Used them twice in about two months for home pre-inspection, and totally satisfied. Knowledgeable and communicative, and fairly priced.

Inspection Trifecta - More rust

Inspection Trifecta

We had our home inspection a few months ago. No concerns with the air conditioning and we haven't…read moreused it.Yesterday I had an AC checkup and both units are bad. Cracks, leaks, rust , you name it. Six thousand to replace parts and make it operational but the units are older so I opted for replacement. I was hoping I had a couple years left in these units. When I called the inspection company I got to hear about how it was too cold to check the air conditioning completely. Then I should just spray refrigerant leak stop as a cheaper repair. Of course I'm stuck paying to replace two units and then I have to listen to self serving talk. I could have gotten the cost of these units taken off the price of the house, now I am out 14 g's. Learn from my mistake . If you have a choice, choose your own home inspector, do your research. The results could be thousands of dollars of repairs that you are responsible for because ultimately they work to protect the home owner although that fact seems to be lost . You will have the horror of replacing units that you never turned on and deal with people who are well versed in deflection. I wanted to add to my review to help people more. Read your home inspection thoroughly. If your home inspector puts a line anywhere in his report that you are able to bring in your own hvac professional, it is his out. It is a CYA move to protect themselves, in case it turns out things are not working properly and need replacing. It's hectic moving, setting up utilities, getting situated, things fall through the cracks, don't be careless or assume the home inspector is always looking out for you, because it may not always be true.
