Me and my wife needed help Cleaning up a Rental property that we had to Evict the tenant due to Reasons of Sanitation and lack of paying rent... What we walked in to was a horrible mess and we where both overwhelmed with how to deal with the issue. Emma actually missed two appointments, the first was after I believe a fishing trip, she called and told me how she and her daughter were ill and were not be able to come that morning.... this was 15 minutes before her appointment. The second was when she had a problem with her knee and she texted me 13 minutes before she was supposed to show up, not 30 minutes, not sure where you are getting 30 minutes from, maybe she talked to you before contacting me, but she only texted me 13 minutes before she was supposed to come over. When I called you to complain I advised that I wanted someone to come by same day because I had plans, if not, that Thursday, you advised that you would not have someone available till 2 weeks later, then 2 weeks late night I receive a text saying you had no one, needless to say I was not pleased. I recognize that you are a small company which is why I waited so long to write my review, but others need to know what they're getting into when they use you. I am human as well and was not treated respectfully. I was very understanding when she canceled the first time, hence why I did not complain to you (i took it for granted that she notified you), but twice shows a pattern and lack of professionalism....hence my review. Very good service! It's not always easy to find a solid, courteous cleaning service in Philadelphia, so I'm always a bit nervous, but the Cleaning Fairies were fantastic! Donna and her Cleaning Fairies are highly recommended. Based on the Yelp reviews I contacted Donna via phone to get a quote for a deep post-construction clean. I got a quote immediately over the phone and arranged the clean for the following week. On the day of the clean, Donna confirmed the appointment and turned-up on time. Donna and Penny provided a fabulous service at my house. They did a thorough post-construction clean. From vacuuming the unfinished attic, dusting and cleaning all surfaces, trim, kick-boards, bathrooms and kitchen plus giving the hard wood floors a good clean. They showed great attention to detail and left everything immaculate. They were also really flexible - working around some unexpected sewer issues and also some other contractors working at my property at the same time. Not ideal, but they worked around the situation without any problems and completed their work. Donna was a pleasure to deal with - easy to contact to get a quote and confirm arrangements. I had just moved to NJ from being overseas and I was having family come to visit so you could imagine the panic and headache from the overwhelming task of cleaning and organizing my house....well, Ms. Donna came to the rescue. A couple months after that I was scheduled to deploy so I was able to get her in for a deep clean. She's very friendly, extremely honest and reliable. She's very thorough but gets in an out quick...she doesn't believe in shortchanging customers or stretching her hours. Been busy, so a bit of a delay on this review. I hired Cleaning Fairies about a month ago. I have tried several different cleaning services in the Philadelphia area, and none have come close to Cleaning Fairies. Our apartment was absolutely spotless. Penny cleaned our place and did a spectacular job (I still do not know how she basically turned our bathtub into a new bathtub). In addition to the cleaning the communication was excellent as well. Cleaning done well requires establishing a relationship. If you want someone to never cancel on you, then get "the Maids" or whatever. And they'll do a crappy job on a regular basis. Just smear stuff around and vacuum with some creepy cleaner that never gets emptied. And lord knows what they are paying those poor women. If you want someone you can trust to treat your home as if it were her own, call Donna. I am SO happy with the cleaning I just received. (and frankly, I am beyond neat freak.)
