Palmetto Commercial Services and team were such a blessing…read more My rental home in Lexington SC sold and my renters were hoarders and turns out drug users. Mike Y went above and beyond with the clean out of the home and property. He worked closely with my realtor by meeting her at the property when I was unable to, due to work restraints. His bid for the project was to remove 12 years of hoarding. They did exactly what I needed them to. It would have taken me a month or more to get it all removed properly and they did it in less than 2 days. Mike Y was and is very impressive, Very professional. Very reliable and the price quote was three times less than what I expected. I had talked with 2 other companies regarding the clean out but Palmetto Commercial Services was definitely a cut above the rest. I highly recommend them if your needing a lot of junk removed in short order, safely, efficiently and cost effectively.

We were also in the process of removing all the wood paneling from the walls and tearing up the carpet, and he offered to take that project on as well. He provided a very fair quote, maybe even not high enough, and worked hard every day with his team to get the job done in a timely manner. He even uncovered several other problems during the process and his team fixed those as well at a fair price. The new drywall, painting, and flooring all looks great!

Having recently relocated to the Midlands last August, after finally settling in to my new home,…read moregiven the heavy rains we experienced this past fall & winter, and being prone to allergies, I decided as part of addressing issues and concerns in my home, (especially given the previous owners had a dog) I would get the ducts cleaned & sterilized to help reduce risk of mold & mildew allergens floating around inside my home. I called True Care carpet and Air Duct Cleaning after researching a number of local options, and based on my needs, with a reasonable budget in mind, I reached out to these folks Upon contacting them, they were responsive, and able to address my duct cleaning in a very timely manner. Two days after contacting them, I was met bright & early this morning by Carey, one of True Care's technicians, who was friendly & polite, and ready to methodically commence work on the 16 ducts and two air returns, as well as my dryer exhaust vent. Not only did Carey come prepared with all the necessary tools & coverings he may have needed to protect any furniture or electronics which debris may fall onto, but he was even helpful in assisting me to move the bed frame in my master bedroom a bit, so he could easily get on a ladder and open the vent directly above it! While I pretty much let Carey do his thing & tried not to impede his progress, I would occasionally get up to walk around my home and stop by where he was working to check on progress, and I could easily tell how dedicated he was to really going above & beyond to perform the job to the best of his ability, and documenting the work performed (as they provide you with before & after photos of their work after the job, so you have a visual record of the work *very helpful if your thinking of selling your home and want to show some "value added" to any potential buyers. After Carey finished with the indoor ducts & air returns, and the inside dryer vent, he then went outside, and scaled the side of my home with some special vent dryer brushes & proceeded to eliminate any remaining lint blobs that were pushed through the vents out of the vents, to be collected and thrown into the trash. The dryer vent cleaning really provided me with peace of mind after seeing what was dislodged, especially given the fact I tend to do laundry a few times a week, and therefore the lint buildup in the vent system could potentially become an issue (I understand a big cause of house fires) and I certainly wouldn't want that, so that one aspect of the cleaning alone (to me) was well worth the overall reasonable cost to have the ducts cleaned & disinfected, as well as possible harmful lint removed from the vent shaft in my house. Can't say enough about how Professional & personable Carey was while working in my home, he's very dedicated to his work, and worked quietly and efficiently. If you're seeking Air Duct cleaning and looking for dedicated professionals who actually know what they're doing, & don't play the ole' bait & switch, upsell swindle-game, you should consider the friendly folks of True Care Carpet & Air Duct Cleaning. I can't praise them enough for the tremendous job they did, and the attention to detail they provided in performing their work. Thanks for a job well done fellows!.. I am now your customer advocate, & will gladly be referring any family, friends, or neighbors to you if they're seeking similar work done on their air ducts or carpet, couch, or drape cleaning! Respectfully, `JT

After they left the smell was absolutely horrible. Not realizing this was not normal we let our dogs out only to find that sewerage had been spilled all over our yard. The dogs of course got in it and all three needed immediate baths. In less than a week our tank had water coming out by the clean out. When we called and dealt with Kelly the most unprofessional arrogant person I have ever spoke to in my 66 years she said we needed new leach lines and swore the truck was not full when they emptied our tank. When two guys came back one told me the truck was so full the first time that their hoses had leaked on our yard and he tried to cover it with dirt. Never told us of course so we could have properly cleaned it up. Which took my husband over an hour to do because they spilled sewage everywhere. After a heated argument with Kelly they came back out to repump. She said Mark my words it will be full again in a month. The month is up and we have had no more problems. The tank was just not drained the first time. She told me I didn't have to pay the second time but the people who admitted to not pumping properly the first time made me pay half price! Crooks for this company is an understatement. We paid $540. for a pump out and a giant mess. Kelly now has someone else answer the phone and will not return my calls. I would think it only far that I did not have to pay twice to have a job done right. On the second trip out the tank was also full and they dumped some sewerage back into our septic tank telling me this is normal practice. Please think twice before you trust this awful company to even pull a truck in your yard.
