We would probably not use Wingard again unless it was a smaller project. The people who did the actual work were fantastic. The people we worked with in the office were a headache and didn't explain things well. We never had somebody some out and go over 'potential' and how to best utilize our space since we chose to do a FULL kitchen remodel. The cabinet company they preferred did the WORST installation job and they had to come back out to fix it but seriously.. why did I as a paying customer for a full remodel have to mention it and not the project manager and then the cabinets guys seemed annoyed they even had to come back out. It was wild. The lady who helped make product decisions was rude and didn't explain things and the process so we had to pick floors well after we picked cabinets from a different company. It was just not a smooth and seamless process as a first timer using contractors for a full remodel. Overall, I love my kitchen and the workers made it worth it and felt comfortable with them in the house.

I sent him a message and within 30 minutes he called me. And within a few hours, he was over at my house. He came in full PPE even though it was 90+ degrees and we discussed painting the outside of my house per the recommendations of my CEO/CFO (aka wife). After consulting with him I told him I needed to discuss the quote with my wife and he understood and did not pressure us. After discussing with the wife, she was fine with the quote and when I texted Greg back, we were scheduled right away. He also dropped off a Kelly-Moore color fan deck so that we could pick specific colors since he uses Kelly-Moore paint. Unfortunately, the week Greg started, the weather went haywire. It went from the low 90s to triple digits. We even had a freak thunderstorm in between and then had smoke from the fires. Yet, Greg was still able to do complete the job on time. While I did receive some quotes from other painters, Greg was the quickest to respond. And his punctuality is what made us choose him since we've had some flaky contractors in the past. Another bonus point is that we have a ton of cacti around our house, and despite getting poked and stabbed, he was able to get the job done. At the end of the day, if you want to support a local painter that works hard and is readily available, I highly recommend Greg.

Greg Arend did a great job for me. He came to fix my daughters METALLIC paint job. well, to say…read morethe least kids...don't use metallic. Anyhow, he got the paint color matched up and replanted it for me. And that's after he tried using the metallic, so he went above and beyond getting the correct paint and coming back to re-do it and not OVER charging me. Tho he did charge me more. weird math skills, but still fair. he did give me a calk gun and some caulk and showed me how to do it. REVISED...next day well, i had to take away some stars because i had to go over many spots that still looked metallic . I noticed some yesterday as well. When i asked him to paint over it yesterday over the new paint he did so in many different strokes i can now see weird patterns on the wall. so, both issues required me to take out the paint and buy a new brush.
