatism. The doctor is knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. Yolanda, the manager, helped me to pick out my glasses and I am so happy with the end result. The frames are sassy and complement my facial structure, the perfect combo! I will absolutely return as a loyal customer and I recommend y'all check out EyeClinic Medical

Dr. Hamid Hashemi is not even a human being. I stopped and visited his office and asked to look at…read moresome new frames. He was very rude and told me I could not come inside to have a look at the variety of frames on display because I did not have a prescription. He didn't even bother to ask me if I have a prescription. I then responded and said I'm only looking around for new frames, why can't I come inside to have a look at the frames on display. Dr. Hashemi's response was don't worry about it. This is in reply to Lois N. After reviewing Dr. Hashemi's professional history from his Eyeclinic Medical practice in Lewisville, Tx, Dr. Hashemi may be the best eyeclinic around, but he is definitely not a kind and gentle man. Sorry to disappoint you. This is in reply to sharleen S. Dr. Hashemi may be very informative as a medical professional and have the greatest customer service at his office, but he is not as wonderful as a person. This is in reply to Makenna D. Dr. Hashemi may be very knowledgeable, but he sure has an issue with knowing kindness. This is in reply to Marcas R. Dr. Hashemi may be an excellent professional, thorough and genuinely attentive, but the bottom line is with all his tenure, and aquired training and education from Schools of Technology and Medical Universities, what he should have specialised in is Moral conciousness and Ethical behavior.

I've been to this location 3 times, one per each of the last 3 years. First year I was there, my…read moreeye glasses had to be corrected 2 times because they were not good to me. I was told that it was maybe because I was used to "cheap" eyeglasses (I used to have them done in Walmart, or Sam's or Costco). Second year I went there, I was sure my measure had changed because I was kind of uncomfortable with the old eyeglasses. The doctor told me that the measure had not changed but pointed out that my 62 year old eyes were not the same as younger eyes. Really? Do we need a reminder we are getting old? I decided not to be so sensitive and gave them another opportunity this year, because I believe in second chances. BIG MISTAKE! After waiting for a week or more, I was told my eyeglasses had been sent to another location in a different state. Then, when I finally got them, once again, I could not read with them. They took it back to make an adjustment. Mind you, this time I was wearing THEIR glasses, not the "cheap" ones, as before, so it was not a matter of adjusting to a better quality. A week or more after I received the new eyeglasses. The left lens was incorrectly cut and kept falling off the frame. Took the eyeglasses back for yet another fixing. 3 weeks in a row I was told that the eyeglasses were going to be ready "next week", and Brian kept apologizing profusely for all the issues. After the 3rd time the eyeglasses were not ready when I was told they were going to be ready, Brian told me they were giving me the money back (I did not ask for it, he offered it), which they did. Today I went there decided to just get my prescription and have the eyeglasses done somewhere else. Something I didn't do before, because I did not want to wait again for the glasses to be ready somewhere else. This time the glasses were finally there. Out came Brian with the eyeglasses, and put them on the table while telling me that they did not have any warranty anymore because they had refunded me with the cost. Again, I did not ask for it! So, at this point, I hope this time the glasses are fine, because I will have to start all over again somewhere else if they are not, due to the refund and lack of warranty. Needless to say, I WILL NOT GO BACK THERE. I have never given a review before, but this time I really felt the need to do it, not as a revenge, but an opportunity for them to improve their service, and an advise to any other want-to-be customer, so that they don't have to go through what I did.

Staff was friendly and professional. Genesis was amazing with the insurance details and benefits!…read moreMade the appointment smooth and quick! Will definitely recommend this practice to everyone

My search for top quality and highly trained ophthalmology care is over -- North Dallas Eye in…read moreFlower Mound (they have other locations as well) is terrific! My entire life I've had complex eye issues (since birth) and luckily NDEA is IN network and very conveniently located next to the hospital with easy parking and new, clean and modern offices (elevator too if needed and not crowded -- office on 3rd floor). Fill out the online forms ahead of time and you do not have a long wait at all. Staff is super friendly (thanks especially to Melissa and Amanda) and guides you through front desk, testing, dilating, exam room, etc with ease. They introduce themselves and you feel safe and not forgotten throughout your time in the office. I hit the jackpot with Dr Elieff (he's IN network with my insurance!!) as he is very well trained at IU and has been practicing for many years but he is energetic and eager to meet new patient like me (many docs are not just run through the motions) and he truly listens (bring your list of questions so you don't forget) -- he is so thorough and helpful in his exam by taking the time to explain everything to me in a kind yet non intimidating or patronizing way. Dr. Elieff gave me current solutions and also long term realistic expectations of what to expect as I get older. My issues have changed over the years from strabismus to dry eyes to vision to eyelid pain to cataracts in my family history and he addressed them ALL. Scheduling my next appointment was easy, paying co pay was clear and fair and they give an itemized receipt for your taxes and they send appointment reminders as the date draws near. I also noticed how KINDLY the doctor and staff talked to each other as well as elderly patients -- I point this out because this is not always the case at other offices -- this is an office that VALUES each person and doesn't just treat you like a number. Each one has issues that are crucial in their life and you feel like they get that importance and you for the time at this office are a VIP with medical professionals who are going to help your life improve! I highly recommend North Dallas Eye and my husband will have appointment with Dr Ku next month -- if you need top quality ophthalmology care by highly trained medical doctors (not just optometry -- actual MD's) please try any of the locations at North Dallas Eye Associates!! I will SEE you there -- get it?!
