Ann was willing to take the job since local guy does not install. The product is called a Solar Tube or back in the seventies was called a skylight except this time is much smaller and they use a highly reflective material, if you look at it from the inside it looks just like a fluorescent light that is on all the time. That corner of the kitchen where the stove sits was a little on the dark side and now we don't turn any lights on during the day when cooking. The difference is amazing. The install was done in one morning about a month ago, no leaks so far Keith and his son did a great job. Was skeptical of the results at first but I am a happy camper now. It is more for convenience than savings and I don't even want to calculate the payback time, it may pretty well be 20 years but I don't care, it looks pretty and kitchen is bright as hell.
