Thank you to Jake and the service you provided. Orange County pool service delivers on its name!…read moreFirst I had a leak as water was draining each night from jacuzzi back into the pool. I called and had another well known pool service company come out. They said pool had a leak and I needed a specialist. Well Jake came out as a second opinion and he was pretty sure from our phone conversation what the problem was and it wasn't a leak. He was right it was a defective back flow valve. He replaced it that same day. He also pointed out some problems with my filter. It had cracks in it due to age and sun exposure. He recommended replacing the old DE filter with a new filter one. No more DE, no more backwashing needed, quicker to clean and cost effective. I was sold and he came back the next day and replaced the old with the new! He is knowledgeable, took time to explain my system and answer my questions. He offered some suggestions which I appreciated. He wasn't a salesman but a friendly, helpful and very qualified pool specialist! He offers repairs or also has weekly service available. I was extremely happy. The cost for the consultation went into the repair which I thought was great. He gave the price upfront and there were no add-ons. If you have problems- this is the company to call!

I contacted Stephen and he immediately responded. He first provided me guidance of what I could do on my own to save me a diagnostic fee. I appreciated this feedback. Unfortunately, my system still needed someone to fix it. He made an appointment for the following day and was prompt in arrival time. He uses an app that provide you an estimated time of arrival as well as his location on a map. It allowed me to plan for his arrival (this is something FedEx uses). He is well spoken and clean cut. His knowledge is the best I've had. He's very well-versed with Pentair systems. Not only did he review what was wrong with the system but he checked all other parts of our pool (lights, heat, salt system, fill,, drain) He took his time and trained me on what to look for. I wish that he repaired more than pools because I would hire him for everything. You will be very pleased if you hire him for a repair.

I even recommended him to my neighbor. I didn't realize my neighbor had to get on the horn to get him to finish the job, which he did do, with some hassle. I didn't know about this until recently. Chad is a down to earth guy and I completely trusted him. Turns out if you read the reviews on Chad Taylor at this site, they are completely accurate. It was excuse after excuse and lie after lie to drag this job out through the summer. When I gave him the check for $900 my wife said he could just take that money and cash it for himself and not even order a Jacuzzi top for us amongst other things. I thought she was paranoid. Turns out she was right. When I was in 2nd grade my teacher asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. Some of the kids said astronaut, or engineer or professional athlete, etc. Imagine what Chad would say: "I want to be a crook, and a liar." Chad would grow up to be exactly as imagined. I didn't bother to complain to Mission Valley Spa. Based on prior yelp reviews; I figured they wouldn't help me at all.

They are rude, non responsive, late, and did not show up without notice multiple times. Wasting multiple days of my time. (See text messages) I highly recommend you do not use them for any service and save hours of wasted time/ headaches by using someone else. My experience with them went like this: I called to confirm the appointment, they declined the call and said to text them. I did and they never responded. Day of the appointment I called again to confirm and they finally picked up after the 3rd time. They said they would come that day but never showed up. I asked why they never texted back and they had excuses for everything. We rescheduled, same thing happened again. 2 days I waited all day at home for them to come and no show up. 3rd time they finally end up showing up (late by the way). And they never submit the report to home warranty. I called home warranty and guess what they said, they are not picking up calls from them either LOL
