Tear It Up did an outstanding job! I am so pleased with their services and price. I wasn't…read moreexpecting such a reasonable price to remove ceramic tile from 2 bathrooms (around the shower & toilet area), flooring from a full-size kitchen with breakfast nook area, and a connected walk-in pantry. The entire kitchen area and pantry had a stupid subfloor (don't ask me why but it was just there) underneath the laminate tile (compressed fiber board of all things) which raised that whole area up above the rest of the rooms. So the laminate flooring and all of this subflooring underneath had to be removed. The bathrooms had ceramic tile installed in a mud bed. Very hard stuff. Hosea with Tear It Up had his work cut out for him. He did a very excellent job with no damage to the wood surface underneath. Hosea is a quiet guy so you won't even know he's there except for the tools used to do the job. Communication with Tear It Up was awesome and they were on time each day to do the job. It took a day and a half for Hosea to do the work (this surprised the heck out of me). Trust me if it was me doing it with all the proper tools I would just sell the house and start over! Lol. Hosea worked effortlessly and cleaned up as he worked. Afterwards I heard him just sweeping, vaccuming, and cleaning up... For a moment I thought he was going to do the dishes! Hosea you could have, I wouldn't have mind. I know this is a long review but I am very happy with Tear It Up! And I like the name... They get the job done right. I only paid $900 for all that work!!! I was expecting much more. They don't surprise you with additional charges after the job is done. What you're quoted for is exactly what you will pay. They take payments via, CashApp, PayPal, credit/debit, or even cash. For all your floor removal needs here in the Columbia SC area, call Tear It UP! And just maybe Hosea will do your dishes...

The ductwork installer, Tri-City was already booked up and suggested I contact Sincerely Yours. Sincerely Yours contracts out their duct cleaning services on an as needed basis. Clean Aire is what they use most of the time. I have to wait and see a few more days before I know if the entire house duct-cleaning has improved the overall air quality of my home. After a $50 discount, I paid $295 for a whole house duct cleaning with Oxine (some kind of mold and germ killer). The company isn't on the NADCA list for South Carolina, but I think I would have had to pay a whole lot more if they had been - probably 3 or 4 times more than what their competitors are asking for. And there's no guarantee the work performed by a NADCA certified company would have been any different. OCTOBER 31, 2013 FOLLOW-UP Just like the EPA.gov website said, duct cleaning may not always be a good idea. In my situation, my air handler was vandalized with sheetrock on August 15, 2013. In addition to paying Clean Aire to sweep it out, I also paid two different environmental labs to analyze the debris I found in my home. The second test showed that I have a lot of particulates in my home. And my sinuses can attest to that. I only wish there was a sure (ethical) solution to a problem that began with vandals.

None of this worked. Christmas was coming and I needed the main floor of my house cleaned, and a deep clean for the downstairs. We agreed that both would happen on the first clean. I was excited with the deal we struck. Here comes disaster. The day of the first cleaning I waited 4 hours for the 2 cleaners to arrive! I called the office to find out what was going on. The person on the phone was rude and said she'd check. She should have kept me posted all along as they were running so late. Finally, one person came and she'd been told to do the downstairs deep clean! Only! It was close to 5PM and I was way overdue to leave. My house is 3,000 + sq feet. Not a quick clean. No cleaning was done that day. i called the office again, again the person was rude and argued with me. I was shocked. I asked to speak to Mike, she said she didn't know how to reach him! Later she said he would call me. I wanted to straighten things out with him. He never called. I was so shocked and frustrated I cancelled the service. The worst of it was how the phone person behaved, argumentative and disrespectful. She could have saved the day She should have tried to help me and straightened things out. If she worked for me I would fire her.

Unfortunately, I had to take a family member to the emergency before they were done, but they assured me that they could finish without me being present (big mistake!!). I got a call from MMaid while I was sitting in the ER waiting room that they needed to extend the time to get to the upstairs!! (That increased the cost from $450 to $600. When we returned to the house, upstairs baseboards were still dirty, the refrigerator freezer was dirty, the lower oven was dirty, and some kitchen cabinets were still dirty. We ordered a move out cleaning and had to go over everything ourselves. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Stay away unless you want to throw 100's of $$ down the drain.
