April 8: Plumbing disconnected; April 9: New stone installed; Plumbing company was to install new faucet which I provided on April 10 after lunch; I called between 4-5pm to inquire if they were indeed coming that day; I was informed that they could come later that evening but he might smell like sewage because he was on his way to work on a sewage line or he come Saturday, April 11, around 9:30am. He arrived at 12 noon. He installed the new faucet that I provided from Ferguson and Company, only to find out that the new faucet was defective. He told me to order another new faucet from Ferguson on Monday, April 13. I did return defective faucet and ordered new one from Ferguson and Company on April 13. Ferguson had the replacement new faucet delivered to my residence on April 15. I called Ethan on April 15 to let him know that the new faucet was here. He said he could not install it that Wednesday, April 15 or 16, maybe on April 17, but he would call and let me know. No phone call Friday, April 17, but he would definitely be here Monday, April 20.I called at 8am on Monday, April 20 , to see where I was in the schedule; No response; At 12:45 pm I called again; No response ,No communication on April 20. Tuesday, April 21, I felt that I should document the lack of communication with the plumbing company. I sent 2 text messages and 1 email explaining that I felt that if I had not heard anything by Thursday, April 23, that he had abandoned this job. After sending the two texts and 1 email, he responded that he would be here on Wednesday April 22, at 9:30am. He arrived at 9:30 on April 22, and installed the new faucet. After waiting from April 15 to April 22 to finally have water in my kitchen (I had actually been 2 weeks with no water in kitchen), he presented me with a bill for $705.00. Ethan is a good plumber; kept his work area clean; but when I questioned the $705.00 ; poor communication, and the days I waited all day April 10, 15,16,17, and 20th but he did not show up with very little or no correspondence. A good plumber but with poor communication skills, but too expensive. I personally would not use this company again.

My husband and I have known for quite some time that we needed to re-pipe our home due to having a…read moremix of polybutene (which was outlawed in 1995 around the time our home was built) and CPVC piping (extremely brittle). We put it off for several reasons: cost, dreading having holes cut into our walls, thinking we could be without water for days and maybe, even possibly, needing to move out while the job was being done, as I don't do well with chaos and the unknown. However, when Garrett came to our home to give us a quote, he assured me they would cut as few holes as possible to get the job done, would do everything in his power to keep the water on and that we should not have to leave our home at all. Garrett indicated he worked in a manner that would allow us to always have at least one functioning bathroom. It should also be noted that Beaver's pricing beat the pricing of the other two companies I had gained estimates from in prior years. Yes, I said years. This is amazing in and of itself since everything these days cost MORE. Throughout the entire process, Garrett kept his word and both he and Stephen worked tirelessly to get the job done. They were extremely professional, courteous and I could tell that they actually love what they do and care about their customers. They, together with Lily and Steve, the owners, made a dreaded project a lot less painful than I thought possible. They all clearly value customer service above all else. Another rarity these days. I can't thank them all enough and would encourage others to support this local, family-owned business!

We finally got referred to Albert at Railgate Plumbing by an electrician who had worked with him in the past and had just finished making some improvements and repairs to our home. We texted Albert and on short notice he came out, walked the home with us, took note of every issue we reported and in under a week was able to come back out and handle everything in a single day. He was able to repair 3 toilets (wax rings, flappers), unclog a sink, replace an outdated and not up to code saddle valve under our sink, and install a new water heater all with-in a day. The pricing for the entire job was extremely fair compared to what I priced out for national averages online and he was extremely polite, informative and respectful of our home while working here. Thanks again :)
