Only 60 degrees and it was chilly inside. I called and the owner "Don" told me they were buried with calls and couldn't get to me for a few days. I called another company that runs lots of advertising "Big Name" and what a mistake that was. They came out repaired something and charged me over $400. The next day the furnance started acting up again. I called them back and they decided it had an expensive part that needed to be ordered +$1200. I decided to call "Don" at Abby's back and told him what was going on. Here it was Christmas Eve and he dropped everything and came to our rescue. He too said the part the other guys mentioned needed to be replaced. He just happened to have one in his truck. Plus he told us it was under warranty and sent it in for us. End of the story he had it fixed and running quickly and only charged us $200. Called the other "Big Name" guys asking to be reimbursed the $400 that didn't fix my problem. The person who called me said he would let their office know of the above, and have someone call me back right away. No one ever called back! We discussed the problem and Brett got right to work. Brett helped me with the ceiling tiles in the basement that had been damaged when the shower overflowed onto the floor and leaked down into the basement. Then he went to the shower and power rodded the drain and discovered a giant wad of hair that had been obstructing the drain. He made sure that the drain was free flowing and then cleaned everything up so it was all neat and tidy. Brett was very knowledgeable and explained everything in a thorough manner. So far they've been great for us. The most recent example was today. I had spent the entire morning trying to get our sump pump to work, and had tried everything to thaw the pipes. I had come to the conclusion that maybe it was the pump itself that was having issues, so I decided to give them a call. The person I spoke with was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and had someone sent out same day to take a look. I believe his name was John and he was excellent. Super friendly and knew his stuff for sure. In the end it did turn out to simply be frozen pipes, but John took care of it, and not to mention had to work outside on the coldest day we've had in a long time. Our home is older, and we discovered that our kitchen piping had been slowly eroding in the basement crawl space for years before finally bursting. This caused sewage water from our sink and dishwasher to seep into our concrete cinder block basement wall. Within hours, the Rausch Plumbing team had completely re-piped the entire system and provided helpful recommendations for potential restoration work. These guys were outstanding!
