I didn't receive any tangible advice or suggestions on how to approach cutting my hair when I said I didn't know and that I normally leave it to the barber. I told the barber I normally get "sports cuts" and he said he didn't know what that means and ended that conversation right there. I felt resistance towards requesting further adjustments (and ended up getting charged 20 dollars more for it) from the barber. Maybe he was having a bad day, but he didn't seem friendly nor accomodating so the whole experience felt more like a confusing chore rather than a treatment.
