A delightful, mid coast, mid trip laundry adventure. Huge facility with plenty of washers & dryers, rolling baskets and an attentive attendant ! We pulled into town after a week in The White Mountains & the Acadia area, Lots of parking in their own lot as the town is a busy one. We loved the fact that we could take a walk during the wash cycle, right next door to the robust indoor farmers market. During the dry cycle, another walk around town. Belfast is a great town, lots to do, water front area. In no way did we even for a moment think it was disgusting, in fact, we felt like it was fabulous in every way & in no way unclean. Great location and speedy machines! The wonderful person working there was attentive and friendly.

Place is disgusting!!!! black mold in the top compartment of the washers where u are suppose to put ur laundry liquid. I went over the weekend to wash blankets and they smelt even worse after washing them. they don't clean the equipment and staff is rude and ignorant!! read more

So consistently rude, bossy and patronizing is the attendant on duty when I do my laundry on weekday mornings that I can only give the place one star despite any good qualities it might otherwise have. Her 'the-customer-is-always-Wrong' attitude makes doing laundry way more of a chore than it already is. Guess I'm going to have to start going to the laundromat in nearby Searsport instead. read more

Very clean laundry mat! An abundance of machines for washing and drying. Washers of different size capacity and all front loading. Some washers don't have timers but assume about 25 minutes per load. All dryers are standard $.25 per 15 minute units. Would come again due to cleanliness. read more

This place often does not have hot water, and they never will tell you that they don't have hot water. You only notice it after you start your load, and then use the bathroom and realize there's no hot water coming from the faucet no matter how long you let it run-- it's ice cold. So then you ask about it and they've known all along. But no sign. It's fairly clean but could be cleaner. The bathroom smells so strongly of chemical perfumes that it makes it hard to stand near or use the machines in that area. There are always people smoking right out front, employees and customers alike. The last several times I've done laundry there my laundry has come out smelling like vomit or burnt rubber... it's a very thick odor that literally smells like someone vomited in the dryer as my clothes turned and dumped a bag of rubber bands in there with it to melt. I've tried different machines, and different detergents, and it's been consistently awful for a while now. Won't be returning. read more

Best Laundromat in the surrounding 30 minute drive. All the washers work, all the dryers work. Change machine works! The place is CLEAN and Open when it says it is! Beyond that it's easily accessible and on the main road. For Allegany County this is a huge help. On vacation in Midcoast needed to do laundry and found this place in downtown Belfast. Parking lot in front, very clean and organized with an attendant who shooed away any loitterers. $2.75 a load, $1 for detergent, .25 for each 4 minutes of drying. Credit cards and change machines were all functioning perfectly. We were in and out in less than an hour and during that time walked next door to the Belfast Coop for coffee and a bagel. read more

The overall cleanliness of the place has really gone downhill since the change in ownership. Just tonight, the 3rd and 4th row of washers were unuseable. Two were covered in dog hair, four more hadn't been cleaned under the window in the door (visibly gross and unsanitary) and the other row all smelled of mold and mildew. Bring back the costumed goose, kind attendants and clean, sanitary local laundromat, please! read more

There is always someone on duty who can help you with any problems. The place and the machines are always very clean, so if you drop anything on the floor, no worries. The only problem is that parking can be a bit difficult when it's busy. Early morning is best. I would like to add that there is a young woman, by the name of Stephanie, who works there. She has been, to me, extremely courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable about the equipment. read more

This is a very nice coin operated laundry. Additionally, they have Wi-Fi which is great when you are using AT&T which doesn't register north of Bath, Maine. Their parking lot makes it easy to park and take your laundry into the place, versus parking a block and a half away, and carrying it. read more
