I was greeted upon walking in the store. I used the kiosk to place my order. I ordered a mango smoothie . FYI: there was only one worker making the orders and taking orders. The smoothie took about 15 minutes. The young lady apologized and handed me my smoothie. The smoothie wasn't too sweet which I liked , but a few pieces of the mango weren't quite blended, so there was a few chunks. Overall, it was a tasty smoothie. Fantastic juice bar! We wanted a healthy snack so we tried their juice smoothies. I had the heart healthy smoothie with-- Almond milk, avocado, cinnamon, maple syrup, sea salt. It was good but very heavy in avocado flavor. I would add some berries or chocolate next time. My friend enjoyed her and she liked the longevity smoothie. We were excited because Sunday is buy one get one free deals! We sat outside and the staff had masks on so I felt comfortable buying the smoothies. I went in yesterday (11-13-21) to take advantage of the bogo deal on The So Basic One smoothie. The staff was pleasant as always though no one was present when I entered the store. It took a few seconds to be greeted. The door of the cooler where detox drinks are usually stored adjacent to the entrance was wide open & beeping. I wondered if I should close it, but decided not to since the beeping was happening when I entered the store. You can see the door still open in my video. (My video was too large to post here.) I didn't know I had a $5 reward available until I was asked for my phone number. I was also asked if I wanted to use the reward on this order. I appreciate having an option. If you want an acai bowl save yourself time and go to Rico's Acai. Clean Juice has gotten so cheap. Overpriced slushy that didn't even taste that great. Maybe a tablespoon of actual fruit and dried micro shredded cheap coconut on top with a massive amount of what is basically a smoothie in a bowl. I ordered the nutty bowl and it was delicious. All of the açaí bowls are all very yummy. There are different types of smoothies, juices, and all sort of healthy options. You can also do meal plans. Here's what we ordered: The Immunity One-this juice was orange colored heaven in an adult sippie cup. It was made with lemons, carrots, pineapples, oranges, turmeric and then I added ginger which gave the juice such a dynamic flavor. The Hardcore One-this juice consisted of spinach, kale, lemon, celery, cucumber and my friend added apples for sweetness. He loved it! This is a nice organic spot in Matthews. It's in a mini shopping center and there is plenty of parking and nice stores nearby. It's pretty clean inside and relatively new. The prices are higher then your typical smoothie or juicing place, but they note it's clean which makes the price difference. For a smoothie your pay around $9.00 for a 16 ounce. From my understanding there aren't any reward programs. I have been on three separate occasions and nothing was mentioned or advertised. I had the intense one as my first drink which is pretty intense. The taste isn't pleasant, but I tried to think of the health benefits to scarf it down. I came back again to see if there was a difference in customer service etc. before writing the review. The second time I had the double one which was pleasantly refreshing and I recommend. The last time I had the chocolate one which is very chocolatey not my fav. It's nice that they offer an option of whey or hemp protein options. You can see them making your smoothie juice or bowl. The only problem I had was the wait time. It's painstakingly slow for no obvious reason. Two out of the three times I waited 15 minutes for a juice and they had more than two people working.
