Great idea being open 24 hours a day. The downfall is that with so many machines OUT OF ORDER if it is busy you have to wait for a machine. The whole reason to go to the laundry mat is that they have multiple machines so you shouldn't have to wait. Dryers 24 total and only 9 work 15 are OUT OF ORDER. Washers 21 total and 14 work and 7 are OUT OF ORDER. Best times to go are Late evening, overnight, early morning to always have a machine open. Prices are great on machines. Several washers have a quick cycle this is a great time saver. They also have a mega washer which can take a load up to 80lbs. read more

Very disrespectful, entitled owner. Rude . No sinks to wash hands and no bathrooms. No soaps for sale. No extras. 3 large loads cost me $60 and not dry! We did our vacation laundry here. The washers are expensive ($4.50) per load. But the dryers are reasonable and fast. However, the downside is that about 1/3 of the washers were out of service. They need to clean the place and service the machines! read more

Beware that your item you take in for costly dry cleaning may not look the same when you pick it up. What they don't tell you is that Portland Dry Cleaners does not press. Any professional dry cleaner offers "press only" services, but not this one. Plus, they do not believe in good customer service or good business practices. What a horrible little place. Wi-Fi not working the day I was there. I had to get quarters from the change machine. The washers...as you select your settings, then the price goes up. Customers beware: this establishment does not care about the quality care of your garment. They send dry cleaning to Portland Dry Cleaners, whom I would also avoid if you're in the Portland area. The owners are unprofessional and blame each other for lost/damaged items with a total disregard for the customer or their valued garment, and neither will take any responsibility for an item supposedly under their "care" so any follow-up is useless. I've never witnessed such utter nonchalance from a business owner around failed services and ruined items. Unfortunately laundry options are few and far between in Camden but I will be driving my best wares to Portland for better care and service - what a shame. read more

Should update their website to make dry-cleaning process clear: Dry cleaning is done in Portland, with 3 pickups a week - and they cannot guarantee it comes backs next order no matter what. I was hoping to get a suit and blouse dry cleaned here after reading on their website "Please let the attendant know if you are dropping off time sensitive items - such as needed for an upcoming trip or event. we'll flag your order so that you will be sure to get them back on time." - with drop-off times before 10.30a Mon, Wed and Friday. But when I called she said that even if I get it in early Monday morning to make the pick-up, there is no way to guarantee I get it back on Wednesday's drop-off. It is a "50-50 chance" it makes it back from Portland where the services are actually performed so I could get it back as late as 1p Friday... and we leave for a wedding on Friday morning. read more

Plus they stock all kinds of environmentally friendly detergent and related products . We got free detergent this weekend too - 4th of July special! With a need to wash clothes we located the Clean Bee facility. There were plenty of machines available for use. The attendence were helpful and kept the laundromat clean. You can use your credit card to activate the washer and dryer. Costs .50 cents for detergent and $4.50 for one load of wash and $1.50 one load in dryer. Easy parking, free WiFi but no public restroom. The entire place from parking to facility is wheelchair accessible. read more

Friendly staff, quality machines. The staff and owners take pride in their work. I really liked the "self serve soap bar" and the free wifi. Great community bulletin board too. Seems like they care about the customers and the community. They have a jar where they collect spare change and donate it to an organization that helps children. read more
