Clean Juice is a solid spot for organic and fresh options. The store's interior is pretty neat and clean, they have a fridge of their bottled juices and merchandise such as tank tops and shirts. It wasn't the most welcoming atmosphere when I came but overall the service was average. I ordered The Beauty Bowl which came in a cup instead because they ran out of bowls that day (The Beauty Cup?) which was around $12... I love health food stores like this typically. This one was just OK. It started with me calling in to place an acai bowl order for pick up. The lady said they don't take phone orders and I would have to place to the order online. "But, I am driving", I said. She said she would make an exception but this was the last time. Felt like I was back in elementary with my teacher admonishing me. Perhaps that cast a gloom over the acai bowl, I thought it was just OK. I got the Nuttly Bowl with extra almond butter and cocoa nibs. I have had better. Not worth ~$15+ including tip for a snack size bowl. Apparently they are a chain and have another location in Santa Cruz. This is in the Pruneyard, so know that parking can be a challenge. read more

Had a great customer service experience with Kalea! she is so friendly and knew a lot about the drinks and smoothies because I didn't know what to get but she recommended the strawberry cheesecake smoothie and the avocado toast and I was so happy she did because now I will be ordering that every time! For whatever reason, I was craving an açaí bowl this morning when it was in the mid 30s. I decided to give this place a shot and ordered their cold brew bowl (huge coffee fan here). It was pretty good; not overly sweet and a subtle hint of coffee flavor. Would I order it again? Sure. Was it worth the price? Debatable. Overall - It satisfied my açaí bowl craving and I wouldn't mind stopping here again to try their other flavors. read more

What a complete joke. I sent a friend to get to 2 orange juices we come back with a bill of $36. They charged us $3.50 for ice and then $5.50 for no ice. Are you fn kidding me. For the longest time, VB was pretty much the only specialty shop around for a wide selection of açaí bowls, but I'm happy to say there is a new kid in town! Every time I come here it takes almost 15 minutes to get your drink. Even when we ordered online 20 min before arrival they still had a ten minute wait time.... For one drink this seems a little crazy to me. Also the drinks are okay, I enjoy them but not enough to wait 40 minutes ... maybe they should hire more staff. Ps. They have a good variety of juices and smoothies I tried the immunity drink and I loved it and it was cold too which I loved!! Usually fresh squeezed juices don't come cold but this one was which was great with this summer heat The shop is pretty nice and clean and they have magazines and cook books you can check while you're waiting you drink It might be a little pricy tho as a normal size cup costs around $10 But loved it and will be back for sure read more

My friend and I came here with empty stomachs on a Saturday morning. Although I did leave full with breakfast, I also left with little grains still in my mouth (I'll explain later). The interior of the place is very clean and spacious. They offer a wide variety of healthy juices and acai bowls which was nice. I decided to order the nutty bowl with goji berries while my friend tried their berry bowl. I think the employees that morning were new as our cashier took some time in taking my order and the juice maker took a while to prepare our bowls (there were maybe 2 people in front of us but it took around 12 minutes). While I was eating the nutty bowl, I kept finding little grains in my mouth with each bite. I couldn't bite into it as it was too hard so I had to spit them out each time. I don't know if it was from the base or the toppings but it made my meal difficult to consume. My friend said that her berry bowl was a little bland as it wasn't as sweet as expected. This place is also on the expensive side as we paid around $12 for a small bowl of acai. read more

Place is clean and plenty of parking (weekends may or may not be difficult since it is Pruneyard). The juices reminds me of Kaui Juice Company in Hawaii. So the menu here is big enough that you'll need to stand there for a while to figure out what you want. The staff I've encountered have been super helpful (3 visits so far). You can choose from a ton of juices, smoothies, protein smoothies, açaí bowls, and "greenoa" bowls, and throw in add-ons of your choosing. Their "Yummus Bowl" is delicious and HUGE - more than enough for lunch for me. On a Monday, they gave me a free kids smoothie (I think they do that every Monday) for ordering my bowl, so I had "The Wild One," which was great. I've also tried "The Coffee One" and "The So Basic One" smoothies and they were both awesome. I love that they have the caloric values for everything and that their fruit and vegetables are organic. Some might complain that it's pricey, but you get what you pay for. And I definitely feel good after eating here. Today I tried the Immunity One. This was excellent!!! Everyone getting sick around me. I hope it works. This has Orange,Carrot, Pineapple, turmeric and Lemon. I'm always grateful to find a kids menu. The Wild One was great for the kids it has Almond Butter and Almond Milk. They can make fresh juices, Smoothies, protein Smoothies, Açaí Bowls and Greenoa Bowls, toasts, and Cleanses and shots too. I wanted to write a good review because their food/drinks were actually really good... but SO not worth the price. I ordered "The Glow One" and the avocado toast and almond butter toast, along with two bottled juices for later. The Glow One drink was very light and refreshing, but also mostly ice. Definitely not worth $11.21 The avocado toast and the almond butter toast were $8.34 each... naturally, I thought I'd be getting at least two slices of toast for each order, and might be able to share each with my family. But nope. Just one slice of toast for each order (but on DoorDash, it displays like there should be two slices). Even though they were really yummy and pretty, I was very mislead paying that much and actually being shown differently than what I ordered. HORRIBLE PLACE!! Do not go here. So sad because I crave a good smoothie and juice and their gluten free toast is amazing. But the business is just the worst. Slow as hell. Horrible customer service. I tried to like it. I really did. I swore I wouldn't come back a year ago, but there are so few places like this on the area. Lesson learned. Some thing never change. If you order pickup or in store, count on a 45 minute wait (and that is of they have no other customers) and often things are made wrong or missing ingredients. If you order delivery through their app, count on not getting your items and not getting a refund. Today I ordered a protein smoothies and gluten free protein toast. I order through the app and delivery because I am sick. After waiting 80 minutes for my delivery order, I called them, and after five times of them not answering, I finally spoke to someone who said "We make it. That's my only job." They swore it was delivered but when I asked how to they know? They said they don't know and it's not their problem. They claimed to talk to their manager, put me on hold for 10 minutes, and then hung up on me. I called back and they said it was my fault, not theirs. I explained that they were responsible for the delivery service they ordered, but let's face it. I was talking to someone who makes smoothies and has no authority to do anything...and probably doesn't care. I asked to speak to the manager and they said they weren't there. Convenient. I just don't know how people don't take responsibility and care about customers. Especially places where the food isn't cheap and the customers are niche. $35 down the drain and will never go here again. Added the next day: My order from yesterday arrived at my front gate today at noon. 24 hours later. I have no idea if Clean Juice remade it, if the delivery person kept my food overnight, or when it was even delivered today. A big mystery but not even worth the effort to figure out. read more

I got 18oz 2 sweet greens, 2 red beets, white, and cacao milk and they were all tasty. The only thing I was really disappointed in was that two of the drinks expired the day I bought it. Berry Bowl (2 stars): I don't know what they added to my bowl, but it did not taste like what I expected. It wasn't sweet. It didn't have strawberries even though it's listed on the description. I took 3 bites and threw it away... $12 wasted lol Nutty Bowl (2 stars): same for berry bowl, my Bf did not enjoy his bowl. for the extra things we added to it, it tasted weird. I must admit that clean eating has become more difficult for me since having a child and being on the go frequently. Then with my current pregnancy, I have been feeling ill and it's been hard to get all my nutrients in. This morning I swung by Clean Juice and decided to try their açaí bowl and the pitaya lemonade (for later). I feel so much more energized than I have been for the past few days. I had it with the gluten free granola because they ran out of regular granola and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was mixed in. The price point here is great and you really do pay for quality. I'm hoping that I can incorporate some clean juice in my diet more regularly!
