Great idea being open 24 hours a day. The downfall is that with so many machines OUT OF ORDER if it is busy you have to wait for a machine. The whole reason to go to the laundry mat is that they have multiple machines so you shouldn't have to wait. Dryers 24 total and only 9 work 15 are OUT OF ORDER. Washers 21 total and 14 work and 7 are OUT OF ORDER. Best times to go are Late evening, overnight, early morning to always have a machine open. Prices are great on machines. Several washers have a quick cycle this is a great time saver. They also have a mega washer which can take a load up to 80lbs. read more

Literally never open! Just went to try to pick up my dry cleaning for the third time this week and no one is there! No one answers the phone either. read more

Our experience was very good. Plenty of machines to use... different load sizes... could use my credit card. Quite clean and the attendant was friendly and helpful. If you're traveling and don't have a washer/Dryer where you are staying... this is a great option. We traveled by car from Texas so we weren't ruffled by prices. read more

Lighthouse Laundry - Laundry Services Near Me - Camden, Maine

Not sure how a place of business can actually be allowed to run like this ..19 out of the 24 dryers are out of order..same with the washers..Never seems to be any employees around..the counter is always closed but the place is open 24/7 ..Camden is a really busy place this time of year and could have alot of business if your machines actually was up and running!! Before the new owners took over it was always clean and kept up .. read more

Over two-thirds of the dryers are out of order which results in a long wait to dry clothes if others are using them.

They do not honor posted hours for their window. Twice I have been there when they are supposed to be open per website, per signs and the window was closed. read more

Very disrespectful, entitled owner. Rude . No sinks to wash hands and no bathrooms. No soaps for sale. No extras. 3 large loads cost me $60 and not dry! Most of washers and dryers were " no in order", and the same as 3 weeks ago. No service dogs allowed. Very expensive washers and dryers. PS. Claims the parking lot out front is " private". We will be doing our " family reunion" laundry elsewhere from now on. It was a 2 the first visit. A 1 this time read more

Decent, clean laundromat. Prices are at least 6.00 a load to wash- depending on the type of wash you choose.

We did our vacation laundry here. The washers are expensive ($4.50) per load. But the dryers are reasonable and fast. However, the downside is that about 1/3 of the washers were out of service. They need to clean the place and service the machines! read more

Beware that your item you take in for costly dry cleaning may not look the same when you pick it up. What they don't tell you is that Portland Dry Cleaners does not press. Any professional dry cleaner offers "press only" services, but not this one. Plus, they do not believe in good customer service or good business practices. They are rated 3 for good reason and they don't care enough to raise their standings. read more

Great facilities, well maintained and clean. Great facility for completing your Sunday wash. Recommend. God Bless!

What a horrible little place. Wi-Fi not working the day I was there. I had to get quarters from the change machine. The washers...as you select your settings, then the price goes up. Medium soil level, 50 cents more, warm water, another 50 cents. The floor is dirty. The attendant spent most of the time I was there on the phone. read more

The hours posted on their door said 0700-0830 but inside the door there is a handwritten sign that said they didn't open until 1000. Very disappointing as I was counting on doing my laundry before leaving Camden. read more

Good place to do your vacation laundry. Next door is a discount store, Chinese, and food cart.

I have been a loyal customer for years and use your business to serve my business but unless masks are enforced and worn by your employees I will no longer recommend your business or use your services. The machines are frequently out of order read more

Customers beware: this establishment does not care about the quality care of your garment. They send dry cleaning to Portland Dry Cleaners, whom I would also avoid if you're in the Portland area. The owners are unprofessional and blame each other for lost/damaged items with a total disregard for the customer or their valued garment, and neither will take any responsibility for an item supposedly under their "care" so any follow-up is useless. I've never witnessed such utter nonchalance from a business owner around failed services and ruined items. Unfortunately laundry options are few and far between in Camden but I will be driving my best wares to Portland for better care and service - what a shame. read more

Should update their website to make dry-cleaning process clear: Dry cleaning is done in Portland, with 3 pickups a week - and they cannot guarantee it comes backs next order no matter what. I was hoping to get a suit and blouse dry cleaned here after reading on their website "Please let the attendant know if you are dropping off time sensitive items - such as needed for an upcoming trip or event. we'll flag your order so that you will be sure to get them back on time." - with drop-off times before 10.30a Mon, Wed and Friday. But when I called she said that even if I get it in early Monday morning to make the pick-up, there is no way to guarantee I get it back on Wednesday's drop-off. It is a "50-50 chance" it makes it back from Portland where the services are actually performed so I could get it back as late as 1p Friday... and we leave for a wedding on Friday morning. read more

None of the workers have been wearing masks during this pandemic, even when folding customers' laundry.

Hours posted aren't accurate. Sunday morning supposed to open at 8 its way after 9 and still no one in sight! Got up early to get all laundry together and get here early, so disappointed to see no sign on the door except the hours of operation that are clearly wrong! read more

We were looking for a laundry that would wash, dry and fold while we were shopping in Camden. The woman at the counter did a great job! Our laundry was folded with great care. We highly recommend Clean Bee! read more

My dress came back dirty. They send everything off and dont even check it when they come back.

We were traveling from Canada and needed our laundry washed and dry folded. Clean Bee was able to meet our needs! It's in a cute shopping center on the main drag in a cheerful, welcoming storefront. The lady was very accommodating and did a GREAT job. We are completely satisfied. read more

What a great laundromat! I never knew I could feel enthusiastic about this kind of establishment but friendly staff and well designed graphics make this special. Plus they stock all kinds of environmentally friendly detergent and related products . We got free detergent this weekend too - 4th of July special! Just a really great example of how a basic can be elevated by thoughtful management. read more

With a need to wash clothes we located the Clean Bee facility. There were plenty of machines available for use. The attendence were helpful and kept the laundromat clean. You can use your credit card to activate the washer and dryer. Costs .50 cents for detergent and $4.50 for one load of wash and $1.50 one load in dryer. Easy parking, free WiFi but no public restroom. The entire place from parking to facility is wheelchair accessible. read more

Clean Bee Laundry owners are genuinely, personable and responsible in everything that they do, including their impact on the environment. From cloth diaper service and sales, to putting in ozone cleaners, they offer the public a service that goes beyond your average cleaning business. Do your own, or have them wash, dry and fold. They also include internet and a tanning booth.. I would recommend their business to anyone wishing to become more environmentally friendly while working with people of the highest integrity. read more

Friendly staff, quality machines. The staff and owners take pride in their work. I really liked the "self serve soap bar" and the free wifi. Great community bulletin board too. Seems like they care about the customers and the community. They have a jar where they collect spare change and donate it to an organization that helps children. read more
