BEWARE! MAKE SURE THEY DISCLOSE HOW MUCH TIME THEY ARE GIVING YOU TO DO A DEEP CLEANING BEFORE YOU AGREE TO USE THEM! IN THE AGREEMENT THEY SENT, THEY SPECIFICALLY SAY THE CLEANERS STAY UNTIL THE JOB IS FINISHED....but 3 1/2 hours into the job the cleaners told me they had a half hour left and the owners argued that there is a set time given for the deep cleaning contrary to the agreement they sent. I hired them to do a deep cleaning for my bungalow, one large main room, medium size bedroom and tiny bath and kitchen. I sent a detailed description and indicated it was a level 9 job. But they are never really clear about what a deep cleaning is, other than 'more thorough". THIS is the main problem. One of the company's complaints was that the cleaner had to take things out of my medicine cabinet in order to clean the shelves!! When I asked how do they clean shelves if they don't take things off the shelf they said "well if its a picture frame alright" Huh? On the website they say they will mop vacuum or handwash the floors but the company complained that the cleaners would have had to "move things" in order to clean the floors!! ( a few tv trays and small stand) Either way they never got that far. So be prepared to ask them...What Exactly is a deep cleaning?? So they charged an extra $65 to "deep clean". Fine. They also charged an extra $10 to wash my dishes (wondered why this wouldn't be considered part of regular or deep cleaning but...fine) and an extra $29 to clean out fridge. Fine. Total for regular cleaning one time $119, add the extras it came to $204 (with first time discount) Fine, BUT the cleaner showed up, (absolutely pleasant and good cleaner) and brings a helper she had to hire herself, which meant they sent one cleaner to do a Deep Cleaning on a one bedroom bungalow and gave her 4 hours to do it. After 3 1/2 hours of cleaning I am informed that they only had a half hour left!! - During that time only the bathroom (very small) got thoroughly and beautifully cleaned and only 1/3 of the kitchen, also tiny, got cleaned; stove cleaned, front and inside of fridge BUT excluding the dishes, the floor, the counter tops, shelves, cupboard doors and the fact that nothing else in the bungalow was touched... WHAT?? I was NEVER told that the $204 of deep cleaning included only 4 hours of cleaning. In fact I received an email that day that outlined the job and it specifically said cleaners stay until deep cleaning is Done. For regular cleaning they are given allotted hours. So after arguing with the company they reduced the rate down to $161 saying they had to pay for the cleaners time and they of course gave themselves a profit. It is not my responsibility to pay for the cleaners time or their profit. It is my responsibility to pay for the job rendered. So they wanted me to pay $161 to have my tiny bungalow bathroom and a third of my tiny kitchen cleaned and nothing else done. I broke the rate down to what they charge on their website and what was actually done and it came to $85 worth of service out of the $200 they were going to charge me for deep cleaning my bungalow. Which I am more than happy to pay. Of course I am disputing with the CC company. Buyer Beware! read more

I've been using this company for about 2 years now and cleanings have been hit or miss but not as bad as a few days ago. After leaving the normal written instructions for the two cleaners I came home to find the restroom, and bedroom unfinished. I contacted Cleaning Tribe and provided photos along with texts from the cleaners who were over an hour late. I was provided a refund on services and when I asked if I could get more seasoned cleaners for next month I was told that they would no longer provide my account with services. I've spoken with Able in the past and I think he's a great businessman but this manager has decided to no longer provide me with services because I complained about a cleaning. My house was not it great shape, so I paid extra for a deep clean and some additional services. They quoted me the cleaners would be here for 5 hours, but they left after 2 (they left while I ran errands and my boyfriend was home). They barely cleaned the house! Half the floors weren't mopped, there's dog hair everywhere, they couldn't even be bothered to wipe down the sink. I also found dirty baking pans hidden in my oven. read more

THEFT, DO NOT USE! The cleaners stole items from my home. Various pieces of globally collected art and baskets were taken from my home. The company has been slow to handle the solution. I had to call the cleaners directly to demand my items be returned to my home immediately. They claimed they thought I was getting rid of the items, even though they were all still in protective wrappings. (even if I was, they should have asked). Even after the return, an item was still missing. Though it was just one of the baskets (not the most valuable item), it took over 3 weeks (and counting) to replace. With various back and forth calls and emails to replace an item that I sent the company an Amazon link to, so they could immediately replace. The local manager made an excuse that she was sick, and that's why I haven't received my item yet. It's really the principle of things that left a bad taste in my mouth. The idea that someone could walk into my home and walk out with my things and the company not do everything they can to remedy the situation is appalling! -- UPDATE The final missing item was shipped back a couple weeks after I reported it taken. The company assured me that the cleaners said they didn't have the item, and would be purchasing a new/similar replacement. Upon opening the package I discovered that I was shipped my original taken item, not something new. Which is fine, but still more lies from the company. read more

Each time, they left my home impeccably clean, went above and beyond my expectations, paid attention to tiny details and were prompt and kind. Based on their reviews, I decided to give Cleaning Tribe a try with my Aunt's house for her birthday. She's very picky but decided to give it a shot. So happy we went with them. We booked online (which was easy, why isn't everyone doing this?) and received a confirmation email followed up with reminders leading up to the day of. On the day of, they were on time, thorough, and followed up with a call when they were done to let us know everything went well. When my Aunt walked through her home, she was shocked that she didn't clean it herself. She's very nit-picky and will look for mistakes and places they could have missed. She hates it when other people clean her home and is very hesitant about cleaning companies. Not these guys though. She couldn't find a spot missed. Tops of shelves, door trim, behind and under the couch, all cleaned. Her home isn't a disaster by any means, but that doesn't mean you can't miss spots. Cleaning Tribe nailed the cleaning! I highly recommend using this company. There prices seem fairly reasonable, the company is professional, and the service was great! Their customer support is very responsive and on top of that, and we appreciate that A LOT. The first time we used them, we had a less than positive experience but they responded with a re-trial for us and the second crew they sent was INFINITELY better! They did a great job with the house, from mopping the floors, to taking the trash out etc. The 2 things I will say about this company is make sure you clarify that you are getting their regular crew - they will sometimes substitute crews on busy weekends and that's where we had issues. Secondly, we've never had another company that gave us a 2 hour arrival window. Because of our schedules, that is super important to us to be able to ask for a certain time of arrival and have that happen. Cleaning tribe helped me do a move-out cleaning from my place when I graduated university. My room was spotless when I left - which is really saying something because I lived in a frat house! The maids were on-time and very courteous and understanding of the condition the room was in. Booking was super easy and simple, and there weren't any issues with payment... which is not the case for pretty much every other cleaning company I used in LA. We came back to a home that looked transformed like the day we first moved in. They even organized our little closet that was a mess with all children toys. I really blame myself for this one as I did not do my due diligence and check out the previous negative Yelp reviews before hiring this company. We hired the Cleaning Tribe to do "deep clean" of our 2bed 1.5 bath apartment, paying extra for the oven and refrigerator. We pre-organized the placed so that the cleaner could focus solely on deep cleaning and attending to areas we do not have time to clean. To her credit, the kitchen, and fridge look great. The inside of the oven is very clean, but she neglected to clean the broiler. Neither bathroom was cleaned- AT ALL. No cobwebs were dusted and she left her duster behind. She was here for four hours and I cannot think of what she did in that time, except for a lot of service wiping...this was not a "deep clean". I cannot reccomend this service to anyone. read more

One star for customer service, 3 stars for the cleaning. Was quoted a price on the phone (for number of bedrooms and square footage), but upon arrival was told that the home was bigger than expected and would cost more to clean. I eliminated 2 rooms to clean to come back to the original price, but the discussion was incredibly frustrating. For the cleaning, was originally very impressed with cleaning of bathrooms, bedrooms and carpeted area, although several pieces of artwork (lightweight canvas) had been knocked off the wall of a bedroom. But for the main level of my home, after doing a good job on my kitchen, I noticed they were using a large industrial wet mop to clean my hardwood floors. Letting a large amount of water sit on the floors like that can lead to warping, so I asked them to stop while I wiped down 2 rooms. They asked if they could continue cleaning the floors with my spray cleaner, but the bottle was out so they did not. I also noticed that the floors had not been thoroughly vacuumed prior to the mop, a large amount of the mop water had been pushed/accumulated around an area of electrical cords, and anything moved for cleaning was not put back in it's original spot. Finally, I paid extra to have my refrigerator cleaned, we will see how customer service responds to email explaining that that did no happen. So... $250 for 3.5 hours of cleaning, that was supposed to be a "deep clean"? 100% NOT worth it read more
