They don't vacuum the interior very thoroughly. They "wipe" the dash, but nothing really looks "clean" when they're done with it. I know it's not a detail, but they give half effort to even wipe surfaces. I'd rather just take the 30-60 minutes out of my day to wash my car myself.

But, with the weather getting nicer, I'm finally noticing how terrible my car looks. Underneath the road grime and bird poop is a nice looking car. I did consider going to a self-serve car wash, because it's cheaper. But, I decided to give this car wash a try. I'm very glad I did. I got the top of the line car wash, which cost $10, and my car looks beautiful again. For everything you get, I happily left a $5 tip. It's still a bargain for that price. The two guys who scrubbed down my car before it went through the automated wash really worked their butts off getting every last stain off my car. I am truly astounded by how well they did. Now, I can actually see things out of my back up camera, instead of this weird psychedelic blur. I can see through my entire windshield, and not just the windshield wiper shaped curve. It's like having a new car.

They have 2 bays where it automatically washes your car for you and I believe another 4 for the DIY bays. I am only giving this wash 3 stars because it isn't my favorite... expect to pay at least around 5 bucks in quarters to wash your car if your doing it yourself... there is nothing worse than hearing that dreaded beeping sound when your timer 8s under 1 min. To go and you still have soap all over your ride. Another reason this is only 3 stars is the vacuums suck because they don't suck... I would never in my life use the shampoo function on the darn things... but for 2 bucks I guess you could if you want... The rainbow foam is ALWAYS BROKEN and the tire cleaner is ALWAYS empty. So just use the plain foam brush and water to rinse... don't waste your time like I did. Tip.. When your done... MOVE. make room for other people! If your still drying off your car just pull into the pep boys parking lot next door and clean the inside and dry your car off there. I hate ignorant people who hold everyone up when you could just move.

They have 5 bays here, and 2 can accommodate large vehicles. If you drive a house on wheels, then you'd be able to wash it here. They don't have timers in the bays like Easy Wash, so it's hard to tell when your time is up. Also, it costs $1.00 to get the pump running. The redeeming quality of G&M is that they have a diy shampooer that works just like a coin-operated vacuum. I don't know how many times I've come to G&M just to use this... but it's kept my carpet from looking like it's 9 different colors. I'd suggest going elsewhere to wash your car, unless you need a shampoo. It'll only cost a couple bucks, and it sure beats buying a machine or paying someone ridiculous money to shampoo your carpet for you.
